Nice place. Good and clean rooms. If I could give dem a tips it would make the tv area bigger, use the corner where the manikin doll are sitting, that’s empty space. But now there was EM in soccer so it felt a bit crowded.

The room is clean but the room is west facing with no fan and its hot making it unbearable to stay in the room. Middle of the night, the tour bus parked at the service road next to our room window and its so noisy with the engine noise and people talking.

Breakfast could be improved with some kind of eggs and not just apples as fruit.

This was our 3rd time at this hostel. We like it, because it always has a room for our family of four (incl. breakfast) for a reasonable price. The building and rooms have been nicely remodeled in the past 2 years. The breakfast selection is very good, comparable more to a hotel than a hostel.

This was our 2nd time here and it was even better than last year when the remodel was still going on. Modern, newly appointed rooms with multiple beds, ideal for families. Breakfast was very good as well.

Reservation was incorrectly transmitted by hotels.com and the hostel tried to charge me for an extra room and argued about it.

Art & Style in Singen is a fresh modernised former youth hostel. Most of the rooms have airco, but after arriving we we're disappointed to discover we got a room without airco. Because of the extreme tropical temperatures in july (2018) we requested for a room-change and the friendly staff fortunately succeeded in arranging a room with airco :-).
The hostel is located perfectly for day-trips in the interesting environment of the Bodensee in Germany and the area across the Swiss Border (Rheinfall near Schaffhausen and the village of Stein am Rhein are wonderfull. Outside the village of Stein am Rhein there is a nice spot across the Rhein with a lilliput-train, where you can take a dive in the very clear river).
Pay attention that in the city of Singen itself there is not much action, however with many interesting spots in the direct area (as mentioned) we enjoyed our stay. We can recommend the restaurant Casa de Espana in Singen (mixed grill fish is great !) and a visit to the Hohentwiel Ruins, from which you will have a great view up to the Bodensee. Also a (evening)visit to the exciting city of Konstantz (including strandbad Hörnle) is recommended.

Stayed in private room. Very comfy beds, very clean. Good bathroom and rest of the facilities. Could do with a hairdryer but apart of that all was fantastic.

The hotel was recently remodeled. All new furnishings and bathrooms. Arty, playful decorating style. The room was small but still had a small sofa and desk top with chair. Works for us since we are out and about for long days. Breakfast had a good selection to choose from. Excellent coffee. Friendly and helpful staff. Walking distance to town.
