Very cheap and so would stay again if needed a place to rest for the night. Note that hotels.com says dog friendly and that it’s a $10 fee. In the end, they did honour this once I showed them, but they gave me a bit of a hard time saying that it’s not dog friendly, then calling the manager, then trying to charge me $20. They also charge $100 deposit and refund it back the next morning (…which is kind of weird - modt places just preauthorize the charge). When I said I was leaving before the office opened in the morning they agreed not to do this which was nice. But I’m pretty sure our room was downgraded (original room was crossed out on the key card holder).

The process of vakidation my reservatiob was a challenge. The bed sheet was spoted yellow like someone pee in the bed. Spider in the bath.Fridge look like he was hit wuth Hammer multiple time. i cancel my reservation on the spot and won't have my family sleeping in that room. Site under renos and they should close it until they are done. At the moment they are not having good review

On arrival, the desk clerk had no record of us coming. Had to show her the booking on my phone. Room was excellent and nicely renovated. No coffee maker as advertised. For the money a good value.

Place isn't clean, super bright lights shining in your windows all night to illuminate the crack heads scurrying around outside, bathroom door doesn't latch and there's a sketchy bathroom window facing a outside hallway with another bright light shining in. Wouldn't stay again for free frankly.

The place looked trashed.. reno/fire garbage all over the place. Dog shot all over the place 2 piles at my door... place is disgusting!! Windows dont lock. Bathroom window the glads is half full of water. Toilet didnt flush properly no exhaust fan. Tried to tell me they wanted 200.00 deposit for my dog, i saidno way in hell ill go elsewhere.. so dhe says ok,... 100.00...

I would not recommend this hotel to my worst enemy. The room was dirty when i arriced and the cleaning staff accused me of making the mess. There were boogers on the wall and what looked like rocks all over the floor. Not to mention the sketchy people hanging around the parking lot. I hardly slept out of fear that my car was going to get broken into. There appeared to be a lot of drug activity and homeless people on the peoperty. DO NOT RENT HERE

I booked at 8 p.m. and arrived around midnight. Nobody was there to open the door or answer the phone. Not even a message was possible to leave.I ended up looking for another hotel and loose the one night fee paid to Sunrise Motel

The property was very old and not well maintained. The room had a kitchenette and the only cutlery was 2 knives that had been used to hot knife drugs. I will never stay there again and would advise that nobody I know stay there also. In short the motel was disgusting.

The property seemed under renovations still. -half painted walls in hallways. The stairs up to our room were very steep and thin. We were given a room with a hole in the wall, and "hundo" written on the lamp shade. Cleanliness was not great. Visible dirt/grime on light switches and sink. I guess they have some pretty rowdy guests. Damage deposit was $200CAD

Unfortunately it was very gloomy and dirty. There were a lot of stains and dirt on the walls, doors, shower area. I couldn’t use the deadbolt until I carved a packed now frozen mixture of toilet paper and soap out of the frame socket. I travel solo and did not feel safe.

Room was ok but wasnt as clean as i thought it would be but overall a ok stay. Initially got put in a smaller room not what we booked but was rectified soon after. If on a tight budget than its a place to sleep and a shower.

I was locked out of my room from 4:30am until 8am. No front office staff on premises during the night and NO emergency contact number to get ahold of anyone. No choice but to sit outside and freeze until the staff finally showed up at 8:15. Horrible.

What a horrible experience and we would not recommend this location. Gratefully, the front desk staff were lovely and accommodating with a 100% money back as was Hotels.com, allowing us to change locations
