EMILY AND MONICA WERE THE BEST... TOP LEVEL SERVICE, BEST HOTEL IN MANUEL ANTONIO.

Loved my stay here! Could see sloths and monkeys every day from our balcony and woke up most mornings to the howler moneys! Kids had a blast in the pool, and breakfast was quick and easy every morning. Communication with the front desk was easy when needed. Only ate dinner at the restaurant on the first night, food was pretty good and could even watch the monkeys while we ate. Overall, totally recommend!

The hotel is thoroughly modern facility. Very good staff at the feont desk. The pool and restaurant area are nice. The monkeys visited during the free breakfast. Thats pretty quiet and private. No water views from there.
Its just up the road from the main street and multiple options for eating and entertainment. Very safe area.
Beware its a steep hill but we like to and are able to walk. Driving the surrounding roads to get there and around are tight. You can also just hire a taxi.
You can hear cars and cycles theought the door in our room that faced the road.
Each room has a balcony for two.

Great place, wonderful service, feels like we had it to ourselves, easy access to pools and restaurant, great view, but not right by the beach - but we still walked it. Good exercise coming back up the hill!

Everything about this property was fantastic. The Team that welcomes you at the front desk remember your name, and are very helpful. I like to walk places and was able to do so safely and easily. The restaurant on-site was delicious. Highly recommend.

Beautiful hotel, comfortable room, tasty breakfast, and helpful staff like Andres and a couple of restaurant staff. The hotel is nicely located - able to see monkeys from the restaurant and room, so made it more memorable. The only downside was the pools are a little small although super refreshing in the heat and that a staff person advised something for a park tour that turned out to not be true (no tour guides return to pick you up if you decide to stay later, but I was told that was the case).

Our Tucan suite was large enough for the 4 of us and quite comfortable. Breakfast was very good although limited options (american, traditional Costa Rican, French toasts, or omelette) without a lighter/healthier one (continental or yogurt, cereal, large fruit platter, etc). Andres and Eithan at the main desk were very friendly and helpful. Andres was able to get us a last minute tour to Manuel Antonio although tickets for the day were sold out, and Eithan made our check out extremely comfortable.

We liked the breakfast area and the pool. It had small kitchen too. Our rooms were kind of below the street level but the patio opened to lots of trees. I wish our rooms were level 3 and above.

We are a family of four, with a 12 year-old and a 14 year-old. We stayed for 5 nights in the Tucan suite (3rd floor).
I had done a lot of research prior to coming, and it was really important that our room had a great view of the treetops. Jungle Vista did not disappoint, as one entire side of our suite was basically a viewing area to the lush greenery outside. Within a few minutes of hanging out by the balcony, we were able to spot numerous capuchin monkeys and howler monkeys leaping from branch to branch. We didn't see other kinds of animals, but perhaps we might have if we brought binoculars.
The temperature in the room can be adjusted to your liking. We shut off the a/c if we wanted to keep the glass doors open; and when it got too warm, the a/c cooled the suite down quickly.
The master bed was very comfortable: the mattress was firm but not too hard. My husband thought the pillows were a bit flat, but I found them okay.
My son slept on the couch (which converted to a bed), while my daughter slept on the mattress that had to be pulled out from underneath the couch. They didn't complain about the sleep, but whenever we sat on the couch, the seat/mattress kept sliding out from under us, and that was annoying.
The Tucan suite has a kitchen with a full fridge and gas stove. It came with glass and dishware, which came in handy. Prior to arriving, we had picked up dish soap and a sponge from Walmart, but the hotel does provide a cleaning pad.
The bathroom was spacious

Perfect stay while in Manuel Antonio area. Manuel was really helpful in booking the excursions we wanted to take and the wildlife that came to visit the grounds around the resort made it seem like we were in the middle of the jungle.

We stayed for 8 nights and really enjoyed our stay. The staff are friendly and kind. The rooms are clean and spacious. Its one and only restaurant features an excellent varied menu. Highly recommended this place. Walkable to everything in the area. Owned by Los Altos an upscale hotel up the road. We used their spa and ate the pool cafe. Would definitely stay there again if back in that area.

Beautiful, clean, well appointed room with a kitchenette and sitting area. Full furnished patio. Gorgeous pool and fabulous restaurant. A little close to the street so can be noisy but still a nice boutique hotel.

Jungle Vista exceeded all of our expectations. The room is beautiful, the staff is attentive, and the restaurant’s food is delicious! We were able to see howler monkeys, squirrel monkeys and even a sloth from our balcony.

We had such a nice stay at Jungle Vista. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. We stayed in one of the Iguana Suites which overlooked the pool and the jungle. The monkeys put on a great show for us especially on our last day. They are up early BTW! Breakfast (included) was delicious. We stopped by the restaurant for drinks a couple of evenings had dinner there at least once. The food and service were very good and priced reasonable. Thank you to Gabriella and Michael for the cake and decorating our room for my boyfriends birthday. Truly above and beyond!!

Horrible experience, hotel was understaffed and they made us wait for 6hrs before letting us into a room that was still not ready, missing duvet and pillowcases. Once in the room I started having breathing difficulties and noted mold under the bathroom sink. There was no other room available. completely overbooked. Other guests were also complaining about the wait. We checked out after the first night, very disappointing.

Nice hotel in a good location. Staff was friendly.
But for the price we paid: shower was really bad (constant switching from very hot to very cold water). Also, the hotel has stairs and when people are walking on stairs, it is very loud.
But the shower is the one thing that made our stay much less enjoyable.

We had a wonderful stay at Jungle Vista. Everyone was so nice and friendly. We had a Toucan apartment, which included full kitchen, king bed, pull out couch and walk out balcony. Delicious daily breakfast included. The waiter in the cafe was my favorite. So very nice. The white faced monkeys would hang out and try to steal the sugar packets. They were on the patio while we ate and provided hours of entertainment. We also saw and heard the howler monkeys and one sloth. Free parking too.The only cons were we were not allowed to use the sister property but that was fine. The bed was a bit hard but my biggest complaint was the water. It would turn from scalding hot to ice cold while showering. We learned to shower quickly, while constantly adjusting the temp. Felt very safe in the hotel and the area overall. Excellent restaurants close by.

Beautiful rooms, extremely clean and great staff. Loved staying here and the front desk employees were extremely helpful and pleasant. I almost didn’t stay here because a few bad reviews but I’m really glad we did. The hotel has a partnership with a nearby resort also which was really awesome. A car comes to pick you up to drop you off at a private beach or the resorts Pool. Couldn’t of been any better, too many people complain about the small things! Yes there is construction but who come to see Costa Rica to stay in their room all day. Don’t let that stop you. We were never woken up by construction and they stopped by 4 or 5.
