First night was a little disturbed when around 11:30pm-12midnight an elderly couple tried so many times to open our door. We are already asleep and tired from flight and this couple are coming back and forth to open our door and we tried to call front desk and no one answered and until the couple left for good. There are few friends we called living 5 min of property asking their advices. The drunk couple even left their glass of beer on porch. They must have leave an apology note if they have manners.
Otherwise overall experience is good at Morritts! Highly recommended!

There were bugs in the room. Staff wasn’t too friendly

Overall we had a good stay. Like the pools (multiple as the two we used both had a swim up bar).
What they could improve: they clean the muck that arrived in the beach in the afternoon; why don’t you do that in the morning so that people can enjoy the beach more? Also: they seem to have a standard policy of not letting anybody in early into their room. I get that if people show up early morning but this is not very customer friendly as they insist you should again stop by the desk and yes stand in line twice

Amazing staff! So helpful. Our room was beautifully decorated and the balcony overlooking the beach was truly the highlight of the stay. We can’t wait to return again!

Very friendly and helpful staff and clean and well maintained. However internet was crappy and since it is main means of communication and entertainment, needs attending to now

They were barely occupied and still didn't upgrade me to an ocean view room in which I've always had because I am an owner as well.

I was treated like a princess. And I felt like a princess the whole time I was there. I would highly recommend this place and I hope to be able to visit again soon. Praise Jesus!

Staff were very helpful and friendly, Omar at the front desk is exceptional, a real asset. There were also lots of activities to keep guests entertained.
BUT the exterior of the property needs maintenance and it took A LOT of effort to open the sliding glass door to the patio, which was grungy.
Overall though, really enjoyed my stay.

Rooms well worn, pool conditions overheated and overcrowded, beach area small rockey, expensive, restaurant not very good, no soap, coffee or other starters.

I booked a 3-night stay, last minute, as an "add on" to my timeshare trade, and was placed in the Cheswick Building. It is the only building left to be renovated. It was very very clean, but definitely needed some TLC...carpet needed a deep clean/replaced. But for the price I paid, it served the purpose. I love this resort and visit Morritt's every year - the property and snorkeling is amazing. The staff is INCREDIBLE, as well.

Excellent place to relax and unwind. Loved that it had full cooking facilities in the apartments. Room service wasn't done everyday! Wifi was reliable. Need to have a car given its location. Restaurant prices are exorbitant. Front desk lady was nice but acted smug by claiming she knew better than Google when I had enquired about a nearby bank. The bramch closed 6 months ago but she was overconfident in claiming that she is a local and she knew better!! The views from the room was nice. Will come back!

This location is fabulous it is beautiful and has respect for the ocean it sits on the east end of the island.

Staff at Grand pool were rude. Premier pool allowing non-guests kids in pool and not nothing about it. May think twice about going back.

a little further from the action, but it's close to the dive shop so it works out, love the pool and gym and the room has a nice ocean view and steps away from the beach front

The hotel was very dated. I've stayed in the last year at best western in the U.S. that were nicer than this. No alarm clock, poor access to plugs (on either side of bed, one plug free, behind a table). No USB plugs for convenience. "Key" for the room is on a bracelet like for a theme park. They do not tell you when they place it on you that it is removable. No shampoo, conditioner or lotion amenities. No coffeepot, but not a Keurig maker. It needed ground coffee and filters. Filters seem left over from a prior tenant, but no coffee, sweetener, creamer, etc. The coffeemaker holds 12 cups like a regular machine, but no pot, nor room for a pot under it like normal. No elevator. We only had to lug 45lb luggage up a single flight of stairs in 100 degree in the shade weather. No one ever asked if we were able to do that, just assigned it, and I knew from experience to ask about the elevator. No potholders to use the glass bakeware, or the broiler pan and cookie sheet that were "hidden" in the actual oven, rather than in the long thin cabinet alongside it. Hardly any space in the bathroom to put any toiletries. Trouble with slow draining shower (standing in an inch of dirty water for first shower). Luckily resolved within a couple hours after our call. Food at their $30CI (CI=$1.25US) welcome dinner was poor, cafeteria quality buffet food. Dinner held outside, no fans, a single waiter. Water never refilled. Poor "drink ticket" idea, and you have to get a talk about their resort

I liked the area it was in, i believe it is over priced. Everything is very expensive at the resort.

Curtains were thin and the light shined in and the room was not close to being dark at night. Only one chair that was not that comfortable. The lights were dim even in the kitchen, only one frying pan, no light in the stove, vanity in bathroom was too small, and the room was showing signs of neglect. The adult pool had big chunks of the surface missing. The wait service in the dining room and the grill were very poor, they never asked if your meal was okay or offered any more water the entire time. Steaks were fatty with gristle and very chewy. On Monday at about 7:30pm we were in our room in a state of undressing putting on our swimsuits when a man barged into our room, when I yelled he shut the door. Iputting on our swimsuits when a man barged into our room, when I yelled he shut the door. I got my suit on and went to the door, he was walking away fast and when he saw me he came back and said he was a manager and our room was marked as empty. The next morning I went to the front desk and found out that our room was marked as occupied since Wednesday the week before when we arrived and would be until Saturday. The manager was not in and the woman at the desk said she would talk to him about the incident and we would hear back from him. Later he called and stated it was someone from housekeeping. No reason why he came into our room that late, our room had been made up hours before the incident. He said he was sorry over the phone and offered nothing to try and make it right.

Second time to Morritt’s, this time with our 4yo. He LOVED the pool, the resort is super low-key, and it’s East End so it’s quiet compared to 7 mile beach. There’s always chairs and beach frontage available. The entire east end feels like a private beach. It’s close to some great restaurants, but I’d recommend a rental car if you want to explore from this side of the island.

Needs a deep cleaning. Rooms in building 5 are really outdated and showing their age. Drinks are outrageously expensive $15 for one Pina Colada. Needs room darkening blinds. The welcome party didn’t have free drink.

I like that they had happy hour. I like that you can do your own snorkeling in the beach. It's nothing to do on the weekends and you need a car especially if you staying at this hotel. This hotel would be more enjoyable if they provide shuttle services to things at least certain days or at certain time because everyone doesn't drive. This hotel is more for older people who wants more of a relax low key vacation no party's . They only have 2 places to eat. Pools was great beach was good . I definitely did like that you can walk to a plaza area where they have a market, liquor store and a place where u can get some souvenir type of stuff

We arrived 3 hours early and they were more than accommodating and allowed us an early checkin.

On the quieter end of the island. Grocery store across the street. Rooms have been renovated - clean and modern. About a 50 minute drive to 7 mile beach, about 30 minutes to Rum Point beach. The 3 restaurants onsite are good - breakfast at Davids reasonably priced and good. Sports bar was good. Mimi’s for lunch was nice. Across the street is an Italian restaurant - good. Tukka restaurant was very good - less than 10 min drive.

Loved it.

The beach was a complete disappointment. Unfortunately the water was extremely murky/brown in color. We could not swim there because the water was yucky. Our room was extremely outdated. They didn’t even provide shampoo and/or conditioner. The hot tub in the middle pool seemed dangerously hot. We put our feet in but could not actually sit in it because it was too hot. The ping pong balls were missing the whole trip so we couldn’t play. The check-in person did not seem pleasant which is a bad way to start our vacation.
