It was small hotel, rustic and pretty. Old fashion

Comfortable older property, rooms are spacious, beds very comfortable. Very good value for Seward. Lodge is about 3 miles from Seward harbor on road to Exit Glacier. Very nice hosts.

While this may not be an upscale 5 star hotel, it was still nice, comfortable and clean. It was also cheaper than many other accommodations. The main thing though, was that Tod is so friendly, kind and helpful.

The lodge was built to look like it was there in the frontier days but is actually only about 13 years old. Beautiful interior and helpful staff, which is a husband and wife who live in the building. Location is excellent, being right before the entrance to Exit Glacier in Kenai N.P. Near to Seward .

We had an awesome two night stay here. The bed was by far the best one I slept in on the whole trip. I didn't even want to get out of it in the mornings. It's right off the road to Kenai Fjords National Park, and it's just a few minutes away from downtown Seward. Check in was easy and parking is great. I would absolutely stay here again.

The lodge is quiet and clean and has all the necessary amenities, however the only thing I don’t like is that the mattress and pillow is a bit flat and not bouncy.

No one at front desk unless it’s certain time of day. Bathroom small barely room to stand, gross. Wreaked of mold or mildew and looked like mold staina

Thought I had booked a room in the lodge, which looked very charming, but we got a cabin. The cabin turned out fine. Staff was helpful. Appreciated the coupon for the restaraunt next door.

We stayed in 2 different rooms on our stay(added a night a couple days before). Both rooms were great. The front desk person Todd was very helpful and friendly. I needed to check in super late due to when my flight arrived in Anchorage and they were very accomodating. I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Seward!!

This hotel is a bit outside of town but was very nice.. no complaints would probably stay in the main area of Seward just since there’s a lot of cool bars down there and we wouldn’t need to drive to and from town

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Exit Glacier Lodge in Seward, Alaska. The staff and owners were super friendly and helpful, offering great suggestions. The hotel was clean and quiet. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The towels were soft, fluffy, and had an amazing fabric softener smell.
I would highly recommend it over any of the hotels in Seward. Dinner next door at Salmon Bake was also good.

Came up in July of 2024. Weather was overcast and sprinkled rain temperature around 55. Seward is a very short drive away. The view out front of the lodge was spectacular. Exit Glacier is a short 8 mile drive from the lodge. The owner met us at the front desk everyday and knew both of our names. He was very friendly and knowledgeable about things to do in the area. He gave us a coupon for the neighboring restaurant. Which we went to on our last night there and it was fantastic. Our room was well kept. No cobwebs in the corners or anything like most other places. Smelled great and the bed were super comfortable. Shower water was hot and plentiful. When my wife and i come to Alaska again we will absolutely stay at Exit Glacier Lodge again and you should too.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Exit Glacier Lodge in Seward, Alaska. The staff and owners were super friendly and helpful, offering great suggestions on where to go and what to see in and around the park. The hotel's close proximity to Kenai Fjords National Park is a huge advantage, making it easy to explore the area.
The on-site restaurant, Alaska Salmon Bake, was fantastic. The food was well-prepared, and the service was top-notch. While the restaurant was excellent, it's also nice to know that there are plenty of other dining options and a good grocery store in Seward if needed.
Overall, Exit Glacier Lodge provided a wonderful experience, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
