Exactly what we expected from an Ibis Budget. Fuss free, staff super helpful, great secure car park and perfect location to catch the train into Paris. Also only a 30 minute walk into Fontainebleau.

We stayed during the Olympic Games in August 2024 an the hotel was super busy. The staff were really helpful, room was clean and airconditioned. The breakfast was perfect for this type of hotel. You could not ask for a better experience.

Hotel room was dated and decor was scruffy, worst of all was that the air conditioning was broken and we couldn't get anything done about it because the reception was only manned for certain hours. They moved us to a different room the next day, but they shouldnt have put us in a room with broken aircon in the first place - (no power to the unit). Staff when available were good.

Worst stay ever. Got there at 10pm and nobody was at the front desk. The machine to get the code for my room was not working. The family that we were traveling with got into theirs but no matter who we called, what we did, nobody would answer so my wife and I spent the night in the car, while our kids stayed with the family who did get into their room (horrible inconvenience for both parties). The next morning we discussed this with the front desk and nobody dealt with the issue, saying it was our fault we arrived so late. The rooms themselves were dirty and did not match the pictures. No hot water in the shower and bathroom smelled of pee. We also had to pay for breakfast, which was the only ok thing about this hotel.

This was the most disgusting and unprofessional hotel stay that we've ever experienced. The listing says there is 24/7 front desk service, non-smoking rooms, working AC, and hotel service. Instead, we never saw anyone tending the front desk until the day we checked out (and we stayed for 3 nights), our non-smoking room reeked of cigarettes, the AC never worked, and there was no hotel service so we never had clean towels or extra toilet paper (and we couldn't get them ourselves because there was no one at the front desk). In addition to the cigarettes smell, the room itself was not clean, and it made us feel very uncomfortable going to sleep every night. This hotel added an extra stressor to our trip, and it was not worth it. We recommend paying for a different hotel nearby. If we could rate this place 0 stars then we would.

The hotel is not far from the train station. But there are few restaurants near (<500m). The check-in was done by a machine using the confirmation number. Therefore, if you need assistance, it would be quite difficult without phone. The check-out was not clear how to do. The room was sufficiently large for me. The drainage of the shower was not good. There was no bath mat. There was no cup, no pot, no refrigerator. The breakfast was quite simple (no eggs for example). I was visiting Château de Fontainebleau before the check-out and returned the hotel just before noon. The room password issued for me did not work anymore at that time, but fortunately a hotel guy helped me to issue a new password to enter the room. However, after 5-min later, the guy disappeared, and nobody was in the reception area. Therefore, it could be expected something difficult situations if something would happen like me. I was just lucky. I think "budget" means no body can help you if you don't have phone.

It was a two night stay to visit Fontainbleau Chateau and the city of Fontainbleau. The chateau was well worth the visit but not the Chateau gardens which are in need of alot of work.

The check-in in person can only be done during restricted hours. When we arrived we have the code for the self-check in but the information regarding our reservation was wrong (1 person less). So we had to leave and come back later to get the person at the reception. Apart from that, the hotel was good for a budget hotel. The beds were a bit uncomfortable, but for a budget hotel it was fine really. There was also only 1 towel (big) per person (no small towel). The system with a code for entering the room is very handy.

Looking in need of a bit of redecoration but not that bad

The code sent by expedia did not work at the kiosk and we had to get checked in by the attendant. They were attentive and check in was quick. Don't expect any amenities in the room as there were just paper cups.
It was fine for a one night sleep over as we transiting through France

It is not that cozy hotel. Can’t open the window, no water boiling pot. But it is clean and in okay condition.

Room was filthy on arrival - bed had been slept in even though made up. Stained toilet and shower (not pleasant) dirt visible everywhere - can't have been cleaned for months. Furniture and furnishings severely damaged. Receptionist had no other room available and did give the room a clean and change bedding. Masks worn and alcohol gel and tape for a one way on the entrance, tables off limits in breakfast room - sounds good but shared stairway (not one way) then entering corridor - the smell was awful - an open window might have helped and certainly made it less COVID (and any other viral or bacterial opportunist infection) friendly. Again receptionist did try. if there had been anywhere else available for the one night - I would not have stayed! Never again. Have photos but can't upload atm.

No staff present most of the time, everything automated. Check out is 1 hour before check in, so not sure how well the rooms are cleaned for the next guests.
Room smelt a bit stale, like cigarettes. Bathroom was musty and facilities very stained. Hairs on the towel, sheets kept coming off the duvet and the mattress (not so nice during Covid to know everyone’s touching the mattress directly). Pillows really thin and lumpy, mattress a bit better but still woke up with bad back.
Good location next to the train station and carrefour.
Furniture pretty modern, WiFi worked and was free.
Wouldn’t stay here again, would prefer camping, but works for good location, tight budget, and no back problems.

Just a walk thru the lovely back gardens to Fontainebleau palace (half hour). There is a big supermart next to the hotel. Free parking and spacious room.

Good hotel for the money. Front desk hours a drawback to leaving luggage in secure area on the day of departure.

We can stay there at low prices, but there is nothing else to make a note.
