Totally beautiful cabin in a forest . Well appointed and comfortable. Great kitchen and living room and bedrooms. Close to entrance to Glacier National Park. It costs a bit more but well worth it. The owners take immaculate care to make this a great place to stay.

We stayed at the Reclusive Moose Cabins for 3 nights. We enjoyed every moment at the cabin. It’s very clean and cozy. The host/owner greeted us at the cabin upon arrival and checked in with us the first night via text to make sure we settled in and if anything we needed. He was very responsive throughout communication. Highly recommended this place. The kitchen is fully equipped. The cabin also has bear spray available. If you happen to use it and then just need to buy a new one for replacement. Bear spray is a non return item if you purchased at the store. If you stay at here, don’t buy bear spray up front. Take the ones from the cabin. We brought them with us on hiking trails and did not need to use it. That saved us $40 from buying it at the store.

Beautiful place! Secluded and peaceful but a short drive to food, shops and of course amazing nature experiences. Very comfortable beds and well stocked kitchen. Friendly, communicative hosts. We had a wonderful time!

The conditions and decorations are beautiful, no complaints. The amenities are also in good conditions, so we were able to cook our meals and eat healthy everyday. It is 20 mins to the west glacier entrance and 20 mins to the groceries in the opposite direction. We end up driving at least a couple of hours everyday, i wish our driving can be less.

Our stay in the Bear Cabin was phenomenal. There are four cabins on this property, but the layout and location of each cabin allows for complete privacy. They are located in a beautiful wooded area that is both peaceful and quaint. The cabin itself is extremely cozy with comfortable beds, bedding and a perfect amount of space for a getaway near Glacier National Park. The owner is beyond pleasant, welcoming and helpful arranging for our last minute booking and arrival. I highly recommend this property!!

We spent 3 Days in Glacier and our cabin at the Reclusive Moose was perfect. The owners are fantastic. The cabins offer everything our family needed. Its a 5 min drive to the West Entrance of Glacier National Park and a quick 10 min. Drive into to downtown Columbia Falls. If we return to this area we will definetly stay here again.

We really enjoyed staying at this cabin. It’s the perfect location between Glacier National Park and the local town. The restaurants in town are nothing to speak of so we were very happy with the availability of the stocked kitchen (not groceries but everything else you need to cook). We also enjoyed the outside fire pit. The only negative was the shower is really small. The bed was comfortable as was the living area. The host was great and made sure we enjoyed our stay. Communication was great! This place was amazing and we highly recommend it.

It was such a nice quiet place to enjoy nature!! It is a short drive from town, but that was one of our favorite parts of the stay. The cabin was very well equipped in the kitchen and it was definitely a great spot to be able to make a meal and enjoy the outdoors. It was a bit smaller than expected, but for only two of us it was fine. I think it would probably be a bit tight for 4 people.

We liked the wooded setting and location near Glacier National Park, Area was quiet and the cabin was comfortable. Bedrooms were comfortable though there was room for little else beside beds and nightstands. Living area with kitchen was great. Kitchen included all the pots, pans, plates, etc we needed. Bathroom was small but adequate.

The cabin was very clean and hosts did a great job with communication and providing good information about Glaicer and other activities. Even provided Bear spray so we owuld not need to purchase. Only complaint is that cabin is a bit cramped-no eating table. All else was great.

The Reclusive Moose cabins are wonderful! The owners have truly thought of everything you could need from all the towels and linens to citronella candles on the front porch. The cabins here are truly hidden gems and the perfect place to come home to after some long days in Glacier. Will definitely be back!!

Had a great time at the Reclusive Moose. . . . the area is closest to the Apgar Visitor Center for Glacier. However, the cabins are centrally located and an easy drive to the West Glacier and East Glacier center. One downside was the internet- it did work, but it was slow. I realize that most dont go on vacation to work; however, I did need to get some work done. The owner provided a few workarounds. The cabin owners were always friendly and responsive- I would recommend staying here!

Overall the cabin was lovely and it had all the small little items you would need to enjoy your stay. As for comfort I would recommend updating the beds and/or pillow toppers to make the beds easier to sleep in. Also a couch that may off more comfort over a futon. Thank you for our stay your grounds are amazing!

It woiuld be helpful if each bedroom had a mirror to accomodate multiple people getting ready (hair, makeup, etc.) at once. Other than that, the place was perfect!

This is one of the most fantastic vacation spots I have been to in my life. My family absolutely loved the location and the amenities. We stayed at the cabin over Christmas and the setting could not have been more perfect. I would highly recommend to all my friends and family.

This place was great! Neat little cabin all to yourself with two rooms, a living room and a kitchen. Quiet area and close to Glacier. Free bike rentals and a BBQ area to use.
