Property is ok, a little outdated. Pool location is very unnapealing, right at the front entrance next to reception

The hotel is situated hidden from the sounds of the town. But short distanse with frequent multivans. It was so nice to come to this oasis, after a day of traveling or a day in town. Clean room and pool. Verry serviceminded, kindly and helpfull staff. Good value for money!

The stuff are very nice and friendly. Our front door lock just kept breaking it needs to be replace. They are helping us right away and the place is small but very clean. The blanket is very thick and the bed hurts our back too firm but all in all it’s good experience.

I was there for 3 nights and only received 2 6oz bottles of water. I had to walk a very long way to office to get drinking water. The bathroom had a foul stench of urine coming up from the bathroom floor drain. It was in a location with no restaurants close by and the restaurant on site had limited choices. The pool was beautiful but had only 4 chairs and the pool was only about 2 meters deep.

We enjoyed our two night stay at Southwind. Great for a stop over. One things they can improve on is door locks - our door locks from the outside but wouldn’t lock once we were inside for the night.

I stayed here for a week and it was perfect for vacation. It was clean, breakfast was ok, the staff were nice and the room was perfect. Service was excellent. I'm happy with my stay!

far from everything. rooms weren't cleaned despite us asking for them to be. toilets were less than functional. staff was indifferent. the rooms were a decent size and AC worked well (although it was pretty loud). probably wouldn't stay here again. even if it was cheap.

Cosy and compact size hotel. Small and shallow pool. Poolchairs only for 4 persons on the pool. No safety boxes in rooms. Limited breakfast. Awful coffee. Friendly staff

The staff were extremely friendly. The restaurant at the hotel, Fat Tony's, had delicious food. They had a nice pool that didn't get very crowded. Very convenient to airport. Great place to stay whether you're traveling with family or friends.

Staffs are very nice and very helpful. Facilities are very clean, the room is small but very comfortable, the pool is very clean, breakfast is just very limited and not much selections, very near to Robinson’s Mall. The room should have at least small fridge to keep your drinks cold.
Regrets: No hotel transportation at the airport when we arrived. Tourist Security Police help us and contacted the hotel, and responded that we didn’t make arrangement with them for pick up though we have a copy of my email sent to them June 6, 2018, 8 months before arrival. This was very frustrating that they didn’t have available driver. We ended up taking a private vehicle and paid extra $10. All contact numbers to the hotel on website are not updated, email address & phone numbers. I brought this out to the front desk and was not even aware of what was on their website.

Was good.Resonable prices, good staff

It was alright, probably best for non-business trips since there is a swimming pool (seems shallow enough for kids). Each room was a stand-alone unit in an open area, with only a sliding glass door as your line of security. It's not soundproof so when other guests drunkenly stumble in the middle of the night, you are sure to hear them. There is Wi-Fi in the room and the common area. However, this is only fast at around 2:00 or 3:00 in the morning.

The hotel was nice but i think management can do better. We arrived early but checked in late due to lack of staff. The front desk was also the one assisting the guests to their room.

The resort was a surprisingly comfortable stay given the low cost per night. Sheets and towels were clean, the airconditioner worked well, and the bathroom had a well-functioning toilet and heater. All of the things you would expect in a hotel room were present. The staff were attentive in terms of cleaning the room, and knowledgeable and willing to help in arranging transportation and tours - this was also more convenient due to the central location of the hotel making it accessible to tricycles. Only minor problems were present in terms of the facilities; slow draining shower in one of the bathrooms, and door locks which were annoying to open and close. Portions of the included breakfast were just sufficient, but still appetizing. All in all, I would stay here again the next time I return to Puerto Princesa.

We had a great stay. The room was very clean and spacious as well as the CR. Costumer service was commendable. Pool was nice and the location was very relaxing. Will definitely recommend this to my friends who plan to go to Puerto Princesa.

Comfortable hotel with nice pool. Poor free breakfast options and no free tea in room, only coffee. Hotel wanted to charge me for 1 tea bag at the rate of buying a whole box at the supermarket.Overall, comfortable stay and clean rooms.

The hotel is fine as long as they realize they are not a 5 star hotel and keep their prices modest. The food is excellent and the service is as well. The pool is nice but a bit deceptive. It's not big and half is very shallow leaving a small portion for adults. They tend to charge for everything including ice. I find that an embarrassment for them. To use your room refrigerator there is a 200 Pecos per day charge. The relationship between the kitchen and hotel is odd. If you want to charge your dinner to your room there is a 10% fee. There is a bit of a long walk to the street and in the end if you want to charge your incidentals to you card they will drive you to a different location where they have a credit card terminal. The rooms are nice. The mattress excellent, the comforter thick, the pillows are also very nice. Bring your own soaps because what they provide is not any good

For family of three, this hotel is at a good price, swimming pool is available, breakfast is ok, the motel is close to the supermarket, and due to traffic is a10min drive to city. When visiting the relatives, will stay there again.

This hotel is new, clean with a great size pool but the good part stops there.
1. Breakfast must be pre-booked by 6pm the day before at a set time (crazy for people on holidays). Only once was the bill correct in 6 days.It is not open for lunch forcing you to go elsewhere
2. In 6 days the pool was available twice. It was out of action for 3 days because the pool expert!!! did not put in chlorine just kept adding acid even though us dumb white men kept telling him. After that they did their pool cleaning and chemical additives and closed the pool from 6am to 12 noon instead of doing at night when paying customers don't need to swim
3. There is no mini bar in the rooms just one full size fridge at reception and no waitress to provide service, only the receptionist who never got off her backside once ie self service only
4. The ceiling fans in the reception and dining area did not work when we arrived and still not working when we left. They were to be under maintenance. Just too lazy to arrange to be fixed. Hence a million flies and mosquitoes at feed time
5. Twice we all left the hotel to find a cold drink because the receptionist turned off the mini bar fridge following brown outs to reduce load on generator (I guess) but forget to turn back on. Remember this is the only fridge in the hotel.

The room was small, clean, and the place is still new. The staff are friendly and helpful. The only reason why I did not give it a higher rating is because the toilet room does not have an exhaust/fanning system, the towel holder is vey high (made for 6” person). Also, very limited housekeeping done and every tricyle or van costs money. They should have a free shuttle to at least one popular resto in Palawan as their restaurant menu is very limited (eg. no crocodile sisig or any seafood).
