It was really cozy at the Forest Lodge. While the weather was cool and rainy, the ambience of the place and the courtesy of the staff warms the heart. It's an experience that our family would always want to come back to.

The place was really cozy. The ambiance of the place, while the weather is cold & rainy, warms the heart. The staff were all courteous and welcoming. Our stay was really relaxing.

Rooms need renovation.

Was very comfortable room , high quality bedding
4.1
Clean facility, you still get the feel of Baguio when you stay at this property.
4.1
Stayed at 2 rooms. Was very happy until upon check out we were told we ate some of their food at the room counter. This is impossible because we do not eat processed foods. Lesson learned. Please check the inventory upon arrival so that we will not be charged incorrectly.
4.1
It was a good stay except for the toilet that smells like sewage. We switched on the exhaust 24 hours, otherwise, the whole room will smell like sewage.
Nice staff, very accommodating.
4.1
Great property and comfortable stay for the price. Equal in quality to the Manor next door at half the price.
4.1
The location was open, not cogested like the rest of Baguio. A legacy from when the area was run by the US military when it was Camp John Hay.
4.1
Perfect location Clean and friendly staff
4.1
Front desk was very helpful.
4.1
Nice place to stay, but do not book a room on the backside by the parking lot. Way too much noise. Also, the sound from the venues Catt upwards.
4.1
The room was hot given the weather condition. There's no air conditioning, only ceiling fan. They should have peovided a cooling fan. The temperature improved at dawn.

Camp John Hay has a wonderful history. My hotel is one of 3 on the site.
My room had a balcony that faced due east with the sun greeting me every morning at 6am ish. Best part of the day.
4.1
Nice location. Near shopping center

Kinda old and dirty. When we check in and check we waited for long. Not a friendly guest. The big deal is the glass in the restroom there is a dead cockroach. I will never come back.

The price for 1 night was $130-150CAD which is way too overpriced at that time and the breakfast was not free. I’ve been to great and luxurious hotels and clearly this ain’t it. Sure, the staff there was great and professional but atleast adjust your prices - just my honest opinion.

Quiet getaway

Large parking area easy to find and safe..

What an awesome find! I wasn’t familiar with the area or location and pleasantly surprised with the hotel and location. Imagine dealing with traffic and only find a hotel in nature with modern conveniences and incredible staff.
The rooms are extremely large, beds are comfortable, location is perfect and nature surrounds you without the hustle and bustle of city streets.
4.1
It is a very upscale hotel in a beautiful setting. The room was large with comfortable beds, a hair dryer and great minibar.
There was no breakfast included (which is common in a lot of the Philippine hotels) and the prices for food were a bit high in the restaurant.
It was much more expensive than some of the city Center hotels but not bad for the lovely surroundings, proximity to the airport and the size of the rooms.

The hotel is now starting to show its age. Even so the staff and service were excellent

The hotel is in a safe, clean place, surrounded by a pine forest. It's very quiet with very well-trained staff.

Very nice place excellent service

The room itself is well appointed. However, the bathroom is very old (Room 332). It’s the type you need rubber slippers to take a bath because the tiles are so old. Also the faucets don’t work well.
4.1
Camp John Hay is a class act. The hotel itself is a bit outdated but they are working on that. It is however immaculately clean!
The grounds and surroundings are stunning and there is so much to do in the area.
We loved it and will definitely go back.
4.1
No aircondition in the room. Its a cold area of the Phillippines but id still like the opportunity for colder air rather than opening the window.
4.1
Camp John Hay is a very nice area to visit.

Beds were hard and rooms looked old!
