First I would like to say the staff is extremely nice and helpful and they work hard to make you happy. Many meals are served and food variety is very rich. Our stay at Alisa Cruise was disappointing for two main reasons. First, the overall experience is extremely touristic and industrial. All activities they offer end up being very crowded as you do the same activities as at least another dozen boats. They took us to a beach which was so tiny and busy and we preferred going back to the tiny pool on the boat rather than staying. At night all ships stop and you realise you are surrounded by over 12 boats and hear their party music and all that… We imagined a more quiet experience. The other thing is the boat itself. Condition isn’t great, the rooms are not really clean (dirty bedsheets etc), some things are just broken, missing blind on the bathroom door prevented privacy, we had empty soap containers, etc… The staff often evacuates the rubbish from the kitchen through the hall and the floor gets really messy, even when your bags are there (we were told to take the bags out of the room two hours prior we disembarked). We booked two connecting rooms and payed over 700 USD. We felt this is an extreme overcharge for what we got. I would look for other alternatives.

The staffs were really kind and passionate. Especially Nancy Hoa helped me manage my schedule. The view was nice, and the programs were unique.

Alisa cruise was a wonderful experience! The staff was kind snd very fun, while halong bay was a beautiful. The food on board was very good. I had a great help from Nancy to coordinate everything between booking and the car for pick up, and our guide Thuy was very nice and insightful. A must try experience.

First, there are 2 cruises: Luxury which can be compared to coach class on an airline and Premier which is like business class. The Alisa vessels use a lot of dark wood in the interior so they are not as bright as regular cruuse vessels. The food was good but be very aware that they are very time regimented and stick to their time schedule for meals and all activities. Matresses were quite stiff compared to Anerican-based cruise ships. Otherwise, we had a good time on our 2 night cruise (most of the passengers are there only for 1 night and we were the only Americans on that sailing...as well as opting for the 2 night package).

Overall quite good cruise. There was a group of chinese tourist on our boat and so most of the instruction was given by their tour guide in chinese, including spring roll class and tour of the cave, hence we did not understand most of the tour and events on the boat unfortunately and was not able to enjoy it to be best we could like the last time I did the tour with a different company where all the passenger was English speaking. Also, it didn't go to the fishing village where the local people are, as I don't recall seeing that. The activity is a little bit lacking, but if you like relax with nothing much to do then this is the right cruise. Otherwise it would have been a nice 2d1n event. The Rep that helped with the booking, Nancy, was great though and she speaks English and responded super fast, making sure we are booked on the car and the cruise.
