Room was like a sauna. The air con didn’t work, hotel called an engineer to fix it whose solution was to situate the air con unit in the middle of our room which didn’t fix the problem and left us living in a building site for the weekend. Such a shame, the building and room could have been beautiful but were spoilt by the temperature and lack of simple amenities like coffee, shower gel.

Small and cozy Hotel.

Spacious and clean. Great location in old town, right by the freedom statue. Many good restaurant options around the corner, easy access to buses and taxis. The tv didn't work (the staff on duty couldn't fix it and didn't seem to hand it over to someone who could). And unfortunately there were loud street musicians outside at night – the hotel has done all it can with good windows and thick curtains, but if you're sensitive to loud music it's don't pick a room facing the square. I would have expected that in the summertime given the location, but why would street musicians with loud speakers be out all on their own on a rainy night in late October?

Perfect location a a nice hotel

It is a lovely hotel in the old town. Perfect location. I have really good hearing and I am very sensitive to noise. I thought I could hear the faint sound of music from a bar...sure enough, there is a bar next door. This wouldn't stop me from staying there but I did hear it, one morning to 5 a.m.

The location is good, but the room was claustrophobic, with no windows. The mattress was confortable but the bat was bad: unconfortable, shower and tab with little pressure. I was unlucky, got late to the hotel, and due to an issue with the reservation, I left with no possibility to have dinner anywhere but McDonalds. Be aware that taxis can not get tobthe hitel and you have to do a couple of hundred yards pushing your carry ons.

Lovely hotel! Spotless. Luxurious. Quiet. Comfortable and smack in the middle of old town, buzzing right outside the door. (Without disturbing in the rooms) Highest mark!

Super in the middle of the old Town

The hotel is beautifully designed, and is located perfectly for the old town. If you are fortunate enough to get a room overlooking the square it’s a great spot. Rooms are very well decorated and spacious enough. The only downside was the noise made by the air conditioning, especially as it wasn’t even particularly effective in cooling the room down.

Great location (a little noisy but it’s a lively city). Lovely room at front of hotel. Great staff

Very centrally located in the Old town of Riga, it is ideal base for travellers who like to explore everything on foot.
The rooms were spacious and comfortable and nicely decorated.
Staff were very friendly and polite. There was a slightly sleepy waiter one morning at breakfast, but otherwise very attentive.
Breakfast options were good, with both a self-serve and a table service hot dish part.

This is definitely a good hotel that is very well-located in the very center of Riga. The rooms are very clean and equipped with a comfortable bed. The airconditioning functions quite well. The breakfast and especially the a la carte option is very good and fresh. On the other hand, there are some issues prohibiting the hotel from being a luxury/high-end hotel, as promoted. First, the hotel lobby is very small. This and the absence of a desk in room make the hotel less convenient for business travellers and those who want to relax in a luxurious lobby after a long day. Second, in-room toiletries are very basic, limited and not of high quality. Third, reception staff are not very welcoming. All this makes the hotel rather a mid-range one, and not a high-end hotel

Amazing stay in Riga! Definitely recommend and worth the money to book this accommodation. I will definitely be back to staying here in the future. It is conveniently located in the heart of the Old Town. If you’re a solo traveler and are wanting some place safe and comfortable and inviting this is the place. I had no second thoughts about my safety or security.
Staff was amazing and accommodating, I don’t have any complaints or criticisms for the hotels services or staff.
Everything was perfect!

Hotel looks amazing and is very clean in excellent location at heart of old town. Also service is great. Best part was however breakfast where you can choose one hot serving from ala carte list. Very delicious indeed. Highly recommended.

They organized early breakfast fo us with great polite, because we leaved the hotel in the morning before breakfast. Great job.

Front desk personnel is amazing and helpful. Irina and her colleagues are one of the hotel’s highlights .The location is simply the best one in town. - Hotel is architecturally beautiful and is decorated with carefully thought detail. Breakfast is delicious and they packed us one to go on our departure day. Very nice room with an adequate bathroom. A few improvements could be made: The A/C is noisy and the cleaning service is below capacity to handle all the rooms in a timely fashion. All in all, we would totally return and stay in the property.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating, the hotel is very classy and beautiful inside located right in the old town. The hotel is a bit narrow which is okay, and the shower water sometimes would seep onto the the floor.

Old, cheesy, depressing. Very different in person versus the pictures shown.
I had to leave the property after 30 min of my arrival. Of course I lost my money spent in my reservation but it was my decision. I would like to make very clear that this opinion is MY PERSONAL POINT OF VIEW as a result of my personal taste.

This is an excellent boutique hotel in the centre of the old town. It is well placed, with easy access to the sights, restaurants, bars, and live music.
The hotel is beautifully decorated and rooms and public areas demonstrate a high level of attention to detail, even down to the breakfast crockery. It felt very luxurious.
My room had a view of the square, which was lovely and allowed me to watch the sunset over the city every night.
The room was very well decorated and was also modern, with lots of charging points next to the bed. The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless, with an excellent shower. It was perfect.
Breakfast was plentiful and delicious, with lots of cold and hot- cooked to order - options. There were also home made cakes and biscuits daily.
I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough; it was truly fabulous and I hope to return soon.
Finally, please do take up the offer of an airport/hotel transfer. The driver who collected me waited for over an hour at the airport as my flight was delayed - this rarely happens. He was also an excellent advertisement for the city, pointing out places of interest and talking about the city history and culture. It was worth every penny.

Well-located hotel on a quiet side-street leading to the main street and town square. Good car parking facilities. Whilst the reception staff throughout our stay were a little underwhelming, the room size was good, with a huge bathroom and whirlpool bath. Breakfast options were plentiful and varied (just wish the staff had smiled at some point).

I cannot begin to describe how awful our check in experience was. We are half way through our European trip and after very positive experiences, this was by far the worst check in experience of not only this trip but I have ever experienced in my life. We were met by someone who seemed to have a problem with us from the beginning. After asking us for passport and a few minutes of pure silence, I briefly and politely let him know that we have VIP status to which he replied that it is not accepted or recognized at this hotel. I showed him my confirmation and explained that we specifically chose this hotel because of our Platinum VIP status. He said that they only accept Radisson Status. He then started raising his voice and lecturing us. I told him that I didn’t wish to argue with him and to kindly give us our room keys. Then to our horror he looked at my husband and I and said ONE BED FOR YOU TWO? This was load enough for everyone in the lobby to stare at us. He obviously had a problem with a gay couple staying at the hotel. I asked him his name and went up to the room. He later called the room and said he would give us an upgrade our second night. I declined and said I would take up our experience directly with Hotels.com. I’m not sure if he realized his poor behavior, was worried about being reported or was talked to by a colleague or another guest. I do not want nor accept an upgrade but I do not like to be scolded and humiliated in public.
