My husband and I were here for our anniversary. Also our first visit to Cuba! The house is not located in Havana which was fine with me! The staff here is very friendly and helpful. They will take great care of you. Shout out to Adrian, Ivan, and Jennifer! A/C in room and we had the king room with shower too. Breakfast is good if you’re a morning eater. They will literally take your order each day. Go to Pazillo for cocktails, food, and music that you can walk to. Also visit As Cafe for local food. If you are in Havana go to Maximo. We ate there many times. Get the shrimp in garlic sauce. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it! We didn’t get to experience the rooftop bar because we were out so next time.

The staff was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The attentiveness of the staff did not go un-noticed. I would definitely stay there again, if I ever returned. The facilities are exactly as pictured.

The place is located in a residential area, but it is full of little surprises like boutique restaurants and other places to explore. We really enjoyed that. I would say that outside of old Havana this neighborhood is a great one to be in if you really want a taste of Cuban life. We didn’t feel unsafe at all at any times walking even in the damn lighting around the area. The staff at the hotel were extremely wonderful. From the manager, to the driver, and all of the receptionist and support people (the cook, the security, the cleaners) - to we met them all. It’s a foreign owned entity at the owner lives local and has for years and you can tell he takes pride in his place. Even the sheets smelled great. Every time we got into them. The art on the walls with Marc Anthony delighted us. So many great little touches that made all the difference. And I can’t shout out the staff enough. It feels like a small little family and we love that about it. The wifi was a little shotty but it’s because of the country and the infrastructure. We didn’t get to enjoy the roof and the bar because of the weather, but would recommend this place to others, even though the price is quite high comfortably. We were very pleased with our stay.

Have had the benefit of traveling Five continents. Boutique Vedado 5tay8 on the top ten list, accommodations and hospitality of staff.
Driving up to the Boutique Vedado, the area around it might give you second thoughts - but don't let it deceive you - Boutique Vedado 5tay8 - Great Stay

Nice big room but could be used better. Full dining area but room service not available (was told it would be a problem when restaurant was full - but may be because they were very busy). Anyway - dining half of room not used at all.
Location is out of the way but not too bad. Close to sea but there is no beach anywhere near.
Good staff.

No instructions to operate the safe. 2 nails still in the wall. TV remote sometimes transmits the wrong signal. Mattresses are totally shot - more than a bit hammock shaped. Significant lower back pain several times per night. High school across the street. Looks like an old jail. Rooster across the corner. Drug dealers and beggars right down the street, next to the big hotel. At breakfast: served a fruit smoothy. Asked where the ice came from. Lies told about safety. 22 hours later, water poisoning. Then, a series of denials, delays, and discussions (lies) with, many staff. No on-site filtration going on. Ice is delivered from a large local company in shockingly cheap thin plastic generic shopping bags. Grab the handles of the bag, tie a knot, and hope for the best. Hotel staff make no sanitary effort regarding ice storage/handling. Bags are stored in a little freezer, with a platter of (sometimes) dirty dishes sitting on top. No dedicated ice scoop. No gloves to handle ice - nothing. Outdoor, all day. Conversations with staff were a joke. Suggested that there is no PROOF I was poisoned. Their idea of compensation: free dinner, in their restaurant - where I was poisoned. As if I could eat.
If this happens to you, get them to immediately agree on an amount for your refund - and to process it BEFORE you leave/check out. If you let them put you off, that the manager has to 'talk with the owners first', kiss it goodbye. Once you leave the premises, you are dead to them.

The staff was incredibly friendly and warm...as non-native Spanish speakers, we thought that we might have problems at a smaller boutique hotel, but Adel and his staff were very fluent but more importantly, always willing to help us with whatever we needed / wanted.
Highly recommend for any guest

This place is the best you can imagine to stand by in Havana; private business with a 5+ customer service and art design with great breakfast, quiet and climate meeting room and two bars with the best Cuban drinks. I’m cuban and after a decade outside the country these people treat me good and worth the money !!!

My client thoroughly enjoyed staying at your property. When they posted a video of their room, I was really impressed! He stated the staff & property owner were very hospitable.

Highly recommend this hotel! The staff is incredibly friendly, helpful and well mannered. The beds are sheets are very comfortable. Clean and nice too! I've already stayed two times here and would go back again!

We reserved two rooms for three adults in April. The property itself is wonderful, with comfortable rooms, a decent breakfast, and very interesting decor. The rooftop lounge was very nice too. All the staff was pleasant and helpful. The only downside was the location. The local area was not great for exploring Havana and required a cab ride to go anywhere.

Very friendly and willing to help with anything.

An very good quality hotel. Very clean staff well trained and attentive. Food was very good. A couple of very nice places to eat and drink nearby particularly bar palaza a couple f blocks away. A little away from old Havana but only a 10cuc taxi ride.

I’ve been traveling to Cuba for business at least once a month...I’m so glad I found my new home from home at vedado.. impecable service..
and rooms are second to none in Havana
Big city luxury and style in a boutique environment .. great job!! See you soon

Everything was excellent accept for the location. I blame Expedia for being deceiving. This is nowhere near anywhere in Havana and even though it’s losted as vedado it is maybe it’s outskirts. It costs 15$ every time you want to leave the hotel so in my case add at least $60 a day to your stay.
4.6
Fairly newly restored property that's a cut above many. Plus points are that it's not a big hotel full of tourists and boutique hotel describes it well. The staff here were very amenable and especially helpful. The area around is untouristed but look and you'll find a restaurant as close as 100m. Within 300m there are two more very good restaurants.
4.6
Modern hotel and very clean. I will go back again!
4.6
This new hotel is off the beaten path, but close enough to the action to make it worth the extra few minutes of walking into the main city. The staff was helpful, friendly and really interesting. This is one of the few private hotels in Havana that isn't a Casa Particular.
4.6
There is nothing Negative I can think about this hotel.. just outstanding.... do not doubt making a reservation.
Dont forget to leave some time for a cocktail at the upstairs terrace. Breakfast is perfect also!

Hotel staff are excellent & have good training.
The hotel is clean with adequate facilities.
4.6
The hotel was absolutely beautiful with the most picturesque view from the rooftop terrace. The helpful and friendly staff tended to every need and the daily breakfast was a treat. This hotel is in Vedado which is a 3 min walk to the Malecón and a 12 min drive to old Havana. I would definitely revisit this hotel.

Nice hotel clean and comfortable, like the welcome drink
