Dated (1970's decor - everything works!) near the centre of Cairo; 2 mins walk from the Egyptian Museum/ Metro.
Friendly staff and close to several tour operators who will take you on day trips - if required.
No evening meal in the restaurant - though coffee house on site, and several restaurant's nearby

If you are looking for a prime location while visiting Cairo this is the place. Nice breakfast. Friendly staff.
2.0
Good lacation, good service, bad breakfast, a little bit noisy in night.
3.0
Furniture is outdated and in need of repair, a male at the reception area is very unhelpful gives the wrong information, The elevator on the 10th floor down button does not work prepare to wait at least five minutes to go down.
House cleaning staff are excellent, Great location

This hotel is quite central to many attractions and dining options. Most places are within a 15 min radius. The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable about the city. We started only one night so can’t comment on the housekeeping. The breakfast was not great but good.
The only reason I gave this hotel a three star is the false advertisement on the hotel main image. I booked it thinking I’ll be able to see the Nile river. When I showed the photo on the site, they said I can see this from many rooftops in the city but not this hotel. That was a disappointment.

Beautiful hotel, conveniently located. Very clean rooms . Friendly and helpful staff.

Very convenient location, close to all major attractions, very nice staff. One day we had to go on a trip very early before restaurant was open and we asked them if they could give us some food because everything was still closed around and they gave us plenty to eat
Unfortunately conditions of the hotel is so so, beds are not comfortable, some furniture is broken and a/c didn’t work properly. Also bathroom has black mold on the sealing

The hotel was great, the only thing was that it was too noisy, it should have a better quality of windows. Besides that everything was very good.

Incredible and very helpful staffs. Outdated property. Most of the time washroom was not functional. In shower or sink water not drain properly its back up water everywhere.
Breakfast was delicious and variety each day. Closer to main attractions. Overall its a good place for short stay
2.0
We booked this hotel for one night due to location across the street of the Egyptian museum. It was a pleasant stay due to responsive staff, good breakfast and location.

decent hotel for out and about people

Close to museum. Nice hotel with nice breakfast included. Dinner price is also reasonable. Room is very roomy and comfortable. However they did not have cloth hangers in the room. It took us several times to request and finally someone brought us just three. Also street noise at night can be troublesome for some people.

Very nice.

Location is perfect for sightseeing, ATMs are 400 feet away (cheaper than the airport), room was clean and wonderful, bed was very comfortable, A/C was cold, staff were very friendly, and the breakfast had a wide selection. I most definitely staying there when I return to Cairo next year.
And there is a convenience store open 24/7 within 500 feet.
Most tour companies will pick you up from this hotel.

The Hotel was ok. I was led to belive when booking this hotel that there was free Wi-Fi. The WiFi is only available at the reception area and is very slow and at times unavailable. Luckily I purchased a local SIM card at the airport which sufficed but again that fluctuated between 3G and 4G the best I got was 1.8 mbs

Very clean hotel with a great attention to details,
specially Amina from the cleaning crew, very friendly staff, great breakfast and excellent location. This is my second time at this hotel, and I will be back again.

Hotel is a good value for the price. Conveniently located across the street from the Egyptian Museum and Sadat metro stop. Breakfast buffet was good. Spacious rooms. AC barely sufficient. Staff helpful. Check in/out very easy.

Very good location of the hotel. Walking distance to most attractions in Cairo. Breakfast was good.
The hotel really needs renovation. Missing a fitness center.

I didn't like wifi, not enought channel to watch sports, the breakfast is simple.not quite. I think it needs sounds proof windows i lot traffic noise and the hotel infront made big patty outside and the music is loud.i understood the hotel can control.location is good and safety. The guys were friendly.
2.5
Location is best part of hotel - the hotel itself is dated but the rooms were large and clean with decent A/C. No bar in the hotel but there are plenty of bars across the road in other hotels
Breakfast was fine and even the noise which others have moaned about from the outside traffic was not a big issue

Close to lots of shopping, high rise, plenty of security and safe - no hidden fees, good breakfast

Friendly staff. Lots of shops and restaurants and river Nile walking distance.

We didn’t like the smell of cigarettes smoke.

Great location and good buffet breakfast. Rooms are nice but need better windows to block the traffic noises.

Were given free upgrade to suite, 14th floor, with balcony and amazing view over the museum, Tahrir Square, the Nile.
Suite is spacious and decotated in retro style.
Reception staff helpful, helped with problem we had.
Breakfast plentiful, quite tasty.
Excellent location across museum, some small grocery shops and exchange shops a few steps away). About 5 minutes in foot there's a long busy shopping street (for locals) that sort of ends at a square with many cafes and some local ,cheap, and clean shawarma/falafel places). Metro station across Hotel.
Also a restaurant with some yummy European dishes inside hotel, serves until 23:00.
Internet was quite good.
However, Suite was not in best condition. Bathroom door closed with a lot of shoving, Balcony door did not close properly, letting cold in, AC did not function, wallpaper on balcony coming off.
Housekeeping did not come throughout the three nights were there.(everry day we left around 11 am and returned around 11pm, with the sign of 'make up my room' hanging outside.). So no fresh towels, coffee or water.
Only one towel per person.
Luggage storage is not really safe, suitcases are kept in the lobby.

They upgraded me to a suite, which I will be honest I did appreciate, but there were no towels in the bathroom and they said they would send them up twice and never did. Had a great ne night stay where I ended up not showing for this reason alone. Condition was not great and bedding was old

Wi-fi sucks. Tv reception bad. I couldn't watch FIFA games. Food was OK.

It was poor, no cleanliness, noisy rooms, broken air con, broken fridge. People smoking everywhere in the building, including the lifts.

It was a pleasant experience. The breakfast Buffett was great. It is great value for your money

Great lokation but there wes mold,a lot of mold in the bathrooms. We chanhed rooms three times and noticed the same problem in every one of them .When we arrived there my bed looked like someone was sleeping there and they did not change the sheets. And also do not expect friendly staf in the hotel restaurant ,they need some training. Front desk was friendly so the dorman. The bigest isue was dirty showers .

The hotel was very nice but strange policy fo guests
2.0
It was good, the staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great, can’t complain. 2 things did bother me - there was a fly in our bedroom that bugged the hell out of us; the shower door was broken and it was a challenge to open and close it.
4.0
The hotel is centrally located right next to Tahir Square and the old national museum. The services was pretty good too. But air conditioning was not adjustable, either full blast or off.
The beds were pretty comfortable, and the laundry service was great. The morning breakfast was descent and the cafe was good as well. It was great that there was ice cream, dessert, and food restaurant attached to the hotel too.
All in all, I would return to the Cleopatra again.
The hotel is about 30 minutes from the airport, and they can arrange transportation for 15.00 US. The drivers cannot go into the airport though. Just an FYI, the drivers will be waiting across the arrival pick up zone for international flights.
