The Property was exactly as the photos, clean and central to all attractions,

It’s pretty much a hostel

One of the best out of town stays I’ve had so far! Highly recommend!!

Great place to stay

Other than the doors need WD-40 that place was awesome. I would recommend it to all my friends and family. We very much enjoyed our state

I recommend this property. Clean, safe, quiet, close to shopping area and host is accommodating.

The property was great after the air conditioning was repaired on the second day. Great location and very clean. Dealing with the hostess was very unpleasant but the upper management/ owner was a caring and honest man. I would stay there again

On what you are looking for. This is an airbnb with rooms on three floors. If you have a question or problem you have to call because no one is on-site. You will be given access codes for the front door, garage, and your room.
On the plus side: Place was new, common kitchen/area on second floor had the essentials. Price was good.
Not-so-good: Two-car garage for multiple units. There is not a good line-of-sight when you pull out of the driveway into traffic on a fairly busy street. You will probably end up parking on the street. (Over three days I always found street parking within a block.) There is no elevator, so count on carrying your luggage up to your room. All floors have high ceilings, so you will have some extra walking up stairs. My room did not have a luggage stand (even Motel 6 has these!), wash cloth, shampoo, or Kleenex. If you don’t like the temperature in your room you are asked to adjust the thermostat for your floor, which is on the landing area. To adjust the thermostat you have to re-program the thermostat schedule. Good luck with that.

Tucked away in the heart of Houston (Montrose). The property is ideal for anyone who needs a hustle free environment to wind down after a trip or just a staycation in the city.

It was very spacious..awesome views and the host was very nice. Am planning on coming back

Although I didn't receive the room advertised, overall it was vary comfortable and serene

The property was nice but check in process was conveyed late. Other guests noisy.

I was happy overall. People on the phone are very friendly. What didn’t work but didn’t disrupt my overall experience: dimmer didn’t work, small bed side lamp didn’t work, a pile of false eyelashes on the floor near plug for small lamp. Little more detail cleaning. Thank you

Expedia said this was pet friendly, but we later learned it was not. Management was VERY helpful with us finding a new place in the Medical District. Unfortunately it was not up to par, with cockroaches, stains on couch, and loud music/neighbors. If feel like Expedia really messed it up to start though. Again I'm thankful that they were able to find a new place, but again it was not a place I'd ever stay again.

The room conditions were poor, for example, walls had lots of scuff marks. Overall not worth the cost.

Is very impersonal all via text but efficient. no complaints

Good location in Montrose neighbourhood, bedroom, private bathroom and shared space good and comfortable. Host was always available by phone, but not very helpful to resolve problems with access to property (expedia shoud have sent us mail with codes etc, but this didn't work – then there was a problem with the door code because the battery was low I we had to call them again to get in). It is overpriced for what it is.

Very nice and clean. I recommend this property, and I would book it again if I ever come back to Houston again.

Very comfortable room, great bed and shower! Really appreciated the hands-off check-in process. Rooftop area was fantastic and quiet, with a nice view of the skyline! Walls are thin, but the house was very quiet and this didn’t bother me.

Nice facility; near by food, shopping, and walking places; check in was terrible and codes do not work; another door checking was blocked by cars always; hard to find a way in; insides was great; great kitchen, dishes were provided.

Owner promptly called on issue and was super helpful!

Very clean and well-maintained. Very much enjoyed our visit and would recommend this place to stay.

Loved the ease of getting in and very quick response via text.

Very new & clean room. Good, safe location that was in walking distance to some good restaurants as well as the Buffalo Bayou Park.

the Montrose district is very user friendly. We walked to restaurants and museums. Loved having the use of the shared kitchen. High ceilings make the rooms feel airy and spacious. The staff were very accommodating and friendly (via email and texts).

Nice property, no coffee available. Instant coffee would had been okay.

Coffee was not available; and a sign in the kitchen with WiFi info would help. Connecting to email to read instructions is difficult when you can't connect.

I chose this "unattended" guest house because of its location and I thought it would be a different kind of experience. Using the code to enter the front door was easy. Walking up 3 flights to my room and entering the code to access my room was also easy. The room and bath were clean, with no frills but well appointed.Although the room faced the street, it was reasonably quiet. Parking was available on the street. The TV had limited channels (only 1 news channel and it was election night).
It was a different kind of experience. When I left on Day 4, I was ready to go and I don't think I would stay there again.

Very bad experience, mainly due to the service/entry system and the noise of the room.
The remote entry system was a nightmare. We had been given the wrong codes for the main door and our room, then we were given entry codes for a different guests' room, who we walked in on - very embarrassing.
The room itself was big and nicely decorated. The main problem we had was with the noise. The ground floor room is near the front door, which speaks when opened and slams shut. On the second night, a decorator was in from around 6.45, and slammed door about a dozen times, until we told him to stop. All the sorts of problems you wouldn't get of the owner lived onsite.
