Most charming hotel with nice balcony and good location. Limited variety of breakfast options. Parking can be a little difficult.

Large spacious rooms, best hotel bed ever, location right outside the old city is just perfect. Parking is difficult but free in the streets.

We stayed twice at this place in the past week and the room (junior suite) was really nice with a good bed, huge TV, and a nice jacuzzi. It's perfectly clean and the very nice Chiara at the reception made sure we could return to the same room on our second visit and we got the extra sheet we had requested. Strange thing: The room has really high ceilings and the closet is also really tall. So tall, in fact, that you have to be 2½ meters tall or stand on a chair to reach the hangers in the closet :) Also: If we had only stayed there once, we would have given a lower rating because the breakfast waiter was plain obnoxious (think Rachel and Joey's waiter x 10). But thankfully someone nice was on duty on our second visit.

The Hotel is super lovely. It’s situated in the middle of Alghero. The old town is reachable within 10 min by walk. Breakfast is given at a downstairs bar in an lovely Italian style. Room are very clean and daily room service is awesome.
Only one disadvantage is the parking situation in Alghero especially at season time. When you travel by car plan lots of time and money to get a proper parking spot.

The prooerty has been recontructed in an older building exrrenely well. We were unfortunate (I am 6ft2inch) to get a top floor room. The expised beams were atteactive, but after banging my head on them several times, they lost their appeal. We had a balcony accessed by steep steps. A cigarette tray sat there for our 3 day stay overflowing with cigarette butts. As non smokers this was off outting. Free water was orovided in the fridge. However once it was drunk it was not replaced. Penny pinching. The breajfasts were served in the xafe next door. All hotel residents were restricted to 3 items, e g. juice, coffee and croissant. Usually in a hotel charging about euro 150 a night, we expect a more substantial breakfast to start the day. Again, like the mean water policy, we felt short changed. On the plus side the rooms were a good size, modern, clean (apart from ashtray), bathroom was excelkent and location was good. Overall too many negatives. We would not stay here afain.

All worked fine. Late arrival at 8pm. Tlf Call to desk and all handled over phone. Breakfast at bar next door. Sandwich, toast or croissant.
A/c in room. Very clean and all good.

The location is incredible, quiet, beautiful, clean, right in the middle of everything, walking distance to the water, historical town. We also went to the Neptunes Cave, 645 steps, amazing, very good restaurants, we ate at a restaurant just 100 metres, very good price 13. euros. 2 choices, there is a grocery store also thats great. we definitely would go again. The room with balcony was the best. Elegant european feel!

Great location. No staff on arrival, but key left out for us. Next morning a staff member was present to check out, and breakfast in neighbouring coffee bar.
Only complaint was that we were the only guests and put in the furthest room on top floor so hot water took over 5 minutes to reach the room.

The property was exactly as advertised on Expedia! The room was spacious and very comfortable. The room & bathroom were super clean and had all the amenities needed. The towels were top quality and the bedding was extremely comfortable. Was a perfect location when visiting Alghero! Short walk to the old city and in the middle of a shopping district. The staff was friendly and supportive. Very professional and positive experience. Would recommend. Thank you!

This hotel is not trustworthy. I informed them I would be arriving late because of a delayed flight. When I arrived at 10:30pm they were not there. They did not answer the bell at the door and they did not answer the emergency contact phone number posted next to the door. I called for 40 minutes or so, then gave up and had to find another hotel. They charged me anyway, $196. Hotels.com and the hotel would not offer a refund even though I have photos to show that I was there and a call log to show that I called.

The junior suite room was spacious and clean. The breakfast is served from the bar next to the b&b: however the don’t serve continental breakfast. Overall recommended

The staff was extremely helpful and hospitable. The property itself is beautiful and quite central. The breakfast was delicious as well.

The hotel is very well located, just a short walk to shops, restaurants, the market and Old Town. The lido is about 10-15 min. walk. Our room was very nice. However, upon arrival, we found the floors dirty and the air conditioning not working properly because its filter was very dirty. We reported these to Roberto, the receptionist, who was superb. Our complaints were immediately remedied. All the staff were very friendly.

Did the job for the night! A few blocks from the ocean and the staff was very friendly. It was quite noisy in the evening, but nothing that couldn’t be fixed with ear plugs. The beds were a little tough but other wise we slept well! We would stay again! :)

Very reasonable price... comfortable, beautiful room. Excellent spot for viewing the town and a great breakfast selection too. Great service all-round

Nice hotel and clean however not what was promised on site. We booked a room with a queen bed however found that two single beds were pushed together to pass off a double bed. Not comfortable to sleep in at all and certainly not worth the price we paid. The room had a tiny window that was difficult to access so very claustrophobic and room entrance was above what looked like a car park.
I have stayed in much better quality rooms which are true to representstion on their websites and at much more reasonable cost. Very expensive for such a disappointment. I hope for a resonable offer for compensation.

Close to the old town with all its wonderful food and the amazing city walls, Bienestar is a great hotel in a great city. The staff are helpful and polite and the pavement bar outside the hotel is the ideal place to start (or end) your evening on the town. Parking in Alghero is a bit of a pain, but thats not the fault of the hotel. We had an amazing time exploring the west coast of Sardinia and Bienestar was the ideal base.

Excellent location 3 blocks from the harbor and historic center. Newly renovated with bar and cafe downstairs. Very clean. On the busy Via Sept XX and parking can be a challenge. OK for kids. I recommend.
