The property was beyond my expectations! Super clean! Amazing polite and hard working staff! The rooms were as advertised. The owner is a great guy. Comes out and greets the guests. The general manager is American and provides that 5 star customer service to make you feel at home! Did I mention how clean and beautiful the room/villas were? 5-star in my book!

The bar/restaurant sitting area is great. Beautiful sunset view. Food and drinks are decent. Service is not the most professional but the staff are friendly and kind. The bungalow is private, clean, spacious with a large porch. Wifi is weak sometimes but ok overall. However the shower is very weak. The towels have stains and holes. The toilet is easily clogged (no, we didn’t do anything drastic). Many leaflets in the room about services that they can charge extra for, but not a single one about how to use the room, wifi or how to use the safe etc.

We stayed here for 3 nights towards the end of November. We were very pleasantly surprised to find that we'd been allocated cottage number 1 which was closest to the beach. The location was perfect, right on the beach with stunning views of the sunsets. We ordered breakfast to our room 2 out of the 3 days which we ate on the terrace, just perfect. The cottage was very clean and the staff were helpful

Amazing place

We loved our private accommodations here at Mahogany Beach! Everything was amazing! Staff was super friendly and nice! Close to town and very quiet and private! Keep in mind there is no tv or gym on property which is the only downfall. Also the town is only a 5 minute tricycle ride.

It was in a quiet location, the staff very friendly, great breakfast especially the plunge coffee. The whole resort was excellent.

My friend and I recently stayed here for 5 nights and absolutely loved Mahogany. Staff were so helpful (booking us boat tours and taxis), food and drinks were excellent and the location was second to none - right on the beach! We will definitely be back!

We had an enjoyable time staying at the Mahogany. It is in a convenient location to town; it wasn't too expensive and its location on the beach is beautiful. Even when there was an issue with our room, they did their best to make it up to us for the inconveniences.

This place was exactly what I was looking for. Quiet but didn’t feel like I was so far away from everything. Any thing I needed the hotel staff took care of. From moped rental to the island your. It was all taken care of at the front desk. Great stay.

The manager, Joseph, was always ready and willing to help us with our stay and travel arrangements. His staff was also professional and very helpful. We found the servers, cleaners, waiters yard crew all very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed the room, the grounds, the food and the view of the bay. We did not want to leave.

10/10. Would definitely stay here again. The staff were amazing.

Wonderful massage at the spa, yummy food at the on site restaurant, great staff, lovely place. The price for transfers is higher than is listed on their info page here but otherwise it was perfect !

Overall had a nice time! The staff was friendly and our room was nice and cozy as well as super spacious. It also had the best shower I’ve had so far at the hotels I’ve stayed at. We had our own little porch and were close to the pool and quite close to a beach area. The breakfast was pretty good. My main complaints are the following: the Wi-Fi was quite slow and overall very unreliable, the floors seemed a bit dusty and not as clean, and the electricity randomly went out about 2-3 times overnight (fortunately, it was only for a few minutes each time and the power remained on for the rest of the day.) All the staff members we interacted with were quite friendly and super helpful. I would probably stay here again if I’m back in the area.

No working Wi-Fi. Was told it will fix more then 3 times. Never was. Very poor water pressure in the shower. Set up island hopping through the resort and came to find out that we needed to bring water shoes as it is very rocky in some areas, mask/snorkel which was not told ahead by the resort when asked. We had to take tricycles back and forth on our expense. Food is ok minus. The good thing was the customer service from the front desk guy. He was very nice.

After 8 days in El Nido visiting a few hotels, this place is by far the best. Excellent service, peaceful, quiet (day and night) and really comfortable mattresses. I highly recommend.

Nice property

Angelyn who was in the front desk helped us a lot w/ info in tours, transportation to the beaches. The breakfast was not included, but very cheap. If you want a taste of Filipino breakfast, try something new everyday. The staff were all very helpful and friendly! I would recommend this place- has good view of sunset!

Mahogany Beach hotel is beautiful! This staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel has a beautiful design and views. Conveniently located and feels very private. If you’re considering staying I completely recommend it! I hope to be back soon!

restful place and close to restaurants. The view wasn't clear on my visit due to the bad weather. The room was spacious and clean. A few mosquitoes noticed inside the room. Restroom included a bidet which is always a plus for me. Parking access during my visit was not available due to the road leading to the hotel being repaired. Parking space inside was a bit small in the event if the place is fully booked. Overall, had a great time at the hotel. Try the Bella Vita pizza place nearby. They have great pizza
