VERY disappointed
firstly it states on the hotels.com site that there is onsite parking for £6.50 (NO ONSITE PARKING WHATSOEVER)
Attic room was shocking TV wouldnt connect to any channels
Bed was VERY low to the ground
Pillows were as flat as a tod
very cold in the room.....the window had been left open and it was minus 4 outside.....so i had to turn the radiator up to full and use a heater to warm the room
however.....the young girl behind the bar was very helpful

Quirky room, lovely friendly staff. Great location.

accomodation was ok but slightly upset when returning to my parked vehicle at 5.30am, to find it had been broken into along with another vehicle and tools stolen.
slightly changed our thoughts on the area and surroundings of where this hotel is.

Nice big rooms with character.

Our second stay at the Mug House. Location is fabulous right next to the river Severn. The in house restaurant is very good and there is also a pizza oven located in the beer garden for a less formal dining experience. Rooms are quaint rather than luxurious with period features, oak beams and fireplaces. Bed was very comfortable. We will no doubt be staying there again in the future.

Great stay and helpful staff. Good food and beer

Loved everything about the hotel - the only criticism was that the room smelt damp, especially the pillows

The location was exceptional and stunning beauty

We received a very warm welcome from the friendly staff. The room was spacious and well-equipped, with a view of the river. We also enjoyed an excellent meal in the restaurant. This was a lovely place to stay, in a picturesque position by the River Severn.

Great location lovely food. Room comfortable and clean with refurbished shower room. The bed needs replacing as mattress comfort is non existent. I know it is a personal choice

Greeted with a warm welcome to Lovely little place right on River Seven within a stones throw from Town Centre, spotlessly clean room, great food and staff go above and beyond to please, would definitely return and highly recommend

Lovely pub / restaurant with good range on the menu
I stayed in cottage room 3, this is a small room on the top floor and access is by a steep stairway
The room is long and poorly lit the bed and sofa are side on to the tv and this is backward and leads to a pain in the neck
The bathroom is nice with a walk in shower but the water runs away from the drain and collects around the toilet which means you have to dry the floor before using the toilet
2.5
A lovely quirky place to stay. Comfortable bed modern bathroom, tv and tea/coffee and mini fridge. Heated room, although on our visit radiator remained cold but towel rail was warm. Would stay again as good location.

Had a wonderful time everything as expected will definitely be back.

We had a lovely stay, very good hotel to use as a base, the most important thing I can say is the honesty of the staff I lost a gold ring in the room contacted the hotel and they said they would look for it. After a few days it was found and they posted it back to me. Excellent honest service makes you feel good about people especially the staff there

Very cozy rooms and friendly Staff. I've been a few times at the hotel and always have had a very good experience. The restaurant is also able to provide an amazing food

Nice hotel with freindly staff. Food in bar downstairs was excellent as was breakfast which was freshly cooked. Room was a bit eclectic, a mixture of traditianal decor with modern furniture. Carpets looked like they could do with a good clean and the room was a bit cold even though the radiator was turned on it barely got warm. Was OK when in bed though. Location was good with excellent views across the river.

Always a pleasant experience. Food is excellent.

Fabulous stay with such friendly staff, great food and a lovely room overlooking the river. Our dog Eddie was made a fuss off, I’m sure he enjoyed the stay as much as we did!

Great location to stay along the Severn.
We started in one of the cottages with our dogs.
Room was clean and tidy.
Bathroom was spotless.
The pub bar is dog friendly.
Staff were fantastic, hospitable and service was impeccable.
The beer is well kept and the food menu is tasty.
We paid for breakfast each morning. The full English is great value as is the Eggs Benedict.
We will be back and we will bring our dogs again!

It was simply an overnight stay to attend workshop in Kidderminster next day. Location appears good.
Cottage accommodation appeared private, but was rather noisy. Two locked unused front doors in my room took away and comfort of privacy even though informed they do not get used. Just my view, I am sure many would say different. Overall 4/10

Bewdley is a really cute village, and the Mug House is a super location. We loved looking out our window and watching the swans and rowers. Pubs were close and restaurants too.

I have stayed here before but won’t again. No hot water in the place on my first morning. Got an apology but no refund. Hot water is pretty fundamental in my opinion. Full English breakfast was poor. Sausage about as tasteless as you could find, toast burnt and the cafetières are not fit for purpose. Very disappointing.

We liked everything - we stated in the Rose Room which is full of character and overlooked the river. The food at dinner and breakfast was fantastic.

Room was lovely over looking the river. Comfy nights sleep. Food was delicious and staff friendly. Location is perfect for shops and Severn Valley Railway. Highly recommended.

Lovely position with river view. Extremely old building so very crooked but added to the charm. Breakfast was additional however well worth it. Only negative is the room really needs another mirror. The heating was full blast and couldn't turn it down which meant the single glazed window needed to be open which was then noisy during the night with night owlers@ 0400hrs passing by chatting. Other than that great place
