It is challenging to find a perfect hotel in smaller towns in Europe. But everything about The Boutique hotel surpassed our expectations. The room, location and access were of course great. But what made the stay so good was the personalised attention we received from the owners. On the day of our check-in, we were informed on the phone that as it was election day we had to get there by 6pm to let the staff go out to vote. But even though we were a bit late due to traffic, they were gracious enough to greet us at the door and ensure an amazing check-in experience. They recommended 3 restaurants to us which we dined at and were mind blown by the quality of food there. Each morning we were met with a big smile and greetings; we were asked about our previous day’s excursions and given notes on where to park our car in Weymouth. The attention to detail and jovial nature of the owners gave us a real positive start everyday of our holiday.
This historic hotel was once frequented by royals, we were told by the owners. The pride they take in their work and preserving the hotel for the future really made us happy to stay here. Overall, Highly Recommended!

Fabulous boutique hotel in a great location in Weymouth. Our room had an amazing view over the beach. Breakfast was great with all local ingredients. Will definitely book again!

On first entering the hotel I was warmly greeted by Suzanne and Derek and at once knew I was in good hands & would be very comfortable staying at No 98 Boutique Hotel. Nothing was too much of a bother for Suzanne and Derek. I have experienced many hotels over the years and the cooked breakfast in No 98 Boutique is amongst the best that I have had. I have no hesitation but to highly recommend this hotel.

A lovely one night stay. Stylishly recently refurbished Listed building in a great central location with a lovely friendly welcome from the owners. Attention to detail was very good. Particularly helpful to get a text the day before with sat nav and app details for the nearest car park! Excellent

This should not be qualified as a hotel… this is a home that they modified with rooms.
They only have 3hs where u can do a check in… unbelievable
Spiders in the room
The room and the setting was fine but too expensive for what it was

We loved everthing about staying at the 98 Hotel. From the friendly personal welcome of the owner,
to his guidance about places to see around town, to our beautiful room - spacious, exquisitely
decorated by his wife. And with the best bathroom we've ever had in a hotel (walk-in shower and
bathtub, huge mirror, lots of space, really lovely). The air quality was particularly good as we are
sensitive to cleaning chemicals and often have trouble with hotel rooms. The bed was large and
comfortable and there was fresh air from easily opened windows. The hotel is located right on the
esplanade with views from their lounge over the beach. There could hardly be a more convenient location.
Breakfast was a gourmet meal with a menu of freshly cooked to order choices. Our only sadness is they
don't do lunch and dinner. As Weymouth just got voted best beach in the UK, I guess bookings will
soar, so keep a note of the name of the hotel. You may have to wait til next year to get in.

Nice newly renovated rooms. Would be perfect to have a bit more space in the bedroom (proper hanging spencer for jackets) and bathroom. Host Derek and Suzy are very responsive and professional. Car parking in the area can be challenging esp during summer peaks.

Pretty boutique hotel, our room and public areas were beautifully decorated (even the kettle matched the pale blue decor), very friendly and helpful hosts. Lovely breakfast included fresh berries in December and home made yogurt and compote pots and breakfast cooked to order. Only drawback was the tiny bathroom, room also a bit on the small side.

No 98 Boutique was amazing, From the moment we arrived I could tell it was going to be perfect. The bed had feather pillows which I love and was very comfortable. The en-suite was really lovely with a great shower. The room was very clean and had everything & more. The breakfast was the the best we have had in a long time. Looking forward to going again soon.

The accommodation was newly refurbished and very clean. It has been decorated very pleasantly for a B&B. Very well located for those wishing to stay in Weymouth or enjoy the South Coast. We used the place as base to go hiking along the Jurassic Coast. The hosts were friendly and happy to help.
Only couple of down sides were the bathroom was very small. You couldn’t change your clothes in them. As we weren’t a couple it was a bit awkward. Secondly, the room was in the attic which got rather warm at night and the tower fan was ineffective. Can’t imagine how it would have been had we been there a week earlier during the heatwave. Breakfast was very good and the service very efficient and polite. Would highly recommend.

We could not have chosen a better place to stay. Situated perfectly opposite the seafront clock tower. On our arrival we were warmly greeted by the owners. We paid a small charge per day for the parking permit which was greatly appreciated. The first thing i noticed was the lovely way the place was decorated. It was bright, fresh looking and clean. We stayed at room 8 that was at the top floor with a sea view. We only stayed for 2 nights and will definitely be booking with them next time. Breakfast was faultless and the service just as good. Thanks also to the young woman who helped with breakfast and looked after the rooms, you always had a smile for us as did the owners. You all made us feel welcome.

We stayed here for the first time on Saturday and it definitely won't be the last. It's an absolute gem of a hotel run by Derek and Suzanne who took over management recently and have just renovated from top to bottom. It's clear that no expense has been spared.
The hotel is on the seafront, a short walk to both the town and harbour area. Drinking a coffee on Sunday morning in the incredibly comfortable bed, looking across the sea felt like bliss.
The hosts are so welcoming you feel more like a valued guest in their home rather than just a hotel booking, and overhearing a couple of conversations between other guests it was clear that they felt just the same!
Breakfast was cooked to order and delicious. We can't wait to return, but already know we'll need to book up quickly as No. 98 is going to be in high demand!

The location could not be better, and the fact if you book earlier they even have car parking is phenomenal.
It's very very close to the train station so you can walk to the place in less than 3 minutes.
The people are lovely. They have clearly done alot of work on the place. The people are lovely.
I really don't think you could want for more from a bed and breakfast.

Booked what we thought was a superior family suite for myself my husband and two grown up children for a three night stay, we were allocated room 8, Up on the top floor, one double bed and a futon!!!. Room very small, en-suite no bigger than a broom cupboard. No option to move rooms hotel fully booked. Had to request more towels, coffee tea etc, No complimentary sherry or water as stated on the website. Lovely bar area with plenty of drinks, however, always closed so we never had the opportunity for to purchase any. Very poor customer service, we were constantly having to ask for the little extras which should of come as standard considering the amount of money we paid. I definitely would not re-visit. If I were to leave one positive comment, the breakfast was pretty good.
