Host is wonderful - welcomed us with fresh oranges and peaches and cold water after a long flight - priceless. Located at a quiet street in a beautiful area, with Acropolis nearby. Athens is gorgeous and so much to do. Very safe area and city, wished we had time to stay longer.

Great apartment in a fantastic location. It’s a short walk to the Acropolis, Roman Agora, many good restaurants and shops. Our family of five was completely comfortable and felt at home. There’s also a cute balcony to sit for coffee in the morning or drinks in the evening. Yannis was a friendly, wonderful host, ready to help with tours and airport transportation.

Yannis, is a great host who keeps you posted on everything for a comfortable stay. The apartment is clean, close to all the attractions and has lot of good choice of restaurants and stores close by. We had a very comfortable stay and would recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful place to stay

Our host organized our transportation to and from the airport and met us upon arrival and departure (at 5am on a Saturday!). Yannis goes above and beyond to make your stay perfect! Would highly recommend this location and apartment!

Great location and the apartment is located in a nice area. Very easy to walk to shops, restaurants and attractions. The apartment is clean overall, the host Yannis is a nice guy and welcomed us during late check in, also recommended us places. We have a family of 5 including 3 young kids, we like the stay. Very mixed feeling about this property. Owner is very nice so I’d like to say I loved it. Unfortunately, as an American there are things I’m just not used to and there are a ton of requirements. In order to shower you have to flip power switch for 20 minutes or you don’t get hot water. To use over you pull a propane tank from below to turn gas on and off. You get two keys, but one must remain in a specific place or all the power other than refrigerator will turn off, so you can’t really use both. And, so on. A lot to remember for a few nights stay. Also, needs a good deep cleaning.

Two bedroom European typical apartment. So for an American small but sufficient. Well stocked, literally everything you could possibly need they had including a small washer. The area is super convenient for seeing the sites. Within walking distance of everything. Lots of great restaurants really close as well. Property manager is super helpful. Great place to stay!

This is a gorgeous apartment right in the Plaka. Perfect for two couples complete with a library, fully equipped kitchen and the best host in the world. Yannis met us as we arranged in time, and full of tips and stories. He recommended a rooftop restaurant that was out of this world for food and views of the Parthenon. Thank you Yannis!

Superb location! Close to pretty much everything you would do if the intent of your visit was to tour the Acropolis. The host is very friendly, is thorough, makes you feel very welcome and provides you with a ton of information before you begin your stay. The apartment is spacious with pretty decor and quite secure. The only drawback is that water from the shower tends to spill out of the shower area on to the bathroom floor. But for that this is a wonderful place to stay!

LOCATION! LOCATION! LOCATION! Location is excellent. Can walk to all the sights. Never needed a taxi except for airport transfers. Lots of restaurants, bars, coffee, shops, etc very close by. Staff very accommodating and helpful. Only nonpositive comment is that it was listed as a 4 star accommodation, but I would think more of a 3-3.5 star , which is fine to be in the center of the city. We stayed as a family of 5. Beds for 4 were good. Sofa bed for my son was ok.

This apartment was great! Although we didn’t spend a lot of time inside, the apartment is well equipped with everything you could need. Yannis was a great host and made great suggestions. Just out the door is the Plaka area and a 10 minute walk to Acropolis Museum.

My family of four had a wonderful time staying at this apartment. The whole place was clean and the deco was exquisite. All amenities including a safe were readily available. The kitchen was well stocked, including a coffee machine with some coffee capsules and tea bags. To top it off, we had access to Neflix, which provided entertainment in the evening when we returned from all day of visiting tourist attractions/shopping/dining.We were greeted by Yannis on arrival, who contacted me prior to ask if we needed transfer. He patiently walked us through the whole apartment explaining all the amenities available. He pulled up a map to show us the best routes to get to the Acropolis and recommended some great places for food. He also arranged for our departure transfer. He was very professional, friendly and courteous.The apartment itself was in a quiet street but was a very short walk away from the nearest café/restaurants/shopping. Great location!Plaka Elegant Apartment is definitely a top choice for us if we are to visit Athens again.

We were very pleased with our stay at the Plaka Elegant Apartment. The location is fantastic --in the Plaka, very close to many pretty restaurant and shops, and an easy walk to Syntagma Square. We felt very safe at all times of day. We loved having the extra space and two bedrooms (the beds were extremely comfortable), and we looked forward to getting 'home' every day after our adventures. Yanni was very helpful and accommodating. We had a very pleasant stay here and greatly enjoyed our adventures in Athens.

A fantastic apartment in an absolutely excellent location. We had a wonderful time here and would absolutely stay here again if we ever get back to Athens. Our host was extremely helpful. We are a family of five and with the fold out bed we fit perfectly. Taxis, travel agent's and most importantly the Acropolis are right on your doorstep. Highly recommend.

Perfect location, spacious, comfortable apartment, excellent customer service. Yannis arranged for transportation to and from the airport, was waiting for us when we arrived and helped us with check-out when we left. He offered great restaurant suggestions and stocked the fridge with fresh fruits, pastries, water, and basics like butter and condiments. Wifi was the best we've had in Europe. Beds were a dream, towels were plush, and everything was better than expected. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat.
