Confusing check-in, and no english so it was confusing when we dont speak french.
Beautiful place that need som ekstra care on the rooftop (the water was not ok in the jazzuci, and all the furniture had a lot of stains) Not possible to get a cold beer. But otherwise, the satff was very friendly and the food was exellent.

EXCELLENT SERVICE. We arrived late. We left stuff. And they were so accommodating in helping us with all these situations!

We stayed at the Dar Antonia for 3 nights, when we arrived we were met at the steps by Sanna the host of the venue, she took us to show us the venue, the beautiful rooms, the dining area & gave us our keys then showed us how to get in and out of the building, everything was immaculate and the hospitality was above and beyond, we explained we wanted a light meal in the Médina and she personally took us to a small eating kitchen a stones throw from the venue.
The bar at the top of the venue is amazing, the bartender is a lovely Tunisian man versed in 5 languages so you’ll have no problem getting anything you need, he makes the drinks strong but equally delicious and not overpowered,
Now to the most important part the food at the Dar Antonia food is made by a Michelin star Swedish chef, we met some local brits that live in Tunisia and they said the food at the Dar Antonia is the best in Sousse, these lovely brits showed us all the class restaurants all with amazing food but not 1 touched the levels of the Dar Antonia they truly are a cut above the rest.
All in all if you come to Tunisia and stay in sousse and don’t stay at the Dar Antonia you’ve missed out on a gem of Tunisia.

A real gem, cosy room, great service and a nice rooftop mini-pool

Dar Antonia is a little slice of heaven in Sousse. They were so kind as to reach out to me prior to my arrival, and offered assistance in making the arrival smooth. Hanen greeted me with warmth and kindness. She gave me a full tour of the facilities and chatted with a genuine spirit. The rooms are all beautiful, clean, well designed and comfortable. The restaurant was excellent, I ate there both nights of my stay. A special mention of my server who spoke handfuls of languages, chatted with everyone and even offered a speaker while I was relaxing on the rooftop patio. The location is central in the old medina, and close to everything you may need. This is the place to stay in Sousse! Thank you, everyone.

The staff was very nice. But there was a lot of noice including loud music from the restaurant below until 11 pm

Facility needs to be fixed, especially the shower

Everything about this place is perfect and I’ll definitely return. From the rooms to the amazing restaurant, I feel like I got very lucky choosing Dar Antonia. The staff and the attention to detail is remarkably good, and being literally inside the Medina makes it all the better. Go here - you won’t regret it!

The hotel is stunning visually. The restaurant food is fantastic. The hotel has the opportunity to be in credible.
However, the place is a fiasco. Our a/c was broken. The internet didn't work in our room. The hotel forgot to put water in our room and then couldn't find any making it impossible to brush our teeth or take our medicine. Also, the room with a bathtub has no shower merely a hand-held device. Another room has an open toilet with no privacy. Two friends who were traveling together asked us to switch rooms which we did since we had no shower. The hotel has a lot of potential but it is horribly managed.

Great stay. The host were friendly, courteous and on top of things. We had a quick issue related to the hot water that was by no mean the hosts’ fault and they were prompt in addressing and replace the entire gas tank in no time. The place is very classy, there is a cozy library. Marwa is a gem and was always there to help out with anything

This is a great little traditional hotel in the middle of Sousse Médina. Lovely rooms, great breakfast served by a very helpful and friendly local lady.
Recommended.
As we were there in winter the only down side was that the mains heater was not sufficient to keep the room warm, but to his credit the owner provided us with two warm portable heaters, the room was then nice and cozy

fantastic hotel in the medina, with extremely accommodating staff. only thing to be aware of - the bathroom doesnt have a door and is entirely exposed, which could sometimes make for an awkward stay. also, staff were contactable only by whatsapp text

This is by far the nicest small hotel I have ever stayed at. I wish I could have stayed longer. The only issue was there was a big storm and the wot water heater breaker blew in the middle of the night (1 lamp and hot water). By the time I woke up at 7am to go tell them they had already resolved the issue.

Sami, Marwa and Sonia were the most awesome hosts that make you feel at home. Excellent location within the old town. Highly recommended.

A one-in-a-million, experience. Each room was decorated immaculately with a healthy blend of traditional and modern finishings. Every attention to detail from the central courtyard to the roof terrace - many of which were awe inspiring. Delightful customer service from beginning to end, with good sightseeing tips and restaurant recommendations from hotel management. A memorable and faultless experience end-to-end. I would highly recommend this property over any other hotel in Sousse, and indeed, Tunisia.

The guest house was lovely.
We went to Dar Essid, that was quite nice.
I think ALL of Tunisia needs to work on their garbage problem. Wandering through the streets, wading into garbage is not the ideal.

If you can handle the price (a little higher than average) you surely won't regret this! Beautifully designed, a wonderful succesful blend between modern and ethnic, this recently renovated 'dar' makes you dream about 1001 nights.. we even did a little photoshoot there, dressed up as an arabian princess and her djinn.. :-)

Beautiful and loving designed & restored building, all the rooms are exquisite with amazing attention to detail. There is an roof terrace with views of the Sousse. Our hosts Sami and Sonja were very welcoming with sumptuous breakfasts every morning . Located in the Medina we enjoyed soaking up the sights and sounds of the Medina and there is also god access to the city centre.
