What a lovely stay at the hotel we enjoyed it very much and the pool area was especially welcoming after a hot day exploring Grenada. The staff were welcoming and friendly and made our stay very comfortable. The location is just beautiful they had little trail you can walk behind the hotel and they had a family of tortoises that we can see everyday. Which was a nice surprise and our family liked it very much. The only thing I would say about this location is that there were not much options for food in the surrounding areas. But I guess we were there at the low season so maybe not many places were opened. But if you wanted to see a more quiet part of the island this is the perfect location to stay.

The staff were amazing & very helpful. The pools & views were breathtaking & the food & drinks were good as well. Definitely plan on revisiting & bringing family and friends to experience such a peaceful getaway.

This property is exquisite - the staff are so friendly and the food delicious. Views of sunset are spectacular!

This place is like nowhere anyone will have experienced before. Its not actually that far from the nearest towns but it feels worlds away.
Originally built by slaves on the edge of the forest, its been modernised to facilitate all essential needs. The garden is made up of mature shrubs and trees which is enjoyed by plentiful birdlife. The forest walk takes you past an incredible variety of plantation trees and bushes. A real taste of Colonial life

We had booked for transportation through the staff to the hotel from Saint Georges. It was a perfect little getaway. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Our room had the most beautiful view (nutmeg 1). Next time we come to Grenada we'll spend most of our time here

Staff were Uber attentive and created a relaxed and spoiling atmosphere. Old
World charm. Very laid back but every detail had been thought through. Spectacular views from pool / terrace/ room balcony.

Excellent host, Kevin, had all the answers for many questions. Staff was happy and friendly; servers, chef, housework staff. Loved our resort cat we named Sly who kept us company. Grounds and views are breath-taking. Infinity pools, lovely! Beautiful getaway in exotic setting. A glimpse of paradise!

Mount Edgecombe was a fantastic property to stay at overnight. Really enjoyed the pools, as well as the lovely dinner with a view! Would highly recommend to anyone, either for a meal or a stay :)

Very peaceful place. Very hard to get food however. Very limited options and times you are allowed to eat. Probably because of the supply chain issues I would assume but check first if that is something that would bother you.

Friendly people, relaxed atmosphere, great view over the Caribbean Sea

Nice, quiet location with terrific view of sunsets from the terrace.Very disappointing food and unhelpful and unfriendly bar staff. (Except for the lady who served the breakfast). It is a long drive (one hour) from St Georges and there is nothing else to do anywhere near the property (ie no beaches)

Wonderful spot in the lush Northern end of Grenada. A must to visit. Due to covid stuff hotel very quiet. We were happily accommodated in the ac bedroom. Thanks Joseph and Elizabeth.

Joseph is a great man and fantastic cook. This is the best place we have ever stayed and extended our stay even longer after our first night.
We will continue to come back here for many years! A true hidden gem!

Didn’t like the peacocks especially at 4am in the morning outside your door The hotel needs a complete overhaul otherwise it will not survive

Wonderful room! Just a 4 room hotel, they are currently adding 3(?)more. 2 infinity pools overlooking ocean. The hotel has great views but doesn’t sit on or have private access to a beach. There is a small local beach close by. Served a large fantastic breakfast by the staff from the onsite kitchen. The hotel doesn’t currently have a onsite restaurant for lunch or dinner .The hotel is a nutmeg plantation and was recently certified an organic farm and is planning to have a restaurant serving organic. We were aware of the lack of a restaurant and had brought provisions . There is a small pub style restaurant in town called Kelly’s that we ate at on Friday night. They had a incredibly small menu that night-two items-chicken and chips(French fries) and fish and chips. Both were good, would eat there again. In fairness , it’s a small town and on Fridays all the locals eat at the weekly street vendors “fish Friday”. And it was swarmed with a hundred+ people. We had passed thru a hotel and restaurant called Petit Anse earlier in the day, north of our hotel, checked out the menu-seemed good-we just choose not to drive 15(?) minutes back up the road for dinner.

Our trip to Grenada was an amazing experience. When we (unfortunately) returned to reality, someone asked me what the best part of the trip was. Hands down, it was staying at Mount Edgecombe. This place is an amazing oasis in a country that has some rough edges. It was great to come back to after a day of exploring. It’s especially nice that the food is also awesome because we did NOT want to drive on the island at night.
It wasn’t just staying in a nice hotel, it was a personal experience. That’s what makes it a cut above the other hotels I’ve stayed at. It was beautiful, it was very clean, everyone was friendly, the food was excellent, the critters were fun, and Simon and Tanya made it seem like we were visiting family and not on travel.
I highly recommend this hotel. It’s a true Grenada experience.

This property was absolutely beautiful! It is in a more secluded part of the country, to the north, which made it very peaceful and serene. The owners are very kind and attentive, willing to do just about anything to keep the guest in a high level of comfort. My only advice would be to rent a vehicle if you plan on seeing the rest of the island as there is not really anything is walking distance and taxi's can be a bit expensive (which wasn't a problem for me as I came for the remoteness and seclusion). Overall, I can't complain...it was a really amazing location.

Mount Edgecombe is located in the quiet North of the island, on a hilltop overlooking the ocean. Stunning views. The property itself is beautiful and immaculately maintained.

This is a wonderful place to stay in a fabulous location. The buildings have been lovingly restored and the rooms are extremely comfortable. I loved the peacocks wandering around and the garden is beautiful. Watching the sunset from the terrace is amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay.

The property is just amazing. In addition to great views and historical buildings, it's a real working plantation too. But the best part were our hosts, Amanda and Adrian, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable.

Myself and my girlfriend Lauren stayed with the wonderful staff in Mount Edgecomb for 3 nights. We had the most attentive service right from day one. Elizabeth, Adrian and Amanda did a fantastic job of making us feel welcome. Beautiful rooms, sensational views and rum punch by the pool. Would highly recommend others to stay here!
