Great location and restaurants near by.

Great place to overnight before a flight from Rome

We needed a one night stay close to airport as our flight was the following morning so this place was perfect! They have a shuttle service that was very easy to arrange. They have a complimentary breakfast but unfortunately our early flight didnt allow us to enjoy it. Very clean and very good communication response.

Very pleasant and friendly. Clean rooms and affordable

FCO airport is 15 minutes drive from the hotel. Sunsets are gorgeous and a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Airport shuttle service is available upon request and is 8 euros per person each way. So many dining options walking distance. The front desk lady, Simona was very welcoming, kind and caring. I would definitely recommend and stay here again!!!

The room was too small. Looked clean but the shower was full of mold.
No awareness whatsoever.

Stayed one night close to the airport and nice harbor area with restaurants in walking distance.
Room felt more like dorm than an B&B.
Pictures looked better on website than in person.
Staff was very friendly.

First off I have to say full marks for the owner showing up at 11 pm to fix my ac. I could not have slept if he didn’t. Lovely small b and b. Great people. Close to a marina. Bed was comfortable. All good!!

We really enjoyed our time at La Lira, although it was quite short. We stayed there one night before going on the cruise. Alejandro was very helpful in providing us insights around the area. The property was clean and safe. The restaurant which was walkable from the b&b was fabulous! There were a lot of dining places close by. It was juice, water, coffee and pastries for breakfast but it was enough for us. The a/c was adequate but could have been cooler, but I think it might just be a European or Italy situation. Transportation was a bear and if we had more time to understand the system we wouldn't feel like we were overcharged for uber or taxis. Even though a ride from the airport to La Lira was less than 15 minutes away, it took a long time for us to get a ride that would take us. Rome was like 30 minutes but our cost was over $85. The stay at least made it enjoyable!

The room was good size, bed not as comfortable, and need better pillows. Lots of good places to eat in a walking distance, beautiful view of the river, nice promenade an evening atmosphere.

A bit too far to walk from the Fiumicino Aeroporto but this area is good for Italian seafood. Also, the area is by the water so even if it is very hot in Italy, it would be 10 degrees cooler here

Hard to understand how this hotel is in business. You enter a poorly marked gate, pass the trash bins in an alley to a locked door which you have to be buzzed into. You take a small elevator to the reception desk squeezed into the second floor. You are checked in with a fistfull of keys and a complex explanation of what each one opens Our room was directly off of a staff kitchen which looked like it is never used. Our room had a crib in it, even though we do not have a baby. The small balcony had a broken down washing machine on it. The room and bathroom were clean although the edges of the floor were not. The bed was comfortable. Staff was very nice and very helpful, but I do not recommend this hotel unless you have no other options.

Perfect place to stay near the airport. Close to great restaurants and cafe's.

Decent boutique hotel( private house). Each floor has three guest rooms with own restroom. Clean and quiet place. Barely working AC. Very limited breakfast. All nearby lunch places open after 12.

We arrived earlier and the owner let us check in a room he had cleaned. Staff was very nice.

My only regret is I didn’t spend more time there it was very beautiful

Pretty basic rooms near FCO airport. My room was a lot less nice than pictures on the website (more like a dorm room than a hotel room) but the room was clean and functional. Breakfast was a pastry and coffee. Airport taxi-fare estimators and Google both say the 5km taxi ride should be about 10€ but the taxis at the airport refused to take me for less than 30€. So I waited about 1.25 hrs after landing for the shuttle bus (8€ ea direction). The staff are very friendly and helpful. However, WiFi was out the entire time I was there and they were not able to get it up and running which definitely colors my overall impression. The beach is about 2km walk (many restaurants) and there also restaurants along the Tiber within a few hundred yards. Overall, it's reasonable to plan to stay here in coordination with an FCO flight but make sure you are arriving / departing at hrs when the shuttle is running or you need to add 60-70€ to the cost of the stay to deal with the rapacious FCO taxi operators.

Quiet B&B across the river from the boardwalk, dining, and tourism. We stayed here to take a break from Rome before hopping on the airplane for a long time. It was refreshing. Staff were very helpful with luggage and breakfast.

A hidden gem on the inside. A very cute, clean room. Just perfect for our quick overnight stay. Close to many restaurants.

I arrived at La Lira on the hotel shuttle (8 Euros) from the airport. Communication was good in planning the arrival was good. The room was very clean and just right for my overnight stay at the airport. Last shuttle leaving for the airport was around 10:00 am so I had a long wait for my flight. Continental breakfast was good with lots of choice. Owner was very friendly and accommodating.

The hosts were helpful, warm and accommodating. They directed us to a restaurant for dinner the night before our flight and helped us figure out the electronic boarding passes from a regional carrier. The cappuccino was great, and the conversation equally pleasant. Thank you!

Alex is so friendly & professional. He patiently explained everything when we arrived. He even met us in person at the door & carried my heavy backpack for me. It’s such a quiet & neat place to stay with a great river bank view. Plus, we just walked to the beach very easily.
