If you are venturing to Hanoi you would definitely not be disappointed staying at JM Marvel Hotel & Spa. After making my booking I contacted the hotel and they arranged collection and return to the airport which was excellent. Arriving at the hotel you are made to feel like royalty and that you are the only guests in the hotel. The staff are fabulous. We had 2 rooms at the hotel (2 separate stays) and each was extremely comfortable and clean. The roof top bar serves excellent food and the views are very nice in the evening. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Wonderful and friendly hotel. No other place like it! Very kind, friendly and pleasant staff. They are eager to assist you in any way to ensure that you have the best experience at the Marvel hotel and spa and the best of Hanoi! The breakfast buffet is so tasty! The service is fabulous..so is the view. Thank you all so very much! Looking forward to staying here again in the very near future. So much appreciation!

This property was lovely. The staff was very accommodating of our late checkin as well as needing to hold some of our luggage while traveling to Sapa. They even went out of their way to add a night due to the typhoon coming in and then helped us arrange transportation when our flights out were changed. Breakfast was fresh and delicious every morning. I don’t have any pictures to add but all I can say is that the photos already online are accurate and the property is beautiful. We will definitely want to stay here again if we’re ever lucky enough to visit Hanoi again.

The staff is attentive and goes above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. The hotel's central location makes it convenient for exploring nearby attractions. We enjoyed it so much that we booked an additional 2 nights! Overall, JM Marvel is an excellent choice for travelers seeking high-quality service and amenities. Really recommended! Wow - this was our favorite hotel of the 4 we stayed at while traveling through Vietnam! The hotel is beautiful and in a perfect walkable location in the Old Quarter. But what makes this hotel truly amazing is the team that works here - from the front desk/reception to housekeeping to the restaurant/bar, everyone was so kind, friendly, helpful, and genuine. Thom and Dave from the front desk/reception were impeccable! Always making sure we were taken care of, remembering so many details, and always giving us the best recommendations making our time in Hanoi so memorable. We will absolutely be back :)

Beautiful hotel in very central location. The breakfast buffet is excellent. The hotel is very clean and in excellent condition. The staff member are super friendly. Even though the location in right in the middle of the Old Quarter, our hotel room is very quiet and peaceful. Highly recommend this hotel!

The JM Marvel is such a beautiful place to come into from the busy Hanoi streets. You are greeted and treated like family. The rooms are beautiful and very comfortable and quiet. Lovely breakfast with many choices and access to the pool at a neighbouring hotel. This hotel is a gem!! 10/10

I'm beyond grateful for the incredible hospitality I experienced at my hotel in Vietnam. Lyan welcomed me with such warmth and truly made my day. I had to stay an extra night after missing my flight, and she went above and beyond to take care of me. She arranged a courtesy dinner and a beautiful room, showing such kindness and generosity. All the staff at this hotel were amazing; it seems like everyone is exceptional and Lyan has been trained by the best. The service was excellent. Lyan, you were an absolute angel and created one of the best memories I'll have from Vietnam. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! 🌟 -

Good location in old town. Treed local streets pretty but broken foot paths really just parking lots for scooters and motor bikes. Makes walking difficult. Expensive area, especially food and drink. The hotel was lovely, bed very comfortable, soft pillows. Very good breakfast, changes every day. Food in restaurant tasty. Staff professional, friendly and helpful.

Booked this on our 3 week Asia tour. This staff will go above and Beyond to make you feel welcome and be helpful while you are in the area. This is a smaller boutique hotel and the rooms may be a bit smaller and some US hotels however I think we balcony rooms are exceptionally cute The Breakfast was included with a nice selection and they cute Tiffany’s boutique and they are more than happy to schedule transportation to and from the airport on your arrival and departure. As Travler would highly recommend this hotel conveniently located in the center of it all Hanoi Old City.

Really lovely staff! Super helpful and friendly! We had a big problem (visa) and got separated from a family member…so tricky times! They were so helpful organising to solve the problems (getting our suitcases back) and reuniting the family on the onward journey! Fabulous effort! Easy walking distance of night markets and old French quarters.

1. They blackmailed me multiple times about how I rated their hotel on their survey. 2. They wanted me to make a payment at the front desk and also wanted me to register my credit card in case of cancellation before I left for Vietnam. I was ready to pay at the front desk when I arrived, but they already took money from my credit card without my approval. 3. I ordered an airport shuttle on the hotel’s website. The driver showed up with shabby clothes with no smile on, only helped with one person’s suitcase and drove with just left hand because he was holding his cellphone talking to somebody the whole time. It was quite scary especially because it was late at night.

The hotel is located in the old quarter of the city surrounded by small shops and restaurants. It is very convenient to walk around to explore the old city. The staff are very friendly and sweet to help me with tourism and shopping. My room is very clean and comfortable with unique classical styles. The breakfast is delicious. I recommend this hotel to my friends who are looking for hotels in Hanoi for vacation.

Great hotel, service was amazing. The staff were friendly and helpful. My room was clean, small in size for a “Honeymoon Suite” but no issues with noise. They had blackout curtains which were great. Shower water pressure was fabulous!

Really enjoyed our stay at this property. They were very accommodating of adding an extra person on the booking. Facilities were clean and comfortable. Food at the restaurant for dinner and breakfast was very nice. The staff was so sweet they even did a special celebration for a bday with breakfast. Would definitely come back and stay.

We only stayed here one night but ate at the restaurant on another night in Hanoi and sampled the rooftop bar as well. Well-run first-class hotel with great staff and service. Obviously not the cheapest place in Hanoi at which to stay or dine but one of the nicest!

Excellent hospitality, especially the reception! Clean room, good accomodation, soft matras on the bed, different kind of breakfast, rooftopbar for the evening. The room was a little bit small for the bed. One night some disturbing noice (generator?) but it disappeared the second night after the reception was informed. The hotel is in the old quater, in a relatively quiet street. I recomment the hotel strongly and would return next time.
