Doma Zagreb was clean, quiet and was a wonderful room. Has little kitchenette.
The owner was terrific with hospitality and communication. Walking distance to square and restaurants.
A few stairs to get to room but doable.
We enjoyed our stay.

Excellent location.
Great for short term stay.

The apartment was about a 10 minute easy walk to the main square in Lower Town. The parking garage is also a 10-15 minute walk from the apartment. There is street parking in front but it is limited. The website states that there is limited onsite parking but this wasn’t offered to us. The apartment was quiet and the air conditioning worked well. The biggest problem was the shower. It leaked out from the base in several places all over the bathroom floor and ran into the hallway. The wooden hallway floor adjoining the bathroom tile floor was darkened and warped, possibly moldy. The edges of the bathroom floor were also dark and looked unclean. The shower handle on the inside of the sliding door was missing, so it was impossible to get out without help. This is not a luxury bathroom. The bed was comfortable and the fridge worked well.

First, this is not a 4 star apartment as indicated,
We arrived a few hours earlier then our check in time and the cleaning person allowed us access to our room on the 2nd floor as we were tired from an over nite flight
We opened the windows and found the room was faced a 3 lane street along with. Tram stop located directly below our window , we like to have fresh air in the room however it was far too noisy to leave the windows open ,we immediately asked for a quieter room but were told that everything was booked up
At our check in we had no communications from staff on the room provisions, accessing the area and our apt when the office was closed etc but there was a written brochure with info on restaurants ,
In the evening there were bright street lights directly outside of our window that glowed directly into our room and there was only a half black out blind per window so it felt like there was light on in our room all night We also let staff know about this
Also accessing our apartment from the street was thru a dark courtyard and up stairs that weren’t lit, we didn’t find out until our last nite that there was a switch behind the door
- the bathroom had a stale smell and didn’t seem to vent very well and the sink drained Slowly
- although the apartment was clean, the finishes, , are tired and in need of a refresh.
There are far nicer and quieter places as we found later that cost less with breakfast included so look further.

We had excellent communication with the property before arrival. He made checking in a seamless process. The room was clean.

The proprietor was kind, helpful, extremely helpful, actually, carried my bag for me, saw me coming in later with some shopping and followed behind to make sure it'd be easy for me to get the door open. He was flexible with a couple of my requests. It was most pleasant--simple, of course, but that's what I like when I travel before I start working with a group (I work in group travel). I will definitely stay here again. Bed was comfy, too, btw.

Super friendly staff. Cleaning every third day. However the kitchen/bathroom could use an upgrade. And the walls are a bit thin (my neighbors had two crying children and the tram was right out front of my window). I was traveling on business so my assessment is a bit biased. However, I would still 100% recommend it to people travelling on holiday in Zagreb for sure.

Huge room. Excellent. Feels more like a big apartment than hotel.
Would stay again.

We had a lovely stay at the doma apartments. They were comfortable, clean and pretty central to Zagreb central. Darina was lovely and met us on arrival nothing was too much trouble, she even sent us information about the buses to Velika Gorica were our daughter was dancing. We will definately be back love Clare mark and luca

The entrance of the building is quite depressingNot well iluminated it has a mold smell. In fact is an apartment building and only half of the first floor is used as aparthotel. The room itself is ok. Clean and it has the very very basic. Its well located few.blocks from downtown but certainly is not a 4 star. Some air bnb are better than this.

The hotel is within walking distance from major attractions. It is also close to supermarkets and restaurants. The host, Adel, is a polite and nice person, who gave us an upgrade for free. The room is spacious and has a mini kitchen, with all the appliances one needs. Wi-fi works very well.
I recommend this place.

Nice renovated apartment close to city centre. Communication from the owner was fast and very professional.

The Doma is not an Hotel but rather an apartment house. For a city-trip perfectly located very close to the center. However, not easy to reach while traveling by car. Limited parking space available, charge of EUR 10 per day. There are parking in the neighborhood at day rate of about EUR 15.
The house looks pretty old from the outside, but the room are newly renovated and well equipped. Literally your share an apartment with two other guest but all have their own bathrooms and share the entrance only. We very much liked the high room and the style.
There is no reception in the house, so call the reception and agree on a time to meet.

My check-in at Doma-Zagreb was a horrible experience. I booked a room at Doma-Zagreb for my business trip. When I reached the address mentioned, there was a notice mentioning dont ring the calling bell and found some contact information. I called to that contact number several times (for more than 2 hours), but no response from that number. After trying for about 3 hours one old man opened the main door of the building where Doma-Zagreb is located. Then, I knocked each and every door of that building since there was no sign board or anything written about Doma-Zagreb. All the tenants of the building were very angry and replied with a disgust expression. At that moment, what would be my mental situation, a girl from different country new in that place searching for that particular so called Doma-Zagreb with a luggage. I decided to leave that place and start searching for a hotel. But, I thought that I will try for the last time. I called him again, fortunately after waiting for more than 3 hours I heard someone picked my call. He said he was out of the station. Wowwww, how could he do that after knowing that one tenant is check-in on that day (I already confirmed and mentioned my check in time). I have visited so many countries so far but that was my worse experience.

We appreciated the fact that Adel met us after hours upon our arrival by train and helped us with our luggage up the staircase. The apartment was clean and in good condition, with a well-equipped kitchenette. The location is very good providing convenient access to public transportation, the main square, the city centre, etc. The only thing we were a little uneasy about was the phone photo-taking of both of our passports, as most establishments including big hotel chains usually just take down the name and number, etc. after verifying the guest details with the ID, On the day of the check-out, we did ask via WhatsApp to have the electronic records of our passports deleted after government registration which was the reason given for taking the photos in the first place. We were advised the photos were already deleted. Besides, we enjoyed our stay with Doma Zagreb.

Loved the clean, modern, quiet space. The proprietor was wonderful to deal with. We were happy to find the best breakfast EVER at the Omleteria nearby....especially because there seemed to be no other options in the neighborhood.

The apartment is in a good location, walking distance to the square and cathedral. Plenty of places to eat etc. The apartment is very clean and has plenty of electric outlets for devices. The tv has lots of English speaking channels but did not have BBC nor CNN. The bathroom could use a shelf for putting travelling items on. Over all we liked the place and would go back.

Overall - great place and great stay. The room was new, clean and modernly designed, with air conditioning, and its obvious that the owners put effort in the rooms and service. Location is good, all main attractions are within walking distance. The only three things that werent perfect are:- Our room was on the first (high) floor, no lift. The owner helped us with the suitcases on the way up. - Maintenance was a little off (leaky shower, hanger that dropped off the wall), but its not too bad.- Check in is a little tricky, theres no reception and you need to be in contact with the place and be there at exact times. We have just arrived from the airport and had some trouble finding the local sim we wanted, so it was a little difficult to be in contact with the place.
