Dirty, smells like public restroom, windows drapes are falling

My best friend and I got to hotel around 7pm, waited 10 mins just for someone to come help check us in to only find out that our room wasn’t even ready! They tried to offer us a room with a door that had no key entry then proceed to take us to a room that someone had already been in that hadn’t been cleaned yet. We had asked for a full or partial refund and they refused cause management doesn’t like “doing refunds”

Place seemed to be a local hangout for meth heads. First floor room facing parking lot with everyone able to see in the room if the blinds are open. Stayed for about 10 minutes and found another place.

The hotel has actually gone downhill, we had stayed more than a handful of times and with our dogs but would not go back now. Seems people are using it for extended stay and we heard dogs barking all night

We didn’t realize that this was more of an extended stay hotel. We drove up, and at several places around the building people are outside smoking. It was just a quick overnight, and paid for so we did stay, but was a little scary. Front desk clerk was friendly. Bedding had stains, towels felt super dingy, and didn’t smell fresh, so didn’t even want to use them. We left before 7 am the next morning just to get out of there.

A pickup truck was just outside my window with it's door open and loud music playing on into the night which was a little disconcerting , but it quieted down around 10:00 pm or so.

We enjoyed our stay, the staff and other occupants were so kind to our dogs and the room was spacious enough that we felt comfortable. The stove cooks more like a hot plate but was sufficient for grilled cheese and pancakes. Everything was clean. Towels and sheets are cheap, but what else do you expect at a motel. If you have sensitive skin maybe bring your own linens. One roach was spotted in the bathroom late at night. But it’s a motel in the summer in Texas, that’s to be expected. Our German Shepard Husky mix loved the king sized bed and a/c unit and people watching out the window. You can hear your neighbors, but it sounds like whispers, not even enough to make my dogs go crazy. The hall noise could at times but they respond to any door noise. If you need a cheap place to stay comfortable I’d recommend it.

Bad experience

I had to reclean the room and counters, they were filthy. Bed linens were bleach stained, bath linens werenl old and worn had to use my own. Hallways were full of litter and trash bags laying around. People smoking inside a non smoking property. Various people hanging out inside front and side lobby drinking beer in the daytime.

It was ok

Property was close to where we were going, but many little roaches, stove had only 1 working , and hair dryer didn’t work

Without a doubt the worst place we have ever stayed.
Chose it due to location for college move in day. Show up for our 2 double bed room.
One security door was broken.
Rang a doorbell for service and some ladies came in from a cookout to speak to us. They were wearing shorts and tank tops and appeared drunk.
They said our reservation was cancelled and they called/emailed us. Sorry but no.
The reservation was still active on hotels.com and was never cancelled.
They had 1 room left that was a king. No other rooms in the area so we took it and our son slept on the floor.
The towels were paper thin, the elevator and halls smelled like pee.
We heard a dog barking from 5pm until 4am.
I’d give it 0 stars but we lived and the a/c was decent.
This hotel should be removed from the website. It is disgusting.

Towels were almost rags, no shower mat, minimal supplies, kitchen but had to ask for pots, pans, etc, no breakfast, very weak coffee in room, bed was ok. After a month of hotel rentals, this one was on the bottom of our list.

Reeked of cigarettes in our non smoking room. The bed sheets were covered in cigarette burns. The room was so moist the floors bed and our belongings were damp.

Would like a full refund. Cops raided a room on my floor. Guns out and everything. Couldnt get back to my room and when i did i couldnt sleep. It also had not been cleaned in between. I was very upset and NEED MY MONEY BACK!

The room was mostly fine, only small things were not great (most of the complaints were people around me making tons of noise). The room smelled slightly musty, not sure if it was the AC unit or just that the room had not been used in a bit. The sheets were also not very clean (top layer was clean, the under layers were not).

We were there for a weekend trip to visit family, and hoped because the hotel was fairly new and the reviews were decent that our stay would be comfortable, but it was anything but. Our sheets were dirty, one of the beds had dried blood stains down to the mattress cover. The bathroom sink was clogged, and the towels were paper thin. The front desk attendants were polite enough, but never sent new sheets when I informed them about the stained sheets. They also smelled strongly of marijuana. We booked two rooms for two nights and spent over $500 on them, but for the quality of the stay, I would expect to pay half that. I would definitely not recommend staying here. Ignore any positive reviews and avoid this hotel at all costs.

Our bathroom had no linens and only one roll of toilet paper. We had to request washcloths & towels. Also there wasn’t any shampoo to purchase. The tv remote’s buttons weren’t responsive. Seemed to be really understaffed.

Besides the "shady" individuals hanging out outside the building, the lobby had a horrible stench, and was dirty. I was already late and just wanted to lay down. As i checked in there were 2 guest with barking dogs come through the lobby. When i got to the room, the room was disappointing as i didnt resemble the pics at all. One bed looked as if someone had taken a nap on it and just rolled off of it. I pulled the sheets back on the secons bed and there was discoloration on the sheets. I asked the front desk for a refund and stated i needed to call i.the morning. I left and got another room at the hampton which was great.

The door to the room could not be locked from outside. After one night, I was able to change to another room. The room was dirty. I used my own cleaning wipes to clean the areas i was going to use. The door to the bathroom could not close. The inside of the fridge was also dirty.

Towels were thin, almost like paper. Had to ask for more. No breakfast. Lots of scary looking folks there. Felt uncomfortable with my grandkids there.

We were checked into a dirty room that smelled like more than just cigarette smoke. Staff was unprofessional and we did not feel safe here at all. We left and found another room at the La Quinta close by. It was a much better option. I do not recommend this place. The pictures really fooled me!

The staff was super sweet 💛

There was only one staff member that was helpful and polite. Everyone else was very rude. I asked for more bath towels and she gave me 2 dish towels and said these will have to do. I ended up going to store to buy towels. Also reported the bathroom sink was leaking and the staff member ignored me.

It was quite noisy with banging on one side, loud rap music above us with loud walking, dogs barking. The rooms looked fairly clean, but the doors and floors and counters were oily. I guess whatever they cleaned the room with. Once we turned out the lights, roaches came out. We left when my daughter got up to get a drink and noticed the first roach. Turned on the lights and more were scurrying to find the dark. Went by the front desk and no one was available. People smoking weed out front when we left.

Property is disgusting. No internet, horrible mattresses, old and worn out bed linens and comforters, ratty towels. Also it had a kitchenette which was laughable, completely devoid of any pots, pans, dishes, utensils or glasses. Was told upon checking out that you have to request any and all items from the front desk, however no one volunteered that information upon checkin. Unfortunately i had made the mistake of paying for two nights ahead of time and i booked it thru Expedia so when i tried to cancel the second night before the first even began both parties pointed the finger at the other and i ended up having to pay for both nights even tho i left after the first.

This property has severe employee issues. The young woman who checked me in had to physically go hunt down a room that was clean to put me in at 4:00 pm on my ckin day.
The employees cleaning the rooms were having problems getting enough clean sheets to finish and release the rooms for checkins. The vacume cleaner wasn't working, they had it upside down and working on it as I was led to the room on the 3rd floor to check it out. It had been cleaned and one of the beds was finished. I ended NOT staying the night. The property itself was unkempt inside and out. The management needs to take a really good look at their employee situation.
