This was a great find, the rooms are really quirky but brilliant, comfy clean rooms. The pub downstairs was a traditional Cockney pub and the food was fantastic and the staff so friendly, Will definitely stay again

Terrific little spot. Staff was very kind. Please note, check in is at 3pm, so if you arrive before, there may not be any staff on hand to check you in or take your bags! Plan accordingly.

We'd always wanted to stay at a pub, and this one delivered. We loved Room 1! It had everything we needed, plus character. Convenient food and drink right downstairs and all the owners/management/staff were lovely. There are plenty of transport options in within a few moments' walk. We'll be back!

The overall stay I couldn’t fault. Checking in was great, headed straight to the bar and informed them was staying and was greeted friendly and welcomed into the pub. Taken to the room and the room was clean and tidy and had a fan in which was needed during this heatwave. The beer on the evening great and when asked where was good to eat they suggested over the road a curry house which was really nice also. They do offer food at the pub but fancied eating a curry. Overall couldn’t fault the stay 10/10 bed comfy, clean and had a great sleep.

The property was just what we needed, a safe, clean place to stay ! But we got a bonus of a nice staff and a room with character ! The hotel looked just like it came out of a Midsomer Murder set! I kept waiting for Detrctive Chief Inspector Barnaby to come interview someone !

The room doesn’t appear to have been dusted in a while and the one wall is carpeted which I’m sure has been left to gather dust since it was installed, there is cobwebs on the ceiling around the horn lampshade. The room is incredibly dark and the lighting is insufficient. The bed was broken so temporary fix was put in place which was fine. The window self closes after a while so had to stuff towels at the bottom to hold it open as the room is very hot otherwise. Which also means that it is very noisy with the windows open and around 6am lorries start collecting rubbish on a Thursday and Friday. I was called up by someone from the Foresters asking me why I hadn’t moved my belongings out as I was moving rooms however had not been informed previously of this and wasn’t able to go back. He asked if I was happy for someone to go into the room whilst I wasn’t there and I said no, when I arrived back someone had gone in and remade the bed with fresh towels. This is not what I wanted and had a do not disturb sign outside the door also. Checking in took a good 20 mins and was helped by two different people as the first one left me mid checking in to start bar tending leaving me hanging around for at least 10 mins before someone else turned up to help. For £100 or more a night this is not what you would expect and even though the bed was broken I was not offered a discount or complementary meal or anything. Very disappointing.

Lovely pub and very stylish room , it does have original stash windows which means you can hear some traffic but it didn’t bother me. Very cosy bed and enjoyed staying here.

Very good in every respect other than sleep due to the busy road outside. Room was large, clean, well decorated. The staff were friendly and amiable and the food was fantastic. Whilst the road outside was certainly annoying from a sleep perspective, the flip side of this is the proximity of the Foresters Arms to Kingston and Hampton Court Palace. Just bring your ear plugs with you and I am sure you will have a perfect stay.

Really nice pub. Lovely room. One small criticism. Very clean apart from underside of toilet seat. Sorry, I’m a bit of a hawkeye!
