Beautiful hotel in a great location. We appreciated the hotel staff's kindness in booking a tour for us, as well as storing our luggage before we caught a late flight out. The hotel is perfectly located within walking distance to many sites and public transportation. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We loved our stay at this great little hotel. Centrally located close to the metro with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. The hotel staff were extremely helpful with advice on trips out and restaurants. It was nice to chill out with a complementary glass of wine and chat to other guests after a day out. The do it yourself breakfast was great with fresh bread and pastries every day delivered to the room.

From our first welcome to the last farewell we were treated to the Dare Lisbon House unique brand of hospitality. The check in experience was superb and informative regarding local attractions (and a complimentary glass of wine), the room was luxurious incorporating a well stocked kitchen diner area and the location is absolutely perfect to explore all that Lisbon has to offer. Genuinely could not recommend this hotel enough, and the next time we are in Lisbon we will be very very disappointed if there is no availability as this would undoubtably be our number one choice.

Ideally located in the Baixa area -- could walk to everything. Incredibly helpful staff, offering all kinds of suggestions and making reservations. Each unit has a kitchen and is stocked with breakfast supplies (milk, yogurt, eggs, butter, jam, fruit), with fresh bread and a pastry delivered each morning -- it worked quite well. And the staff were more than happy to offer a glass of wine any time.

My husband and I did so much research when it came to where to stay in Lisbon. We chose Dare Lisbon House and couldn't be happier! The location is perfect....just one block off the main street, which made it quiet and comfortable. Everything is within walking distance! The room was so comfortable and the fresh parties in the morning were delicious. The staff will do everything to make sure your stay is fantastic! Thank you to Jorge 1, Jorge 2 and all the guys working at Dare....you made us feel so at home and our trip to Lisbon was amazing because of you guys!

Incredibly friendly and welcoming staff, it felt like coming home every time we stepped back into the hotel. I loved the eggs, fresh oranges for juice, yogurt, milk and fresh fruits (bananas and pears) fresh baked pastries and bread delivered in morning. The T-shirt with lovely greeting card was amazing. I would definitely stay here again!

This was a beautiful hotel and high quality room, bed, and bathroom. Everything was very clean and well done, and the room a modern design and well appointed. They offered free wine, free coffee, and supplied the room with free breakfast every day ( 4 eggs, 2 yogurts, many fruits, granola, cereal, bottle of milk, 6 espresso capsules, etc). When we checked in, George and Sara were very welcoming. George provided us an overview of the entire area, helping to orient us and provided numerous recommendations. We loved that the room had very nice air conditioning, a nice living room space for eating breakfast, and putting on shoes to go out, etc. We had a great experience here. The small areas of improvement or inconveniences we noted: 1) it seemed we ran out of hot water at night after the first person (we are two people) took a shower, and halfway through the shower of the second person 2) there were very small silverfish bugs (typical of older buildings), but they were not a big problem

Amazing experience! It’s more like a luxury apartment for me. The room has kitchen, dining area and bed area. Big windows. Perfect location close to everything. People are so friendly and nice. They offer complimentary drinks to refresh or coffee at their front/lobby every time you are there. Feel very safe, been taken care. Love this place. Highly recommend!

Brilliant and very nice apartment Hotel right in the midst of city centre. Appartments modern, very clean, well equipped. The staff all are very friendly and attentive, you even get wine for free at the nice little bar in the foyer. The metro station is only a few metres away, all the sights can be reached easily.

This hotel is in Close proximity to restaurants,shops Loved that we were provided fresh bread and pastries every morning. They had also given us eggs,milk,yogurt,cereal and fruit for our stay The staff was friendly and knowledgeable for recommendations. Very helpful with directions, tours etc. I would definitely stay here again

We loved staying at Dare House. We had a deluxe loft room which was very spacious for family of four, and kids liked the kitchen and making their own orange juice. Location is great with pedestrian only streets with restaurants and shops just outside the door and staff were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

A gem in the city! The morning bread/pastry drop off and the supply of breakfast ingredients was wonderful and a great way to start the day. A very central location, easy to get to the main attractions, felt safe as well! The staff was extremely helpful, we especially enjoyed speaking with George ll, Joanna & Thomas, they were very kind and provided us with great recommendations around the city and the areas beyond! Would highly recommend staying here, we would definitely stay here again!

We had an absolutely wonderful experience staying at this hotel. To say the staff go above and beyond would be an understatement. They made reservations for us, planned out top destinations with maps... just fantastic! Starting off your day with fresh pastry and bread, need I say more. I couldn't recommend a better hotel!

Lovely decor! Our room had original Portuguese tiles and even some exposed walls from the original construction. The bistro table in the kitchen was appointed with fresh fruit, bottle of wine and bottled water. The fridge was stocked with eggs, yogurt and more fruit. There was also an espresso machine. A generous number of coffee pods. There was a stove, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher. I could go on and on. And as if it could get any better, they deliver fresh bread and pastry every morning to our door. The was an absolute delight for this husband and wife!

Faultless property. I have never stayed in accomodation to this level.The 200 year old building has been renovated to the classiest level but exposed stone, old windows remain to honour the building. Chandeliers, pure woollen throws, brass mirror all point to interior decoration to the highest level. Guests are greeted with ideas for their visit. Ie We were going to do tha Hop On Hop Off bus tour but a suggestion was made to do the TukTuk tour which was much better as they were able to negotiate the narrow streets. Situated near the main square with many dining options. The daily delivery of bread, pastries with fruit and yoghurt made it a dream stay.We wondered what our pastry would be. Oranges and an elecric juicer made breakfast a joy. George's tips, as all the staff, were very helpful. The bathroom is sleek....but a couple more hooks would have been welcome but proably not possible on the sliding glass doors. Very quiet. Enjoy!

Right from the first step into Dare the team made us feel like we had been best friends forever. They were so accommodating and gave us the best tips for what to do, see and where to go for some specific shopping that we needed to do. Everything was comfortable in the room and the breakfast setup simply great for us.

We had high expectations and it didn’t disappoint! From first arrival the staff were warm, welcoming and helpful. Rooms were perfect, great facilities and the fresh bakery goods every morning were a treat. Ideal location with a 5 min walk down to the Rio Tejo waterfront and 2 min walk to the Metro. Would definitely stay again!

I stayed at Dare House in July for 3 nights with my family in the 2 bedroom suite. It was great, clean facilities, lots of room and the morning delivery of fresh bread and pastries was well enjoyed! Staff are fantastic, friendly with lots of suggestions of things to do and eat and they helped us book a tuk tuk tour. I’d go back to this property given the chance

Such a perfect small hotel in an amazing location. Incredibly friendly and welcoming staff, it felt like coming home every time we stepped back into the hotel. The room was spacious with a kitchen dining area and the bathroom was generously proportioned. We really enjoyed the daily bread and pastries, and freshly squeezed orange juice (diy). A free glass of wine and free wine in the room was also such a lovely touch. I would thoroughly recommend Dare Lisbon House.

The Dare Lisbon team was great to work with and available 24/7. Great recommendations for touring, dining - very welcoming. The property is great and the breakfast and kitchen were great to have even though we did eat out for most meals. The location is in the middle of the city center and you can get everywhere easily. Even with its location, it is quiet. Frankly, the only noise we heard overnight was from neighboring door rooms and only on the last night. I’ve filled a passport with travel and would highly recommend this place. I would definitely stay again.
