The stay here was not what we expected. It was run down and our room ended up having a leak from the ceiling due to an overflow of the TOILET from the room above which leaked all over our luggage. When we notified them, the manager didn’t offer a new room right away, and said they would “take a look.” It wasn’t until we said our stuff got damaged, that she offered to move us to an ADA room which was not as nice as the one we paid for and had less accommodations that what we paid for. The manager also did not offer any reimbursement or upgrades until we had to bring it up the day before we left, in which she gave us about an 1/8 of our 6 night stay. It wasn’t even a whole nights worth reimbursement. Her attitude was also as if it was our fault, yet we had to move the entire room during our vacation time.

We booked this hotel for 9 nights. When we arrived to hotel at 1 am after 24 hours flight with 6 luggages and they said they "accidentally" sold our room and they can't help us for that night! They also mentioned that there was a game that day and it was very busy so it was obvious that they sold our room with a better price. There was lots of people who were with us and told that their rooms were also sold. It was unbelievable that we had to find another hotel for that night at 2 am and no one helped us!!! After we found and stayed in another hotel, we came back for our stay other day and the manager didn't even feel or say sorry about what happened! I never ever recommend this hotel to anyone because you can never know if you have the room or not!!!

Rooms were spacious great place to stay to access New York city whilst not being involved in the hustle and bustle 24/7.

The hotel it’s beautiful. The suite 1020 was super nice and clean. The only complain is that the breakfast food you guys can do better. The 2 toasters are horrible and takes a long time to get a toast done. The bananas were not there every day, only white bread. You can update the coffee maker. Too bad that you can’t serve cappuccinos. I hope you improve the breakfast food thanks

I really enjoyed my stay, it was in a very convenient location and it was very relaxed. The room was lovely, felt like an apartment which was so handy and nice! I would say the service wasn’t top tier but it wasn’t too bad!

Needs Improvement in Customer Service Training
I’ve stayed at this Marriott Residence Inn last year and again this year, and while I generally enjoy the hotel, it’s clear that more attention is needed when it comes to customer service training. The reception staff seems to change often, and while some individuals are excellent and very helpful, others are not equipped to handle even basic requests.
The rugs was dirty they had to change me from room, the second one was better but still dirty rug, the tat need a deep cleaning.
For example, I recently needed to make an international call, and when I asked the receptionist how to do so, he simply said he didn’t know, adding that no one had ever asked him before. He didn’t offer to find a solution or speak to a manager, which was disappointing. I believe this could have been handled better with proper training.
While I love the hotel and appreciate its amenities, the customer service aspect really needs to be addressed. I also noticed that the reception team seems to be composed mostly of young men. I didn’t see much diversity, with only one woman present when I was checking out. I think the hotel could benefit from more diversity and inclusion in their staff.

Beautiful room. Everything was new. The location is near the Harbour with ferry crossing to Manhattan.

Room cleaning was not really cleaning but more fixing the bad. Breakfast is very basic; with a little more investment, it could be more like breakfast in other Marriott hotels in the chain. In addition, the hotel hosted two weddings in the same week. The noise and high volume of the music annoyed the guests, although they shut it off at 11 p.m. How come we had to suffer two nights in the same week? A lot of guests complained about that.
The good thing was the location just in front of the ferry terminal, which made it very convenient to access the city. and two nice restaurants very close to the hotel + a lovely promenade.

The location is fantastic. The NY Waterway ferry is across from hotel. There is a riverwalk around the Hudson River with the NYC skyline. There is a grocery store within walking distance. AND the hotel is beautiful. Feels like a home away from home.

We had a great stay. The room was amazing! It had a little kitchen and a bar to eat at. The bathroom was good and clean! The cleaning ladies worked day and night. The people at the reception where amazing and a good help. For us the breakfast had not much options. Just toast, youghut oatmeal and cereal. It had 3warm things what changed, but where not fresh, just warmed up in plastic wrapped stuff. We would have liked to see more fresh option and like cheese of ham or chocolate to put on the toast.
We loved the ferry. It was around the corner and brought you to Midtown from here it was a 20 min walk to time square.
We had a great stay!

Beautiful views of NYC skyline but that’s it. Once you park in the parking you’ll have to pay each time you move your vehicle so God forbid you have to run to the store because you forgot something. Staff was ok. Not overly friendly or welcoming. Room was semi clean but the sofa bed was absolutely disgusting.

Tranquil Stay with Unbeatable Access to NYC!
My stay at the Residence Inn in Weehawken, NJ was fantastic! The room was spacious and well-equipped, with a cozy living room that had a sofa bed and TV, a kitchen with a refrigerator and stove, and a separate area with a king bed and another TV. The free Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, and the complimentary hot breakfast was a great start to the day.
The location is incredibly convenient, with Port Imperial just a short walk away. The ferry to Midtown Manhattan was quick and hassle-free, and the included free buses at the Midtown terminal made it easy to get around the city. The ability to hop on and off the bus at any stop along the route made commuting back and forth effortless and dependable.
What made the stay even more special was the quiet and tranquil atmosphere. It was the perfect retreat after a busy day in the city. I highly recommend this hotel for its comfort, convenience, and serene environment. I will definitely be returning!

I have stayed here several times. This time, the hotel seems to be under less enthusiastic management. Only one elevator was working for 6 floors of once very well run hotel. Asked for sheets, pillows and linens for fold out sofa in our room, and they arrived almost two hours after the first request was made. Something about the one person had gone on break. After the third request they finally arrived after 9 pm. This isnt motel 6. With parking, two nights was $700 dollars. I know the cost of living in the New Jersey/ New York area is high, but as a senior citizen, when I pay $700 for two nights at a hotel, I expect a better experience then the Residence Inn offered this trip.

Perfect location on the Hudson if you want to visit NYC. Ferry conveniently located right in front of hotel. Parking was easy but parking payment kiosk was not taking card payment. Luckily I had plenty of cash on hand. Location was great! Breakfast was ok. Shower door did not close all the way. Sleeper sofa mattress uncomfortable. Light over kitchen table did not work. A few maintenence issues but location and view made up for it.

Amazing location: I can see the Manhattan skyline; ferry station just around the corner. However, parking here is a bit confusing. The parking garage is external and not affiliated with the hotel at all, which means you directly pay with the garage just like any garage, without in&out privilege. This is somewhat inconvenient. The breakfast is below average. All food is pre-packaged. No bacon or sausage.

Breakfast station ! More option maybe and a new TOASTER. For that quality of establishment, pretty sure you can upgrade the toaster and avoid the line ups.

The property is in a great location close to the NYWaterway ferry terminal with three stops across the river. The ability to catch a ferry nearly every twenty minutes is amazing and a great way to start an adventure each day with a jaunt to the city.
There were a few significant issues though with our stay - notably the advertisement for a "city view," or as the fine print reads "partial city view" suite . . . the city view that we had was a sliver of uptown mostly obstructed by the giant parking garage that was outside our window. For the additional amount to be in a room with an apparent view this was highly disappointing and the major reason we chose to stay at this location - ease of access to the city - with a great view of the NYC skyline . . . which we absolutely did not have.
Other smaller issues included not having the pillow(s), sheets, and blankets for the sofa pull out bed - I called the front desk with no answer, walked down to ask for the linens, and after 45 minutes of waiting (my son was asleep by then) I went back and asked. thirty minutes after that the sheets, etc. were delivered. When we checked in they started they were in the room . . .
Continuing with the other small items were the ice machine that did not work, the lack of a fan (listing said a fan was available - when asking the front desk individual stated that he gets asked for that a lot and the advertisement needs to be changed), and a strange light setup.
