Lewis was phenomenal in making my stay a great one. The sunrises are breathtaking. Highly recommend as an alternative to the loud beach areas on the island.

The resort was wonderful! Mr. Achmed, Elizabeth and the other staff took very good care of us. The resort was very relaxing and the beach is beautiful. I have never seen ocean water so gourgwoua. We really enjoyed watching the locals play soccer. Great stay, great experience!

As soon as you enter the hotel, you will be greeted with the most beautiful view of your life, leaving you at ease.
The place is exceptionally safe with a fantastic staff. The hotel owner, Mustapha, is truly amazing and has extensive experience working in 5-star hotels in Dubai and Egypt. The chef prepares an incredible coconut curry sauce, and the beach is simply stunning.
The tide goes out for about 2 kilometers, creating warm and shallow pools where you can relax and observe starfish and other sea creatures.
It was so enjoyable that I didn't go on any excursions because I was extremely happy with everything the hotel had to offer. The hotel rooms were impeccably clean, and the air conditioning worked perfectly, and there were barely any bugs.
Additionally, it was mango season, and the villagers were very friendly, making my stay even more delightful. I had an amazing time overall.

I loved every minute of my stay at Isla Bonita. The staff, the location, everything! If you are looking for a little bit of paradise this is the place. This morning I left my room and walked into the ocean and it felt like heaven! Mustafa and Ahmed are fabulous hosts, they really care about their guests.
I've moved on into Stone Town, it's loud, smelly and so busy - I'm already wishing I was back at Isla Bonita and it's only been a few hours! If you are looking for a tropical escape with good food and relaxation - look no further!!

Very beautiful place and very quiet. The staffs were friendly. Our room was cleaned everyday. There is AC in the room if you don’t want the humidity filled in your room. There is also breakfast in the morning. Though the food choices are limited, otherwise everything was perfect.

Pros:We has a very peaceful and restful stay at the Isla Bonita Zanzibar Beach Resort. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful as are the Manager and Assistant Manager. Great location. The village behind is full of life that you can observe and enjoy while lying on a lounge chair under the umbrella, facing the beach, or from the water. Lovely beach. Very safe for children. You can walk for hours. The food is well prepared and fresh. Rooms are clean, comfortable (air con) and Wi-Fi works admirably.
Less Pros (no Cons): The hotel is a bit remote (but it is what we wanted - a million times better than staying around Nungui...); taxis and airport shuttle are available through the hotel. We hired a car at the airport and it was ideal to discover the island. Sometimes the electricity went down, but not a major issue. Food options in the hotel is limited but it seems that case in most places. Need to know the rule: order your dinner in the afternoon to avoid long wait for dinner (it applies everywhere). A little fridge in the room would be good. When we left, safe boxes were being installed. If next room guests are noisy, you might hear it. But there cannot be people noisier than that awful riff-raff family of six staying for few days. Their behaviour was well handled by the Manager after I complained.

Absolutely loved our stay here! The staff was fantastic, the views beautiful, and everything clean and neat. This place is a tremendous value. The road to it is a bit rough but the place is worth it. It is not a very crowded area so the beach is generally pretty empty and the water is beautiful, calm, and shallow for quite a ways out. Highly recommend this place!

Amazing stay. It's a pretty small hotel (10 rooms all facing the beach), and we had the whole place to ourselves when we were there! It's still new so they're still figuring a lot of things out but the staff are super helpful. Endless beach, mostly just locals around. Lots of seaweed but that's typical for the entire east coast.
Would recommend renting a car if you want to get around as there aren't too many activities available in the local area.
