My second stay here. Great location, good value for money and the hotel is clean. The room is super small (basically just the bed and have many strange rules and fees (new towels you can order only until 10AM,showers are closed after noon, penalty for every 30 mins of late check-out…). But overall good and I would stay again.

As a solo traveler, the room itself was adequate in size for sleeping on a raised floor with mattress and limited luggage/backpack storage space. Have a shared shower, toilet, laundry area to use and a common area on main floor to eat and microwave food. There is a free storage area for luggage if you arrive early or for when checking out to retrieve it later in the day too. Staff was very pleasant to deal with and clean facilities. Location was close to Nishiki Market, Gion District and shopping.

The hotel is close to the Nishiki market and with it many food options. The hotel staff were friendly and there was a wall of tourist information (where to go, how to get there and some context for the destination). The keycard could be put in a lanyard provided for safe keeping and loungewear/towels were provided daily. The showers were clean and come with body wash and shampoo only.

Perfect location. 10-15 minute walk to Gion and right beside Nishiki Market. Very clean and tidy. Pocket seems a very apt description for the small room but that's all you need when you're out exploring Kyoto all day!

As a solo female traveller, this accomodation was excellent. This hotel is located just a few steps from the Nishiki market and is very walkable to nearby shops and the metro. The amenities were great for the price and the staff was incredibly helpful with any questions I had. They also will hold your luggage/bags before and after checkout if needed. I felt safe and comfortable here. If I were to travel solo and if i had a tight budget again, I would choose the Pocket Hotel in Kyoto.

Very convenient to shops, food and places to visit. It's more like a hostel. The room was small but good for just sleeping. SeeThe train station exit was very close to it, but the exit is actually quite far to the platform.

Very disappointing experience. The staff at the check-in didnt inform about the fees they are gonna charge us, also the rooms are extremely small (actually it is just a bed, nothing else) and in the rooms you can hear everything from other people.

I really loved this spot! It was close to a lot of stuff or in easy walking distance. I think the room was perfect for a solo traveler and as a solo female traveler I felt safe in the hotel and area!

For the price, I was expecting a bigger room, or a private toilet/bath. Shared toilets were clean but a bit of a hassle to get dressed to go to the loo. I didn’t even try the shower. It’s in a different floor! The room is about 150cms wide. It’s literally a capsule with a high roof. The location is excellent, though.

Room was definitely cozy, but the hotel had everything you need for a stay. The shower and restroom areas were kept very clean and hotel was quiet. Staff was helpful when I had some trouble checking in and was English friendly.

A modern, well thought out hotel experience. Good bathing facilities and well-kept shared bathrooms made for a pleasant experience. The room was spacious enough to get changed and hang clothes, and the bed was perfectly adequate. The only real concern was the noise made by other guests in the halls late in the evenings which was not taken care of by the staff. Normal noise would be fine, but running up and down shouting shouldn't be acceptable.

Great location for tourists, convenient and easy to find. Rooms are spacious. Better privacy and sound-proofing than most capsule hotels. Mattress and bedding are quite comfortable. Bathing area and toilets are very tidy, with frequent cleaning. Self check-in/out are available on two machines, but staff are also happy to help when needed

Great location, very central but down a side street so very quiet! The staff were lovely and very helpful! Amazing stay for what you pay! Highly recommend, also very safe for solo travellers. I will be back to stay again!

the hotel has all the anemities you would need to get ready in the morning and evening. it even offers lounge wear for your stay. the only thing missing is a fridge. and we found no power outlets in the room. the men's shower room is on the first floor. which is the only gripe I had with my stay.
