After communicating with hotel letting them know I would be arriving late, and they acknowledged that I would be late.. when I arrived they had given my room away. The person that answered the door was kind enough to call a different hotel and get us a room.. I do appreciate that very much or the rating would be much lower.

We arrived at 1:00 pm and according to the listing in hotels.com, checking is at noon. The policy at the hotel is check in at 3. No attempt to accommodate us. Policy is policy according to the clerk (who we eventually learned he is also the hotel manager). We chose the room because of the in-room hot tub. Upon check-in, we were told that due to water restrictions in the city, we couldn’t use the hot tub. With no A/C, we had to have the windows open. The room is just above the busiest street in the city with constant diesel smell/noise, horns honking, and people yelling. The shower head was so restricted that the water flow was nothing more than a trickle (no bath tub) and what water did trickle out constantly fluctuated from freezing cold to scalding hot. The complimentary hot breakfast was delicious, though. Overall, I consider this hotel to be the worst I’ve EVER experienced! We have nicknamed it “The Hotel from Hell.
