One free breakfast for a 15 day stay. didn’t know marriot bonvoy member (I partially blame myself and Expedia). Cleaning people come at 11 and then it’s on you to get them back. Ridiculous. It’s called making a second round and checking the light. I was almost out by noon. Good 1 free breakfast. Friendly staff especially the guy out front tall short white hair, there’s construction and that’s fine but annoying until it’s done because there’s likely a shorter pathway to the subway stop when buildings are complete (blooming area). There’s good and bad. But I was more tired at end of this than in the beginning even with jet lag. Woken up by annoying house cleaners. Always outside my door seemingly. I wrote them a note to come at 18:00 and clean and not accommodated. And I absolutely can’t stand 11am checkout times especially in the middle of the week and I didn’t even stay my first day but had to get a room booked because the flight gets in at 6am and check in is not even early at 4pm!!! Not Las Vegas where cleaner need to clean up puke and this and that. It’s a weekday in Taipei. Even in Vegas it’s a 4 hour turnaround. How do you need 5 hours?

We stayed 2 nights. The room was large and comfortable with a fabulous bathroom (separate tub and shower). Nice comfy robes were provided. We had a busy itinerary so unfortunately didn't get a chance to use any of the amenities. We'd stay here again.

Lovely room--not big, but not cramped--with every comfort and amenity. Gorgeous view of the lush, green mountain at the edge of the city. A bit far from downtown, but just a five minute walk to the busy, pleasant shopping and eatery area around Shilin Metro Station. My only complaint was that the lobby, though beautiful, has very little hang-out and seating area for guests, outside of the pricey bar and restaurants.

Arrived around 1:30 pm, checked in then told couldn’t have room until 4 pm which we found unacceptable. We were told they would email us when room was ready so we went out, actually received email at 19:24. Room was supposed to be a king double but it had a settee/child’s single bed in it which really didn’t fit making the room too compact

It is truly a JW Marriott family of hotels. As soon as you walk in you are greeted with the familiar JW Marriott perfumed smell. Staffs are all very helpful and rooms are clean. Would definitely come back.

I had a two night stay at this hotel with my hubby for a weekend vaca. The service here is extremely good, staffs are well trained and very welcoming, but two suggestions here for improvement, 1. The breakfast could be a lot better in terms of food tastiness and quality. The hash brown’s greasy and the omelet lacks flavor. 2. We were locked out of our room with room key disabled at 10:50 while the checkout time was supposed to be 11:00. Two suggestions here to make this place incredible :))

Hotel is clean and comfortable. Staff friendly. Chinese restaurant the dishes are delicious and not oily. Breakfast buffet lack varieties. Quiet ambience. Easy accessible .

I like it a lot. Very friendly, helpful, and kind staffs. I like everything but food choices. During my 4 day stay, Breakfast menu was same. Same vegetables, same pasties, same breads, and same sauces. A little boring breakfast. Other than that I really enjoyed this nice clean hotel.

When check in front desk staff shared a lot of negativity statements with me, make my stay with your property become less interested. Having my dinner in your shanghainese restaurant, I am standing on the front kiosk for more than 7 minutes despite the entire restaurant it has 2 tables serving external customer and 1 table serving an internal "sales" team staff her friends and the restaurant captain was too busy chit chatting with the sales staff and her friends totally ignoring me. In fact I'm being sitting and express myself available to make order and there is no other customers coming, I'm being waited for another 8 minutes to placed my order. This is the worst ever experience that I have in a 5 star restaurant like this. However I must said I received a very good service when I am checking out on early morning and special thanks to a staff who saw me on my way out from my room and assist me to send my luggage to lobby. His help comes in a rite time and I must send him my appreciation myself.
