The innkeeper was very friendly and made us a great breakfast. It was easy to walk to a restaurant.

Owner was very kind and gracious. The accommodation was a bit overlooked with attention. We had spider webs hanging from the ceiling in the bedroom, and there was no hand soap to wash our hands in the bathroom. We had a nice breakfast, and the Inn itself was old and had some charm. The grounds had lovely flower beds. The bed was only a double size, but it was comfortable.

We really enjoyed our experience at this historic property. We stayed in the Suzi Room. It was large and comfortable, as was our bathroom. The owner cooks delicious, full breakfasts every morning and is a very nice man. We’re very glad to have met him and stayed at his property.

We liked the location and the antiques. The shower head was very black and nasty and the shower curtain was molded. The outside lights were like spot lights and very bare window coverings; therefore the room was lite up all night long. Got no sleep at all.

Host is a perfect blend of being interested and interesting. House a tad rundown, like chipped paint on outside doors, but minor. Location lovely Breakfast and kitchen amenities wonderful

We had a lovely stay at the Eddington. Make reservations for Pangaea well in advance during the autumn season. Our room was very comfortable and we hope to visit again.

Loving the Eddington House - location is perfect walk to small restaurants like Pangea in North Bennington and for a stroll across the campus of Bennington College. A delightful host and experience.

The inside of this Inn is clean & inviting - the outside not so much. It needs a major facelift, esp. the main entrance to the establishment. The website boasts of multiple awards, but from 9-10 yrs ago. (New owners arrived 8 yrs ago.) Unfortunately, the building sits next to a busy 3-way intersection. making it nearly impossible to sleep in the front rooms due to an endless stream of motorcycles and loud trucks into the early morning hours. Mark serves a great breakfast, but I won't be staying again.

The Eddington House Inn is absolutely charming. The rooms are spacious, clean, and cozy. The staff went above and beyond to make meals, including making accommodations for our vegan diet, and provide amenities. The only thing that was slightly confusing was locating the parking lot and main entrance. Will definitely be back!

Reservation was made through Expedia. The day before check-in I asked Expedia to cancel and refund but Mark, at Eddington House, said it was not cancellable/refundable so I told Expedia I would just keep the reservation but, when I called to check-in the next day, Mark told me the room had already been rented to someone else. He had cancelled my reservation, kept my $241 and rented my room to someone else without telling Expedia or me. I then called Mark at Eddington House to see if I could reason with him but he acted like such a child, saying “sue me if you want a refund”, then he hung up on me and stopped accepting calls from me and from Expedia. I know this seems unbelievable so here is the Expedia case number (S#130069744) in case you want to verify my/Expedia’s side of this story.

Quant Bed and Breakfast in the North Bennington village with access to local restaurants and eateries. Owners are superb hosts who provide clean and well appointed accommodations, and a superb complementary breakfast. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a home away from home feel.

Nicely maintained and run B&B. Great art and antiques. Convenient location to area that includes great museums, hiking and history. Excellent breakfast. 24 hr coffee/tea/snack service was great. Would definitely stay again.

My son and I spent just a single night here so that he could attend a sports event. Breakfast is was home cooked and fabulous. The location was perfect with a few places to eat lunch or dinner within walking distance. Loved that there were only 3 rooms in the Inn making it so very quiet and restful! We arrived at 11am because checkin time is mistakenly listed as such. We were welcomed to wait in the front room while they quickly cleaned and readied our room but we opted to go grab lunch up the road. We felt bad about it but when we returned just before 1, everything was ready. If it was a little warmer, we might have explored around outside a little more, we decided to rest instead. Our bed was so comfy. We would definitely stay again if we are ever in the area!
