Beautiful location. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. From the bar, restaurant to the rooms and gardens this place is lovely. It’s clean and rustic but has all the mod cons which makes it so comfortable. We will definitely be back and will stay longer next time.
Nothing. Having to leave!

Fine
Toilet seat was broken at the front and would not stay up
Without you Holding the seat.
As my husband has a stoma he has to kneel on the floor to empty the contents and noticed the toilet seat had a strong smell of stale urine on it.

The room was clean, bright, quiet & comfortable with an excellent view of the estuary. There were tea & coffee making facilities and yummy cookies.
A jacuzzi bath was a bonus with great toiletries.
There wasn't enough space in the lounge for many guests to sit & have a drink. The addition of weekend papers in the lounge would be a good idea as there is no TV to watch and no local shops to buy a paper.

Everything was so nice. From all the friendly staff to our room. We booked last minute and had a superior room that was well worth the extra money. We would love to go back and have already recommended to friends and family
We would have preferred to have been offered fresh tea and coffee with our otherwise delicious breakfast

Really lovely rooms, with high quality furnishings and super comfortable bed.
Sustainable ethos, explained on the brochure.
Homemade cookies made it even more special.
Very little, but if I was being ultra-picky, I'd suggest popping cushioning on the feet of the dressing table chair (hearing our neighbours scrape the chair on the floor was a bit annoying!).
9.0
The warm room, the layout and how the room looked.
When we had a shower the water ran out the shower room into the bathroom and towards the door. I'm not sure if it needs a stop or a shower door/curtain to prevent that.

Very attentive staff and a very clean and presentable place.
unfortunately the four poster bed was very uncomfortable. During the night there was a constant tapping from the central heating pipes.

The location is simply beautiful, the Inn is welcoming and the staff are accomodating .
We were staying over for an event, the first room we were given had twin beds but both beds had wheels on top of a wooden floor and they shot across the room at the touch of a finger, we asked if there was anything could be done as they were so dangerous you could not even sit on them, we asked if there were locks on the wheels but there wasn't, it was suggested at first that the staff could attach the beds together, put the side tables at each side and use a door wedge under the bottom! This would not of improved the situation just meant that both beds would move across the room together, I'm awaiting a disc operation on my neck and spine and we really felt it was too dangerous. We asked if there was another room available and the lovely lady who was assisting us went to ask the manager, she came back and said she could clean the room next door as soon as possible for us! She did this straight away and to a high standard, we were thankfully moved to a beautiful room with a bed that stayed put! She was soo helpful and apologetic, a real asset to the Inn, thank you again, The reviews below were for the first room allocated, the bed in the room we slept was very comfortable.

Lovely location, fresh, clean pub.
No shower in room, £100 for room only is a little steep. Haricot beans for breakfast is never a good idea.

in a peaceful, serene setting away from it all, overlooking the water. the rooms and restaurant were beautifully decorated, our room in the Coach House was very spacious and supremely comfortable.
Food was amazing with plenty of gluten-free options, and the service very attentive, warm and friendly.
Nothing, it was all perfect.

Thank you all, a beautiful hotel and room, and the friendly service from you all. hope to come again in the near future.

rural quiet clean
nothing to note but room wall must be thin as next doors snoring was loud and irritating

The wonderful views of the seafrom our room, the food and service.
I am left side impaired and getting to the upstairs room wasca challenge. Everything else was good

The breakfast was good. The location was remote and interesting (as we expected) but rather bleak when we were there. The hotel is well appointed and very tastefully decorated (both our room and the public areas).
We didn't like the limited menu with no options but the set menu. The beetroot starter was very good as was the chocolate dessert but the meat main courses were disappointing. The pork was too tough to eat and we sent it back; the lamb portion (two small cutlets) was inadequate and barely cooked. The best thing we ate was the bread and shiso butter. Also the self-congratulatory nature of the "eco" credentials of the hotel was a bit wearing. Regarding the accommodation - our room was attractive and well decorated but as is with many hotels it appears to have been designed by someone who doesn't stay in hotels. There were almost no places to put things down - nowhere in the bathroom to put a wash bag, nowhere to hang a coat and the size of the (very attractive) lamps on the bed side cupboards meant there was limited space to put belongings beside the bed.

Very friendly & helpful staff throughout our three-night stay at this lovely secluded hotel away from all the holidaymakers elsewhere on the island. The freshly cooked food was absolutely delicious - and from a unique menu. Our room was very clean & adequate, and was refreshed every morning, with fresh bottled water also supplied.
We were in the twin-bed Room 1, but there was no nice view - just a frosted glass window which through the small opening looked onto guttering running between two roofs.
If there are lots of people in the restaurant below then the noise can filter upstairs into the room.
The Harty Ferry Road leading to the hotel could seriously do with some TLC, but that's down to Kent Highways! Drive carefully!

Yea/coffee all provided, no milk! The hotel did provide though when I asked.
