We had a wonderful experience at this exceptional one-of-a-kind hotel. Our suite, with its private balcony, was perfect for our party of three adults. Excellent breakfast. Friendly, helpful staff. Located in the Psirri neighborhood, with its many restaurants, and within walking distance of the important historical sites. Highly recommended.

It was the perfect stay to experience Athens! The staff were so friendly and I felt welcomed. I would highly recommend staying here. The location was perfect and there were many great restaurants that were close by.

The team are exceptional. Very friendly and informative. And has a great rooftop bar which has a lovely garden and fresh pizza and delicious wines. In a great position and the breakfasts are outstanding. Delivered to your room and can have in room or on the roof. Room was quiet and bed comfortable.

Spacious well equipped room. Really accommodating staff. Breakfast always delivered on time. No issue for us but room BO on the ground floor is opposite a bar that is open until the early hours and then cleaning starts around 7am so is noisy with the windows open. Would recommend a stay here.

Loved it. Very friendly service, tended to our needs immediately. Breakfast was delicious. We were able to walk to the Acropolis. Rooftop restaurant/lounge was perfect with a perfect view of the Acropolis.

We stayed room A0 which was excellent. Plenty of room to relax after a busy day. Breakfast was excellent, with lots of options and extras too if you wanted to save some for lunch. We loved the roof top patio. Service was very friendly. Excellent walking location to the Ancient Agora, Acropolis, etc. We loved the stylish interior and laid back vibe.

This is a great place for anyone wanting to spend time in central Athens and enjoy home comforts into the bargain. A superb breakfast is prepared by the delicatessen opposite and the fully equipped kitchen allows options and flexibility. Very helpful front desk staff are always on hand 24/7 to help. Comfy beds and great location. Literally, a couple of streets away from vibrant city life. Superb.

We were at the Foundry for 2 nights and wished we could have stayed longer! The staff and room were amazing and the breakfast basket and the rooftop garden bar were such fabulous amenities. Walkable distance to shopping, restaurants an the Parthenon and local attractions. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

The hotel is lovely, the roof garden is blissful with tremendous views of the Acropolis, the staff are wonderful. One glitch for us was that our room (D1) directly overlooked a pub/club 5yds away which made sleeping impossible until 1.30am. As we were shown to our room the apologies began about what to expect of the noise. After the second night out of five we said if we couldn’t be moved to a quieter room we would have to move hotels and we were moved to a room on the opposite side of the building, lovely and quiet. I empathise with the hotel with this problem, even though we knew it’s a city hotel, because the club arrived after the hotel opened.
On positive notes, there is no kitchen at the hotel so breakfast is delivered at your chosen time either to your room or the roof terrace in a wicker basket with lots of good quality food that you order the night before and it was not only ample but really tasty. Good Nespresso coffee machines both in the room and the roof terrace with capsules provided.
The hotel itself is proper urban chic, beautifully designed and a pleasure to be in.
The roof garden is a treasure in its own right.
This was a great base to walk all over the place from during our five days and we would happily stay again, room dependent.
Athens restaurants are gd value, do seek out Sisinely. We are proper foodies and we still ate there twice.
May is a lovely time in Athens, great temperatures.

Great spot in city centre, walking distance from all main sites. Highlight is the roof terrace with view of the Acropolis. Spacious room with stylish decor and well-equipped kitchenette. Very reasonable bar/minibar prices. Rooms quiet at night despite being so central. Staff very helpful advising on best local clinic for drop-in Covid tests and with airport transfer.

I loved the design, the service, the breakfast and the staff. The property was a nice surprise, I’m glad that I found it because I was planning to book a different place. It’s very close to Thissio metro station and within walking distance to the major sites....very convenient. I would stay here every time I visit Athens.

Amazing stay! We usually stay in good hotels but this was the best hotel I ever stayed in. We liked their different and fresh concept, combining the best service of a five star hotel with the comfiness of an airbnb appartment. Super service - and I mean super being used to 5star service. The staff was very charming, professional and helped us with everything and almost became our friends. The entire hotel is renovated and designed in a really cool and artsy way using just the best of materials and furniture without being pomptious or too designy. Everything also worked - which is often the problem with fancy bathrooms, etc, in hotels. We loved in particular the beautiful roof top garden. We liked the unusual breakfast concept which is a picnic basked served either in the room or on the terrace. The location is really cool in the middle of Athens just a few steps away from the Acropolis. The bar across the hotel is really sharp, too, and good new restaurants are popping up in this up-and coming district lately. Very good prices for both rooms and mini-bar items (you have your own kitchen with full fridge stuffed with bottles (!) of nice wines and small snacks). In particular if you stay longer and need a little apartment this hotel is recomended.

My luggage did not get on my plane and as a result - I arrived in Athens with only my carry on. Very stressful. The staff at the hotel were excellent in assisting me in tracking it down and went out of their way to assist. - notwithstanding it was not their issue. I am very grateful.
I loved everything about the hotel and highly recommend it.

The Foundry had such excellent reviews I really had high expectations. We were very happy with the room. It was modern, clean and had an industrial feel. It looks just like the pictures. The rooftop bar was very relaxing, again, just like the pictures. Unfortunately, I found the concierge/ front desk person who greeted us to be very condescending and put out by any request for information. Based on this experience, I would not stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay very much.
Unfortunately, our unit was H1 right by a very noisy restaurant/night club which kept us awake every night.

This place is amazing. The hotel is new, so its very clean. Its located at the edge of the Psiri district, which is just beside the Plaka district. Closer to Thissio station than Monastiraki, but were talking about a 2-minute time difference in terms of walking (3 minutes from Thissio, 5 from Monastiraki). The beds and pillows are great, the bathrooms clean with good water pressure and shower drainage, the rooms are all cool, with more of an awesome apartment rental feel than that of a hotel. Breakfasts, which were included, were plentiful and delicious. The view of the Acropolis from the rooftop makes meals and drinks that much tastier. So many cool restaurants, bars, and cafes within the surrounding blocks. A little less touristy than the Plaka. Certainly there are still many tourists, but you get the sense that locals also enjoy this neighbourhood and these establishments. You may feel like youve taken a wrong turn somewhere as you walk from Thissio station to the hotel. The area seems a little rundown and deserted, or just not a place for tourists. It is safe - as safe as any other part of Athens.

This hotel (apartment) is awesome. First, the hotel is less than a year old and is really unique. According to one of the front desk staff it was built over ancient ruins from the Roman period. The lobby is really cool with a glass floor looking down into the wine cellar that has walls from the Roman period that they built the apartment over/around. Fantastic design and kudos to the owners/architect! It is a mix of rustic and contemporary with a touch of mid century modern. To put it simply, it’s very cool! It is very close to the Metro (200 m) and is simple to use and get places like the port to get to the ferry’s for island hopping. The apartment is a two story loft style and is fantastic. It has a full kitchen, comfortable living room, and a loft bedroom with the most comfortable bed ever! It is very quiet as well. The team that took care of us bent over backwards to make sure we were taken care of. There is also a 3rd story veranda to have breakfast (speaking of breakfast when we had to leave early they prepared a huge breakfast to go-awesome) We mostly dealt with Theo and Theodore. They were great and management should be proud of their professionalism, as well as the other staff. We can’t say enough about this place. We were really taken care of and it made our vacation that much more enjoyable-truly, thank you!

Different and clever in every way. Beautiful, modern and retro. Excellent service. The pic-nic at the roof terrace (with a view to the acropolis) will make you start the day with a smile.
