I wouldn't recommend staying at this hostel, particularly if you end up with a room facing the street. The rooms have wooden windows that offer little sound insulation, and the street noise continues throughout the night, making it challenging to get a good night's sleep. Furthermore, the prices for drinks here are higher than the local rates.

Close to city centre, excellent food in the morning and also in the evening (best, compared to other restaurants we tried in the area), helped us find a rental car/motorbike and gave us good recommendation on the must see and do in Santiago.

Very friendly, helpful staff and owner, delicious dining options, convenient location

Good Casa with oldfashioned and comfortable rooms. Breakfast is 6 euro per person and day. They also offer dinner.

Very original premises. Maybe a little too original. Unique property, but unfortunately 10 hours without power makes for a fairly sweaty sleep.

Our stay was only for one day but seemed a nice place.

Stay was very nice. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Recommend their breakfast as it was very good. They have a very garden like dining area. Vey peaceful during breakfast. Location is close to all the tourist sites and parks (within walking distance). Parking in parking lot across from the property, very safe. Room was large, with a fridge. Staff spoke English and I spoke some Spanish. We had NO problem communicating. I did improve my Spanish speaking.
Definitely a must for a visit. Also chance to mingle with the Cuban people for better understanding of their culture and life. They are a very happy and friendly people.
