We stayed in the casa for a couple days. The price was definitely not worth it. The only positive aspect and kindness was that we could leave our big luggage’s at the place while traveling around. Other then that we had a quite bad experience. Starting with the fact that we told the hostess that we will be there at 3 pm and we won’t be able to connect them because we have no SIM card. We had to wait over one hour and then they only came because a nice neighbor helped us reach them. Furthermore they were not prepared, we asked him if he wants to see our passports. He would have forgotten it. Then the room was clean, and the bed was comfortable and big. However the room was very stinky. It was unbearable. And the towels were missing, which annoyed us. But we decided to use our own towels.Because the hostess did not seem to understand us well and as he would be annoyed or surprised by us.However that was a mistake because we were accused to have stolen the towels the day we left. Which is unacceptable and hideous.
With that accusation they also claimed us to have left with out saying goodbye or telling them when we will leave. Which again we did, the day we arrived. We are not fluent in Spanish but that we could communicate and he even asked if we need a taxi to the airport, which we declined. But after the first interaction we have not seen the hostess again. So we left the room clean and organized the morning we had to leave, without saying goodbye because it was 6am.

André was amazing. Breakfast was terrific. I booked this hostel by accident thinking it was a hotel and I still wasn’t disappointed.
Great location to all kinds of sights. Outstanding food options and lovely people.

Good location to Plaza Vieja and the ferry terminal.

The host was very attentive and friendly. Good communication between us.

The room is great but it’s really noisy. Make sure to bring earplugs if you are sensible to this.
We just say in our 2 weeks trip in Cuba that the host wasn’t our favorite but everything went fine during our stay. Breakfast was really good and the Wifi signal was perfect, which is not frequent in Cuba.

Great location and walking distance to dinners

Nice room with clean and new sheets/towels. Hreat location. But the shower has no vent and the air in the room was terrible and damp. Wouldn’t recommend it.

Violeta and her husband were very friendly, helpful hosts. The breakfasts were delicious and plentiful. The room was clean and a good size, though the noise from the fridge was a bit of a problem in the middle of the night. The location was excellent for anyone with reasonable fitness and health, being only two blocks away from Plaza Major, but if you have physical health problems you may struggle with the five flights of stairs to get to the apartment. All in all I would recommend the casa for its friendly hosts, excellent breakfasts, clean, spacious room and location.

Casa Violeta is a clean, comfort and safe place to stay In Havanna, Habana Vieja - Old Havana. Everything you want to see and explore is nearby here. Location is also perfect. The hosts Violeta & Andres and their hospitality was excellent. I recommend their casa 100%
I will remember my trip to Havanna long & long time, Thank You ! :)

Casa Violeta located strategically in Old Havana (Habana Vieja). The casa is just 1 block away from Plaza Vieja (the old square), the most pretty square and has its special crowd at night. Walk another block from Plaza Vieja, you will find San Francisco Square. Casa Violeta also 10 min walk to ferry terminal if you willing to cross to Casa Blanca and 15-17 min walk to Central Park. The host, Violeta and Andres, try their best to make my stay convenient. They also prepare breakfast (by request) for CUC5 (or USD5) and you can buy internet card in the casa. It already feels like home. The picture represent the real place I got. Recommended to stay here!

We can recommend this Casa to anyone. A very good place to stay in Havana Vieja. The rooms are clean and well cared for. The hosts are very kind and took good care of us. The breakfast is fresh and well worth 5 USD. Walking distance to all major attractions. When/If we go back to Havanna we will absolutely stay here again!

Violeta is a wonderful organizer for other legs of your trip around Cuba. Her resource of other Casas Particular is great for a moderate budget. All places had the standard, as in ample breakfast for $5 extra.

I do like the hospitality of the Andre and Violeta, the owners of the Casa. They attend to us so well.

This is by far the best place to stay at in all of Havana Vieja. everything is brand new and sparkling clean. The hosts are two of the kindest and attentive people you could ever meet. The apartment is walking distance to all of the sites you'll want to see including restaurants and local shops. I would recommend this apartment to anyone traveling to Havana who wants to stay in a safe, secure clean home.

The location and cleanliness off the room was good. Only problem is toilet in the house has no door. Ginet (the daughter of the owner) was a good English speaker and organizer. Andreas is a good man who likes helping the guests but he doesn’t speak English. In summary we really like the casa and definitely recommend it.

The room was nice my own bathroom in the room and very comfy :) MOST IMPORTANT VERY clean! The neighborhood was in a area of locals :) and away from loud noice but it was just perfect, bc everything were just steps to just anywhere.
