This is a massive resort and sadly was like a ghost town while we were there. The spa facility is amazing and reasonably priced. The pool is also large and nice to be around. However there was not many people staying for such a large resort, you can tell they are struggling to maintain the grounds. We ate dinner at the restaurant once and the only ones there. Reception staff were friendly but other staff not so much. Easy to get to Ancient Hoi An town. Door out to balcony could not be opened although I never asked either. They only issue one key, which was inconvenient. Buffet breakfast was ok.

I found it was a great place to relax by the pool and the room cleaning was fantastic and staff very friendly and would highly recommend it to my family and friends

Context of our review, we are full-time travellers, with 4 children under 6 years that stay in low budget hotels, Airbnb’s, all the way to 5 star.
Let’s start with saying, that this hotel experience to be honest was just weird and eerie.
Absolutely massive resort complex with retailers however all vacant and closed giving it an eerie feel.
The resort is right on the beach, which is amazing to be able to walk to straight from your room. The beach was nice and calm for swimming with kids and great for long walks into the sunset
The pool we always love a good pool was absolutely enormous, the downside. It always looked very cloudy and extremely hot so in 33° hot weather jumping into the pool felt like going from hot to hotter like a spa.
The resort would not allow food from outside, however hotel food was not great so that made it challenging for our family.
The breakfast is huge, but just horrible quality, the staff in the breakfast are also very cold feeling. There’s no warmth in engagement with them.
There’s a kids club, which wasn’t bad. There’s an outdoor play equipment also not bad.
Rooms have been recently renovated. We had glue seeping up from the wooden floors throughout our whole apartment onto our feet for the whole week which you can imagine we were sleeping with.
Housekeeping stuff on the other hand were, Ahn - she was fantastic.
Not sure we could recommend this hotel as there are too many other competitive hotels around

Stayed for 10 days and while there was a bit of a language barrier at times the staff were always friendly and helpful. It was a very relaxing and enjoyable stay.
This is a family friendly resort with great facilities for both adults and kids.

Huge resort but all the on site restaurants were closed due to lack of numbers staying

We are family of 5; 2 Adults and 3 energetic young boys and this hotel was absolutely perfect for us! The pool is incredible and with direct access to the beach there is so much to do. Just a short walk down the beach there is a wide variety of restaurants and bars to keep the adults entertained.
The service we received form the staff was impeccable. James, one of the senior staff, introduced himself to us on the first day and gave us his WhatsApp. Any small issues we encountered, he solved for us immediately.
We stayed two full weeks, and will return here without any hesitation

It service so good , very nice

We loved the pool area and the beach. It’s great for adults and kids, with great playground and waterslides. There is a poolside bar with snacks and light meals. Our room was modern and comfortable. Our only critic the lack of cooling aircon at breakfast in dining room.
Staff were generally pleasant and helpful.

Lovely hotel, the staff were amazing, friendly and very helpful. It’s a big complex but felt quiet whilst we were there. We booked a large room and had an issue late one night; they didn’t question us and moved us immediately despite the time. The air con is needed on all night which can be quite loud but the rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable

Very beautiful property, nice staff, pool/ pool service great. Now for the cons - be prepared to pay for everything single thing here, even water. Not only that, everything is much more expensive on the resort. For example, our average meal in Veitnam was $350K VND for full meals & multiple drinks. At this hotel, we simply had sandwiches & one drink each (beer & soda) and cost almost $800k VND. Our most expensive meal. The beach area has no chairs or umbrellas. There is also no night entertainment Because of all of this we hardly stayed on the resort. If you plan on exploring Da Nang, I wouldn’t recommend staying here as there’s much more affordable lodging options. However, if you’re looking to stay on the resort the entire time for extreme relaxation then this hotel might be worth it
4.0
This is family friendly accommodation with tropical style swimming pool and gardens.
The buffet breakfast catered for all nationalities.
The cinema is attached to the complex but apart from a small convenience store there are no shops etc.
The rooms and beds were a good size and clean. If there are people talking down the hall the voices and footsteps could be heard easily.
Staff member Hong who looked after the evening restaurant was very professional and looked after us.
Most staff spoke English but we never assumed.

Great beach and poil

Just close to the beach. Others just so so. But close a small village that has a lot restaurants and mini shop is good.
Staff is ok except waitress in restaurant and receptionist, they are not willing to provide you the invoice after you paid the bill when you check out. Concierge will call to your room and remind your check out time 20 mins 5o due. Spa and massage is ok but Jim jil bang do not have snow room. Swimming pool is ok. Bed is ok but water pressure is quite low. I get ocean view room but brunch of houses or villas alomst 200 meters in front of your window till the beach line and they are just lower than your window. There are also 2 big buidlings on your left and right hands of the window which block your ocean view. Also the window is too blurred to see the outside scene.

Great Location - easy to get into the Old Town and a short walk down the beach to An Bang. We had an apartment which was fine, except that there was no cutlery and nothing to cook with if one was thinking of doing meals. The breakfast was very average but adequate. Access to the beach was simple, but there was very limited shade provided on the beach. Overall it's not a bad place to stay and while I probably won't stay again, I wouldn't dismiss it as an option if you get a good price.
2.5
Fab hotel with lovely pool area and right on the beach . Wonderful location. Easy to walk into An Bang where there are many bars and restaurants. Short taxi ride into wonderful Hoi An which was a delight.
Our room was lovely with the best most comfortable bed we’ve ever slept in . Also a great laundry service .
Huge choice breakfast .
We had a great stay at this very reasonably priced and very comfortable hotel.

Great property. Clean rooms, nice pool, close to the beach. Staff is very friendly. Would highly recommend this place.

Very nice experience

More variety of food in the pool bar and a larger balcony would have worked better.

This place was really nice. It is a very "Americanized" hotel. it is more expensive (both to stay there and to eat there) than other hotels. And they also have silverware (no chopsticks, like we found at other hotels) The property is HUGE. It's one of the biggest hotels I saw there. However it looks like it either isn't finished, or it is partially abandoned. It looks like some day it will have a large mall inside it for shopping (indoor) as well as an outdoor mall that feels like you are off-grounds. I imagine when these open that they will be a lot more expensive than the Vietnamese markets (which are crazy cheap) but it would have been cool to walk around the shops if any had been open. There is also a movie theater that looked like it may have been open, but we didn't go. Our room came with unlimited spa, which I thought would be a little more than it was (just a hot sauna). We were there in the "cool season" and it was still 90 degrees and humid each day, so we weren't interested in more heat. The beach was very quiet and clean. As with most beaches in Vietnam, you will have the beach to yourself for most of the day (Locals do not go to the beach other than sunrise/sunset) The pool is MASSIVE and you can easily find places to swim alone, even if there are dozens of people in the pool. One thing to mention is that there are no drawers in any hotels (or few drawers) so plan accordingly. Super nice place to stay. Just need to drive to go anywhere off-resort.

Beautiful property, lovely variety of food offered at restaurant, buffet breakfast for delicious, service staff at the resort were lovely especially at restaurant, everyone so lovely and helpful. We had a late check in kitchen was closing and staff organised room service so our family could have a late dinner as we were so tired from travelling, the pool at resort is amazing just gorgeous, pity lots of shops and businesses closed, lots of empty shops but didn’t bother us really it’s 15 min drive to old town, easy to get taxi or grab, day spa facilities were lovely.

Wonderful hotel, we loved our stay there. We were upgraded to a 2 bed apartment as the pool was closed for our first couple of days, the apartment was spotless, everything looked new, 2 big bedrooms and 2 bathrooms living room/ kitchen diner in one and a lovely sea view, the breakfast was really good with lots of choices and the little cafe on the site does excellent food and drinks. Seems like there were a few places closed but this did not affect our stay, lovely helpful staff and easy to get into town using grab taxis, would definitely recommend staying here we had a great time.

No complaints from us on this one. Very nice stay. Great staff and great breakfast!
2.0
Staff were great. Service was excellent. Loved the breakfasts - plenty of selection and really good food. Pool is beautiful but it was closed for annual cleaning except for our last day. Great beach. Building needs some minor repairs from moisture leaks/condensation, but very minor. The vendor shops are all closed, probably due to slow COVID recovery. Price is great right now. This place would normally be 2-3 times the price, but it’s 3/4 empty right now. Highly recommend

Very good stay.
Beautiful pool everywhere very clean.
Staff very friendly
Good breakfast

The pearl is a great place to stay. Great for families. Rooms are clean and tidy. Modern amenities in rooms. Also great to have lots of bottled water and large water container for refill. Pool area is great. Staff also really friendly and good with local recommendations. The only downfall is many shops no longer open, maybe due to Covid. You have to travel into Hoi An to get snacks etc. we also traveled into Hoi An to go out for meals as not many options close by. We used grabs as they were cheap and easy to use to transport in.

Nicw rooms and pool area. Clean. Nice location on the beach, which is beautiful.
But the hotels is located outside City senter.

We stayed at this property in June 2023. The property is a large resort by the beach with a good outdoor pool area. The problem with this hotel is that it is set up to cater to mainly larger groups of Chinese and Korean Tour operators. Most staff have very limited English and the facilities in room are poor. We had a Premium Deluxe ocean view room. The outdoor balcony areas had no furniture and the lounge area had an outdoor sofa as the only furniture in room. Getting simple things like extra glasses or ice is impossible and the laundry service prices are excessive. I would definitely not recommend this property to any one not part of a larger group tour.
3.0
We booked this property thinking it had numerous restaurants and shops within it, boy were we wrong. A very small 7/11 shop was open along with a coffee shop 1 restaurant and a travel agency. One other restaurant did open while we were there though. Spa services not available.
There is a new manager - David, who had only been there 3 weeks but you can really see he is going to make a difference.
The staff speak very limited english which makes it hard. The pool is AMAZING and the breakfast also great, however with limited daily changes to the options. Alot of food also ran out quickly and it was slow to have new food come out.
We had a family room (2 bedrooms) but there was no cutlery, no pots, pans etc to cook with. No teatowels or ability to wash your own dishes. If you book a family room, ensure you request all of this upon arrival.
Rooms were cleaned daily though and left immaculate. And staff were accommodating once you found someone who could understand you.
Location is away from the hustle and bustle of Hoi An but absolutely fantastic if you have children. I would stay closer to Hoi An township if i travelled here again.
4.0
Pre COVID this hotel would have been busy and the promoted facilities all available. Unfortunately post COVID shops are closed, there are limited evening eating options and it requires a lick of paint and pathways repaired.
Staff were helpful and pleasant. The gardening team maintain the grounds to a high standard.
Hopefully tourists will return and the hotel will regain the footfall required to fully bring it back to life.

Or that great. It was probably a great place in its day. Needs maintenance bad mildew and mold smell in the room that no cleaning products will remove. Asked for a different room they claimed they were fully booked but I insisted and go a different room that also smelled but at least the view was better. The whole area I was in was empty except for the person right next to me. So the hotel was only 40-50% booked. They only use a part of the hotel as much of the buildings are empty or unused. many of the stores and spa services are gone. Like a ghost town. Reception not that great. It’s ok for a night or 2 loads of tour buses unloading people so if your there individually your forgotten. I sprained my ankle and they had no first aid service to help or bothered to do anything. Not worth the money of a resort. Hot pool broken and uncomfortable wooden deck chairs on the beach no drink service on the beach. I guess because nobody goes to the beach. I loved it the water was perfect no people it’s also pretty clean If your looking for luxury this is not it. The cleaning and servers are nice and will help you if you need them. Bellman also great. You definitely need to rent a moped because nothing is close by
2.5
The resort is well-maintained and offers excellent amenities. The rooms are spacious and equipped with quality facilities. The breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of options. The pool is clean and enjoyable. However, the restaurant facilities are lacking, and the beachside bar closes too early, especially during the summer season. The front desk staff should be more proactive and welcoming in their approach.
4.0
Beautiful beach side location. Very clean, spacious and comfortable room.
Lots to choose from in buffet but some not the best quality food, got told one morning we had to sit outside which felt like it was to protect other guests from the heat and sun, doesn’t seem fair.
Tried to book the shuttle bus but due to only one vehicle available for this service, always missed out. Also with the bicycles, one day they were all in use by 9am and the next day we were told that service was no longer available and was only for the public holiday, no one advised us this in the beginning, shuttle service and bicycles shouldn’t be advertised if it can not be provided.
No soundproofing within the corridors and rooms, other guests completely unaware or caring of how loud they are at any time of the day.
No organisation or staff assistance to manage the crowds at check in desk or breakfast buffet, makes it an uncomfortable experience for other guests.

I was so very much looking forward to our stay at this hotel. Which may be why I was slightly disappointed. I’m guessing covid hit this area hard. We booked a 3 bedroom apartment. There was no crockery or cutlery in sight! When we enquired it was 300000VD per day to hire! Which I wasn’t told about on booking. There was very minimal dining options. Shop after shop in the hotel leases where empty. The cinema was still running. The pool was great. The gym air conditioning was off on my morning visit and couldn’t figure out how to turn it on and there were no staff around to ask. The complimentary hotel bikes needed maintenance desperately. Mine had no front brakes and the crank was coming off my husband’s. I didn’t get to used the tennis courts as there was a fee.
4.0
The breakfast spread is perfection—lots of options! The pool is nice—water is a little too warm. Beach is right there though to get cold water. Quiet and relaxing. There’s little markets inside the hotel and always a taxi available. Only thing I was very disappointed with is there is NO SHUTTLE from hotel to airport as listed on website as listed. Also their blow dryer is excellent.
1.0
Staff at reception was unfriendly and not helpful at all during check in (which was late but no real effort on the staff to let us know when we could check in after a couple of delays) and check out. A particular staff was rude when we asked if they could turn on the fans in the reception area as it was hot and we were expected to wait around for final checks of our room. Won’t be staying again at this place nor recommending it to anyone due to this.
2.0
We found this resort very strange. It’s a huge complex with lots of empty buildings and very few people around. We got a great deal on the nightly rate, and the beds were the most comfortable we’d encountered in the 2 months we spent in Vietnam and Cambodia. Breakfast was also good.
3.0
Pool area and kids room were ok. Access to the private beach area was welcome. However bfast was disappointing.
2.0
It was a wonderful stay. An exquisite room, lovely food, superb service... the only thing I was disappointed with was the amenities for little children (between 1 and 6). There were no children seats for the bicycles; kiddy activities were not suitable for less than 6; and the kid's club would not watch over kids under 6. It was a shame as we hoped to get an hour or 2 to ourselves to really enjoy the hotel, but that was not the case... I would also say, that the bicycles need maintenance!! We have told staff that we had a near accident with a few (brakes not working or chain jamming), but we were only thanked for our feedback, rather than doing something about it. Apart from those two things, superb stay!
