Uber / car can't reach to property address as road does not allow non pedestrian traffic. You need to carry your own luggage till property. Bath tub was dirty like it was 100 years old. Outlet water of AC was into a bucket which we need to through out regularly into bathroom.First two floor of building are shops of saree and suit jewellery etc...makes it shady hotel. Smell of dry cement and and mud is everywhere in hotel. Rats are jumping into property here and there
If you open window you see an old demolished building right next to you. Before checking hotel sends message that you must pay now if you want to keep your booking which is a violation of payment at property rule. Two days after checkout hotel sends a tarrif bill way more than what you booked for which makes no sense. Expedia customer care says to ignore such messages

Property was in bad shape. Very dirty. Bathroom had all kind of problem. The property manager was asking deposit or advance money even though in Expedia web site the property was booked as pay in hotel when check in. The property manager was the most horrible person I had met ever. While traveling he keep asking about money. When we reached hotel there were no towels in bathroom. We were families of 2 groups 4 adults and 4 kids. travelled almost 12 hours, we were expecting clean toilets and at least some towels, but it was just opposite. Toilet was very dirty and smelled very bad. Hotel should give back money if they don’t deliver quality. I paid almost 11,000 INR for 1 night for two rooms and we were expecting quality rooms. Either they charge less if they don’t have facilities or at least mention these horrible situation in hotel rooms so family folks who has kids don’t book this horrible hotel Sahu.

The hotel location is excellent and is located near main market. I stayed with my wife and 1.5-year-old daughter. Following are the pros and cons in my experience: Pros: (1) The hotel is very welcoming and the environment is friendly; (2) Every staff, be it from cleaning, restaurant, or guard duty, are very helpful and genuine. (3) Hotel lobby is very spacious. (4) Room service is free. (4) Quality of food is excellent. (5) WiFi connectivity is good inside the room, but it does not work in the restaurant area.

I have visited Varanasi many time but my experience at hotel sahu was verst and their premium rooms were like at slum, bedsheet were turned, ac was not working, water supply in washroom was not proper. If their we opinion of negative rating i would be given that.

Great location, really pleasant and clean rooms, but the thing that makes this such a good place to stay are the staff. All of the people are incredibly helpful and generous with their time and advice. We travelled with two six year olds and lots of luggage and despite the stairs up to the elevator this was one of the nicest places we stayed in the four weeks

Hotel Sahoo is amazingly beautiful with a very soothing interior and also a very eco --friendly terrace with a warm hospitality. A beautiful place to relax and makes us feel -at -home. i had a great experience during my stay there. The rooms are very classy with all the facilities to fulfil our needs. The food served there is very delicious. And also not forgetting to mention about the management, who are very pleasing. After a tiresome travel it was exactly the place I wanted to be at.
The staff over there is helpful and available at no time. They helped with everything such as cabs general information regarding benaras and ganga arti.
The hotel also helps with good contacts for pooja and darshan.
The food over there was tasty and palatable.
The rooms were clean and upright.
It has the best hospitality treatment.
All in all I would like to revisit to this place whenever I'm back in Benaras.

It's a very good place to stay with family. They arrange your tour along with different tour operators, they have a good restaurant and serve almost everything from breakfast to dinner. They provide excellent room service.Their check in and out time 12-00 noon. If your flight or train timings didn't matching with your hotel's checkout time you may keep your luggage at their separate luggage room and can rest at their big lounge with out any changes. Evening snacks are really excellent. If you are TV addict you may face some problem because the 2 two rooms we stayed found both the TV sets were malfunctioning. They have a good operational lift ( elevator) and they assist aged and wheelchair dependant guest for quite and safe movement. In my opinion it is a reasonably priced, centrally located hotel af Varanasi.

Even after confirming one day before that we will arrive in the evening please keep our room ready. On arrival our room were not ready. We have to wait for the room . Our room’s bed sheets & pillow cover were not changed. They were smelly and dirty. You can see hair on them. Our bathroom toilet was broke and water was leaking all over the floor. For two persons only one towel was provided. Even after requesting 2 to 3 times no towels was provided. No toiletries was provided. No bathroom tissues. Even after our request they ignored it.
