The hotel is due to undergo a refurbishment. We had a family room 3 single beds. 1 double bed. The beds. were so comfy. Slept really well. the quilt covers. Pillow cases and towels were spotless. Nice clean and fresh. The pillows even had pillow protectors in them. Our room needed an vacuum over but we were only there for 1 night , toilet and shower separate a bonus. Breakfast adequate plenty of choice. If you dont want a 4 star for the money would recommend 👌 staff friendly and helpfull. Breakfast staff seemed a bit rushed but was busy .

The positives about the Bluewaters is definitely the staff! They where, helpful, polite and very pleasant.
The breakfasts were very good, lots of choice and plentiful
Unfortunately, what let the hotel down was cleanliness - the dust in our room was so thick you could write your name in it, the cups/glasses hadn't been used in such a long time they had a skin of dust/grime on them - though the bedsheets/duvets did seem to be clean.
Sadly in need of an update - but for whatr we paid, we can't complain

I have just returned from this hotel and it was pleasant but I'm not overly sure I got the room I payed for I booked the bigger room size and ended up in a very small room on the ground floor I've booked again for next may before I came to stay this time and to be honest I'm coming for a birthday celebration and a hen do I'm just hoping I'm not let down next time

We had a ncie time.

Very nice hotel to stay in, with a very reasonable rate. The only issue I had was that the lift was out of order all weekend. Otherwise, everything else was excellent. Friendly staff and good food too. Would recommend.

Simple, spot on for a night or two. Did the job. Shower not great

If u want to be met with HIDDEN charges then this is the place to stay! Advertised a pool no where on any of the websites does it state there’s an additional charge until after you have booked which is unfortunate if it was non refundable room. The bathroom was filthy which I cleaned myself and it was full of hair and dust. Waited over 5 minutes for someone to actually arrive at reception to check me in and zero information given other than the room number and the time of breakfast. Advertised as near the centre it is definitely closer to the north end! Paid the extra to have breakfast included which was actually ok. I feel the website does not match the building at all and it’s a complete catfish hotel that false advertises

Hotel was average as hotels go. Check in was smooth and they had a drop box for check out. The walls were paper thin so we could hear the people in the next room throwing up. Our room was basic and could have done with a lick of paint. The bathroom did not appear as if it had been cleaned at all, stains in the toilet and shower dirty. Breakfast was good and there was plenty of this along with choice, our friend who stayed at a neighbouring hotel paid £9.50 to join us, ours was included in the price. If you want to park outside the hotel it’s £6 if you pay at reception for 24 hours. If you pay using the app for NCP it’s £14.95. It’s about a 10-15 minute walk from the Blackpool Tower away from the general bustle of Blackpool.

Very basic room, not cleaned the best.. hairs on floor and dusty bathroom floor, cracks in walls. Also very noisy until late at night but thats due to other guests.. single glazed windows so can hear almost everything outside too. Dont think it was worth the £117 a night price tag to be honest but my kids enjoyed there time at the seaside and thats all that matters.

Lovely stay

Lift was out and was on the 3rd floor 😫
Was in a triple room, but it was so cramped and nothing like the photo.
Had a sea view, but the windows were filthy.

The suite we stayed in was lovely, nice and clean with an exceptionally comfortable bed. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. I would definitely recommend.

Fantastic hotel, pool was great. We had a lovely time.

After visiting the property several times in the past you could really see it deteriorating this time and sadly we won’t be returning. The lady on reception was really nice and accommodating and tried her best to cover all stations she was left to deal with.

Was a good stay good location one tram stop from north pier. Pool is good .window in room wouldnt open so was given option of another room or a fan whichbi was happy with. Great staff although 1member charged me a higher price for the same drinks.

Hotel was a little further away from Winter gardens than i thought but walkable even in a Blackpool breeze. Room wasn't ready on arrival but only a couple of minutes to wait. Room was ok, clean enough but the skirting boards needed a good clean, bed lovely and comfortable. Room was on the second floor and we never heard any noise from inside the hotel other than people that didn't close doors gently. Road noise as it was busy all night. Shower was cold or colder. Plenty of choice at breakfast. We didn't have time to use the pool or other amenities. Would stay again.

Noisy 2nd floor doors banging till 4am. Can hear people from the bar area. Only blinds at the windows letting a lot of light in.Staff helpful and friendly. Comfy bed. Be careful where you park £15. Paid parking but got a £60. Fine.
3.8
Friendly staff, room basic but adequate, good choice at breakfast.

Waited a long time to check in on arrival ,nobody at the desk. We were queueing. Had to ring hotel. We were told we had to go up 4 lots of stairs(lift was broken) we had a toddler and a baby ,bags to carry.. no offer of help.no apology for the inconvenience.
Room had a smell of urine. Found the carpet was soaking(leaking radiator??). Toilet seat broken. Hot tap opened the wrong way and was loose. Asked for another room. Was told there wasn’t any, maybe tomorrow(this wasn’t followed up)
3.8
The room was clean but could have been cleaner and there was no soap dispenser at all, the rooms badly need redecorating. The hotel was very noisy at night, slamming of doors and you can hear the people in the next room, but the hosts were great and it was a good breakfast.
3.8
Comfortable bed but decor outdated and the tiles on the ceiling were disgusting.
Breakfast was mediocre.
Water in-between double glazed glass.
In complete need of a renovation.

Very friendly staff

Lovly staff lift did not work but comfy room and the pool was realy fun
3.8
Nice and comfy bed, shame about all the stairs

Arrived at the hotel, looked ok from the outside. Room needs a good clean, shower had black mould some of the grout black. Ran the bathroom tap and black spots floating about the water. No curtains in the room, just blinds so sunlight came through early. Also gaps under the door which meant light from hallway came through & had to put a towel on the floor to block it. Bed was comfortable enough & linen clean. Staff were lovely& enjoyed breakfast.

Excellent stay warm friendly atmosphere was made very welcome

Loved how it was on the sea front and really handy to the Tower and everything, staff were amazing and so friendly, our only compliant was that the hotel was a bit tired, but good value , thank you
3.8
Welcoming, comfortable room, great breakfast, friendly staff
3.8
We really enjoyed our stay and the value for money couldn’t be better. The lady on reception is vey nice. Had lots of fun, pool is very nice and so was the breakfast.Only problem was the old man who worked as night manager. He refused to let us in our room when my friend was still out with our key. Shame he ruined it by leaving us waiting on the steps for 45 minutes.
3.8
We definitely got what we paid for. We got a great deal for a one night stay with breakfast. The receptionist lady was very helpful and friendly. We really enjoyed our stay
3.8
Good facilities, if basic, for a 2/3 star hotel. The building is well located and the rooms were clean and tidy. As an old building the floors are quite creaky but there are plans for upgrading. The one big plus was the staff who were very friendly and helpful. Would consider returning in the future.

Stayed gere with my 3 grandchildren last week. One if the reason's for booking was the pool.
Yes you had to pay but as I had read the reviews I was aware.
Shame we coukdnt book the 2nd night of our stay, I would definitely recommended you book asap for time slot, as limited bookings because size of pool.
Breakfastp was good, we ate in hotel one night, basic but ok.
Staff very friendly and will give you advice of area, trams etc. And wirk very gard.
Yes its not 4 star hotel but neither is cost of stay.
Yes it woukd benefit from money being spent to upgrade areas, buf on the whole value fir money.
Would i stay here again, yes for pool and staff.

Clean freindly staff are very helpful with anything. Lovely hotel

The first room was “ok” but the shower was broken. Moved to another room that was tatty and not clean The room was freezing cold. Wouldn’t recommend this hotel as the room was very run down and tatty, bathroom was disgusting. Not a great stay

The property was
Too far away. This was my fault thinking it was further down from where it was. Hotel was clean good customer service. Breakfast was good . If not for the distance would stay there again
3.8
Comfortable beds clean place. Friendly polite staff. Lovely swimming pool and sauna payable and booksble at reception. Hotel lift was out of service and.we really struggled, Maybe be better to inform on booking that the lift isnt working, and advice of room floor. . We stayed bed and breakfast there was ample food was warm not hot. . We shall return . .
3.8
this was very dissapointing . the room is on you tube and i thought i got someting nice off hotels .com . waste of paying extra money on! im not picky and iv got lot of experiance in catering and hospitality. first you got to pay out on top for parking first come first served. £6 then £15 to use the pool its not free and your have to book a hr slot , so never got as right after breakfast wasnt a very good idea . The stairs stuck of mildew, the room was not on the pictures but just find the worse room on you tube and you see other peoples reviews. for 3 3x beds ok one battered old chair looks like out of skip wrip arms no curtains bed under only window no bedside working lights just 6 spot lights only two lots of cups good job we had a travel cups kettle and water and our own kettle ., no soap wash in hand or shower dispenser. could see lumps of dust were they mop . tricky shower to work risk of burning, breakfast cheap ingredients.
3.8
Cheap and cheerful. Nothing too exciting. Good place to stay if you just want a good sleep.
