The location was fantastic, right in the heart of Old Town San Sebastián

Location was great but, we had to wait till another guest arrived and opened the door for us, then wait another thirty minutes for the lady in charge. There was no one at the Reception ever, until our last day there we the employee in charge arrive from vacation (she worked the Reception from 10 am to 1 pm. We were given the keys to the front door and our room and a phone number to call in casa we needed something. The room was not ready when we finally got to it (3 o’clock) and we were told that there won’t be room service for the time we were there. It was disappointing.

Really liked the location, however it would have been nice to have access to some extra towels. My sister had the flu and she had to use the same towel for all three nights. Even a face towel would have been sufficient (we were given one bath towel each and one hand towel to share for the duration of our stay). For a three night stay with no daily house keeping, a larger garbage would be more efficient as well as the potential addition of a small fridge even just for a bottle of wine. Overall we really enjoyed our room and felt comfortable, there were no issues just a few amenities that could have made our stay slightly more comfortable, given that there is no one at reception to ask when needs arise. We would recommend this property to others.

Very modern room in the old town- bed was comfortable but the pillow was a little too soft for me. A small balcony allowed you to look out over the street but was fairly quiet of a night. Aircon worked very well. I would suggest a couple of hooks to hang up towels as there wasn’t a daily service and perhaps a small broom as despite our best attempts to leave the sand on the beach some landed on the floor in our room. Right in the middle of pinches -would stay there again.

Liked: The property was in a great location in the Old Town close to lots of great restaurants and bars.
Dislikes/Things to bare in mind when booking: There was a lack of facilities provided. We stayed 5 nights and during our stay, the room was not cleaned (We also bumped into other guests who also said that their room was not cleaned during their stay). We had to ask staff for new towels and toilet paper. We also had to go out and buy our own shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. There was no iron or ironing board.

This hotel is in a fabulous location, just a few stumbling steps from the best pinchos bars in the city and close to the waterfront and the beaches. The room was spacious and received lots of natural light.
That being said there is room for improvement.
The owners give a good impression in the public spaces but the room we received was rather poorly finished. No closet space at all just a flimsy wooden rack with some hangers. The bathroom had no towel racks or hooks. No toilet paper holder. The drain cover in the shower was loose. The only personal care products were some ketchup size pouches of soap and shampoo. No ventilation whatsoever in the bathroom who’s pocket door was jammed and very difficult to open and close.
When we went to go out in the evening the sliding glass front door of the establishment (the only way in or out) was jammed shut and we could not leave. Soon a group of tenants formed outside unable to get back into their rooms . We phoned our contact Tanya who called a handyman who arrived with a screwdriver trying to pry it open.
After a few attempts I managed to find a button near the ceiling that would release the mechanism. We were stuck for about an hour and a half and received no follow up call from Management to see if we were OK or to apologize (Tanya actually insinuated that I had damaged the door).
This could be a good property but the Management will have to put in a bit more effort into making it one. As a guest I was not very satisfied but was wi
