Good location and nice
Accommodation.

Easy to get to on bus; here was no one AT THE PROPERTY to help but a phone call worked to get into lockbox and get key.

Hotel about 15 mins walk from Botanical gardens. Family house that has been converted into rooms. Room 12, X2 single beds at the back in a conservatory, tiny window in room and bathroom. Very little sound proofing in room or from above. Ok for a night or two, but no more.

Overall good but window was leaking from rain.

It was...ok. Not terrible.

Mold in the bathroom. Bed was too hard.

The bathroom mould was horrible and made me sick feeling with the smell.

The location was ok, being off a bus line. When we wanted to check in, no one answered the door and we had to call someone to let us in. The room was mostly fine, however, it had a weird smell to it. The bathroom was a little gross, and the water pressure was quite poor. I think it's more a reflection of the astonishing economic situation we are in, where it is difficult to find a decent place to stay for less than $100 outside of Oxford (not even downtown). If you care about not spending a lot of money, then I guess this place is fine.

Nice, clean room, kind service, good public transport to the city centre.
Just the bathroom: the water from the shower fled over and the doorhandle broke off.
6.0
We stayed a few nights but sadly had a few hiccups with the facilities. The door of the shower seemed broken and could never stay shut and the bed was not comfortable. We missing sustainable pillows and springs were almost exposed from the mattress.
Unrelated to the owners, the other residents were very loud and constantly exiting close to our unprotected windows all night long.

Exceptionally clean. Plenty of hot water. Has parking and the #3 bus stops outside. It’s hard to find family rooms and this was the best we had wth our 2 teenagers.

Nice room and bathroom check in was easy .

The check-in procedure should have been advised earlier before arrival (made a call to get password to get key from key box). Sound proof is bad, talking, walking, flushing, turning on tap from upstairs' guests could be heard clearly. Water leak from shower cube. No hair dryer. Kettle with water from previous guest. Family room is small (different from what's on booking's confirmation or when selecting the room type).

No lock on the door and handles snapped.
1.0
No air conditioning and no hot water.
No one can help.

Noisy environment with the road just in front of the hotel in case you get the room near the road. You will be wake up at 06h00 am. Otherwise the room was ok

The property is situated close to public transport, coop food shop, fish & chips shop really close.
It wasn't the quietest place I've ever stayed, but I was prepared for that as I researched the address.
What I didn't like is that there was no service. 'Host will meet you at the property' did not happen. I mean , simple things like providing more toilet roll, tea bags or hand soap was not offered. And the worst of all- you get 1 key which will get you into the house AND your room, which means to all the other guest rooms as well! This really stressed me out.

Lovely place to stay. Each room has its own bathroom which is a brilliant idea. Only complaint is that the shower in ours (1), was scolding hot and you couldn't get a comfortable temp level to shower in.

Good budget option - no frills, but clean, comfortable and well located

I stayed at this property as I had a funeral in Oxford. The property was clean and tidy. My only 3 issues were that they mentioned on the site that check-in was up to 2200 hours, so I rushed from London to get there for 9.30pm to ensure that I could get in. However, on arrival I was advised over the phone that the key to my room was in a safe box by the front door, if I was advised this initially then I could have taken my time to arrive rather than rushing. Secondly, the heating went off in the middle of the night and it was quite cold during the night. Thirdly, the shower unit was quite small, I am not a large person, but I found myself hitting myself on the door when trying to turn in the shower. Lastly, I had to leave quite early in the morning and found that, there was no one around to ask for an iron, so had to amend what I was wearing to ensure that I was still dressed smart but not wearing clothes that needed ironing. Apart from all of the above, I would still stay here again as, as mentioned, it was clean, the proprietor on the phone was friendly and there weren’t any major issues.

We (family of 4) arrived by sat nav very easily, and parked carefully at the front parking position. Paid for our stay and were helped into our room. TV was at first fixed by means of a small in room aerial, but the next day I could not get the WiFi to appear in settings. The last morning at about 3:15am I could not sleep because of some strange thudding noise it lasted about 15 minutes ?? My daughter also heard it but everyone else let through it.
However the person in charge was very friendly and supplied about 4 large bottles of still water for filling the kettle, needed as it would have been difficult to fill the kettle from the small hand-basin in the shower/WC. The shower drain away was not in best working order. The person in charge told us about this when we asked his advice about how to use the shower, at that time he mentioned the shower's drain is not working properly: -such as making a puddle. It was unfortunate so inconvenient while we stayed. However, we thanked the person in charge was very kind & supportive. despite these issues we would consider staying again! Hopefully the ability to set up the TV and drain can be sorted and the noisy thumping got rid of. Thanks for the chance to visit Oxford via the regular number 3 Bus and being so close to the COOP supermarket was a bonus!!

When we arrived, we called the owner to check in. Our room had 2 single beds Instead of the double that we had paid for. After calling multiple times we finally got through but were given a very poor excuse as to why we did not have the room we had originally paid for. We were also advised to cancel, which was not possible as we had travelled far to stay in Oxford, so we needed someone to stay. They didn't resolve the issue or offer any kind of compensation for this. Luckily, we were only staying one night, otherwise I would have been very disappointed. The sheets were clean and bed was confortable, but you get what you pay for.

Reception staff member very nice. Room size adequate, bed comfortable but quite low, bathroom very compact. On main road so very noisy at times. No daily room service as advertised. We stayed 3 nights and had to ask for toilet rolls. Towels and waste bins, tea/coffee sachets were not replaced in the room. However, ideal for regular daily bus route into central Oxford. Car parking very tight at rear of property. Front patio area looks very tired as do the paths surrounding the property.

Average, no frills bed for the night. If you don’t mind doors slamming, hearing people in the room above or strange food smells, then this is the place to visit. It’s a short walk into Oxford.

Bon emplacement à 15 min à pied du centre ville. Chambre familiale petite mais propre et confortable. Inconvénient pour des Français les rideaux pas très épais mais c'est partout comme ça en Angleterre.
