I recently stayed in the Signature Room, and I was very impressed. The hotel’s design is stunning, with attention to detail in every aspect, from the pleasant scent throughout to the well-thought-out room amenities, including Le Labo products in the spacious bathroom.
The staff was exceptionally attentive, going the extra mile to cater to personal preferences, like serving my drink on the terrace even though I was the only guest outside.
The restaurant offered a well-balanced menu with great suggestions, and the sommelier’s wine recommendations were spot on. The breakfast was also extensive and of high quality.
Overall, a fantastic hotel that combines comfort, style, and outstanding service. Highly recommended!

It is a beautiful hotel
Would diffidently go back

A beautiful property, but there were some misses. They forgot to clean my room, frequently no one was at the check-in desk and you had to wait, and the service was a bit cold. But if you're into design, it's a nice spot.

Lovely rooms and environment. My room wasn't always as quiet as I would have liked (#16) but overall it was a nice stay in Antwerp. Not so close to much, you need to take the tram or walk to get to the city center.

We had such a lovely stay at August — I wish we’d planned a longer visit, just to spend time in the room and around the property! The staff were very welcoming and showed us straight to our room even though we were a bit early. The room was perfectly designed and peaceful (the terrace was especially lovely) — a carafe of water and a little sweet on arrival, Le Labo toiletries, robes etc. made it feel lush without being fussy. Highly recommend the breakfast (we usually skip hotel breakfasts, but some are worth it!), and the back garden is the most gorgeous spot for an aperitif before dinner. If we find ourselves in Antwerp again, we’ll be back at August for sure!

My husband and I absolutely loved our stay at August. The staff, amenities, rooms, and overall experience was exceptional. The food within the hotel was one of the best meals of our lives. We can’t wait to come back!

Such a relaxing hotel - well worth the splurge for the balcony.

Other than spiders and mosquitoes in the room everything else is great

Serene and sublime. August makes Antwerp worth a special trip. The prettiest room for cocktails and dining, fresh floral bouquets, toiletries from Le Labo and a bed with fine linens and Belgian linen throws. I want to live at August forever more.

I really loved my stay at the August. Super cozy and nice

Beautiful and luxurious hotel. The rooms are small but very stylish and comfortable. Be aware the shower is in the room though if you’re sharing the room with someone you’re not intimate with.
Breakfast is delicious but all other meals require a reservation at the hotel restaurant weeks in advance as they do not hold tables for hotel guests unless you make a reservation.
Parking was a pain as the hotel has very limited parking spaces and the neighborhood is very busy and hard to park in (street parking has parking meters too).

A great new address in Antwerp, located in a beautiful building - a former monastery I believe. Serene ambiance that feels very restful.
Even the smaller rooms are airy and well designed, so you feel cozy but never cramped. Perfect for a couple of nights, and definitely a must-try.
Breakfast is sumptuous and I regret not having time to test its award winning resto more.

Gorgeous new hotel with impeccable taste, atmosphere and ambiance. The use of materials is top notch and the historic building is really appealing.
On another note, you have to pay for breakfast which is not so nice for that kind of luxury hotels. Also, there is no gym available and you also have to pay to access the spa. So you don’t get a whole lot for your money.
Also, the location is not great and quite far from the city center which is a shame. But that’s why the space is so great, also.
Good experience overall but I was not 100% satisfied. Great design makes up for it.

Feel like a true sanctuary, impeccably and thoughtfully designed - feels like being in a bit of history yet still modernly comfortable. Very beautiful hotel and surroundings.

I was extremely looking forward to my stay at August and it did not disappoint. As a design junkie it ticked all my boxes. The staff are superb, so friendly and welcoming. The renovation by Vincent Van Dysen is stunning and very relaxed and well done. The room was extremely comfortable and the bed even more so with a wonderfully done bathroom. The hotel sits in an up and coming very trendy area with the very cool PVKT development behind with lots of eating options and cool spaces if the in-house restaurant is too formal. The breakfast was extremely high quality and worth the price, the staff again were superb. There are charming gardens to relax in as well as spaces within the hotel for guests. The only disappointment was the Spa. it costs an additional €70 for 1 hour; its NOT included in the room rate. There is beautiful natural swimming pool and you get exclusive use during your allotted 1 hour. However the design was rather lacking (cost savings here?) it was already showing signs of wear and the lighting was not at pleasant/comfortable space sadly. If your paying €70 for only an hour to use the space it was not really relaxing enough and I would not say the cost warranted its use; maybe still room to improve here. Recommended... Id stay again.

Everything was good. Just wished there was more effort put into eco friendly practices such as asking guests if they want their towels changed. High design should comes with high consciousness

great service, the hotel is a beautiful well executed design hotel. The only thing we were not able to have dinner on any of the 3 nights we stayed due to being booked out for the whole month of July. They should reserve some tables for guests staying at the hotel. We had the bar food and it was exceptional!
