I was a bit worried from other reviews, but this stay was SUPER clean! I'd like to think I have high cleaning standards. It was our favorite hotel at Santorini. The jacuzzis are semi-private--they're near one another outside, close enough to where you can hear conversations, but each room gets their own. The Superior room can sleep 3-4 people--you can turn the couches into 3 beds on request. (1 queen, 1 twin, 1 twin). The hospitality was incredible, and it felt really good to stay here. I wish I could've stayed at this hotel the entire time we were at Santorini. It had a smart TV with Netflix, Spotify, etc. which is surprisingly hard to find in Santorini. The location was close to the main street, about a 10 minute walk. Beds were comfortable. Easy to get in contact with host to get new towels, sheets, and random items such as bottle openers. The owners of La Casa de Caldera provide tons of info and options for things to do, such as massages, horse riding, and places to go. Me and my two friends loved this place. For context, we also stayed in Perissa and at another luxury hotel in Oia. I will say that the shower does get water everywhere in the bathroom, but that's the only negative, which really isn't that bad!

This was a wonderful place to stay. The view is absolutely breathtaking and definitely the major highlight of our stay. The room was also great! It’s in the traditional cave setting and stays cool during the hot days! The only thing we could’ve wished for more was a pool or jacuzzi, but it didn’t disappoint us that we didn’t since there were many beaches to swim at around the island!
Nick was an amazing host and hand delivered breakfast to our patio each morning. He really cares for those staying here and made our visit pleasant.
My fiancé and I stayed for 7 nights and it was the best thing we could have chosen. For the price and accommodation, this is a true gem of Santorini if you’re looking to stay in Oia!

Worst place I've ever booked via Hotelsdotcom and the most overpriced. Don't overspend and waste your money staying here or in Oia in general. Bathroom was disgusting with mold. Shower is basically right above toilet. Unsafe electrical too. I had to turn the light off to avoid possible electrocution!

The view was amazing. Walking distance to the main part of Oia. Great service. Contact them to arrange an airport pick up, it was super easy.
We stayed in the smallest room and my only surprised was that there is no shower but for the price and the view is all worth it.
I would definitely stay here again but maybe pick the bigger room :)

Couldn’t be happier with our stay! It was the highlight of the trip. Each morning we woke up to a gorgeous view of the caldera and town on a small terrace. We were given a generous breakfast basket and were well taken care of if we had questions or needed help. Great location - just a 10-12 min walk from the town. This made it nice and relaxing as it was very quiet at night. If you’re planning a trip to Santorini you must stay at Casa de Caldera!

A little difficult to do an early check-in. However, the staff did their best to have our room ready half an hour early. The shower is not your usual shower, it is more a toilet/shower all-in-one combo. Great views of the caldera and sunset. Breakfast was included (toast, cereal, milk, orange juice) but not vegan or vegetarian friendly if you have a diet restriction. Mini market is around the corner and there are good options for vegan in the area. I recommend Karma. Hotel overall is a star up, and Ok for a quick stay. They are also able to book you a “taxi” to the airport and I would recommend also taking a taxi on your way to Oia. Bus service is way cheaper but takes more than double the time and is confusing. If staying longer or honeymooning i would recommend finding a hotel with more amenities even if pricier.

Excellent view. Seriously. Short walk from main spots in Oia and restaurants. Only downside is that heat can get to you in summer months while walking to the primary locations.

La casa de caldera is a top choice in Oia - peaceful, well located, great bed, a supermarket nearby, bus stop nearby too, beautiful sun-lit terrace, AC, fridge, & late checkout! Wonderful host too! Highly recommended.

I had the pleasure of staying in this hotel in September. I wanted to stay in Oia and couldn’t have asked for a better location. Pictures does not do this place justice, it’s much more spectacular in person with a million dollar view. The bed was comfy and I loved the cave style room. There’s a restaurant right above the hotel that we ate at a few times, food was great and just steps from our room. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat

Absolutely Amazing View! Nick was so accommodating, left us a bottle of water and delicious wine. They do have a housekeeper that comes everyday. There is AC that worked great. Store very close, coffee shop at restaurant above you that opens at 7am. I will definitely stay again!

La Casa de Caldera is a real gem! This newly opened property is an authentic, traditional cave guesthouse. We stayed for three nights in the apartment with two double beds. The pictures provided are completely accurate. The view is phenomenal!Upon arrival, we were met at the property by a very friendly, helpful gentleman who carried our luggage to the room and helped us get settled. He provided a contact number to call should we have needed assistance, though we had no need to get in touch with anyone. The apartments are in a perfect location, situated a short walk away from the caldera while also providing a really quiet, peaceful and private feel. It is easily accessible too so very suitable for those unable to manage too many steps. The apartment itself is spacious. The bathroom is small but absolutely fine. The beds were comfortable. There was a fridge and two glasses but no plates, bowls or cutlery. This was not a problem for us as the property is within short walking distance from a couple of excellent restaurants and a store. WiFi was easy to connect. If we had stayed longer than three days, it would have been nice to have access to a pool but for a short trip it was completely perfect.I would recommend this property without hesitation and would definitely stay again if I return!
