What stood out most to me was the staff. The front desk staff was amazing as was the restaurant staff, everyone was very friendly and helpful. They really made my girlfriend and I feel like we were at home.

Excellent value, quality breakfast

Just a really good place to stay, central in the city, easy to walk too many good locations.

I really liked the location (Retiro) - not touristy like the Obelisk area but still pretty central and quiet, offering easy access to Recoleta/Palermo, Puerto Madero, Plaza de Mayo, and La Boca. The hotel rooms are nothing fancy but clean enough. Also, the park views are spectacular. The breakfast is pretty basic but it is everything you need; just go earlier, as they may run out of things like coffee or jam closer to 10:30 (when breakfast ends). The best thing about the hotel, other than the location, are the staff. They are so polite and kind - I loved them all. It probably made a difference that I made an effort to speak Spanish as much as possible, which they appreciated. I definitely recommend this place.

Great location. Nice breakfast. Had a small room with no view.

The staff was very kind and helpful. The medialuna at breakfast was excellent. The room and bathroom were very clean and decent-sized. Some people in the reviews said they didn't like their beds 'coz they were hard and uncomfortable. I actually loved my bed! I always prefer a firm mattress instead of those springy or soft-foam ones. However, I didn't like that the room kind of smelled like cigar. The room was very clean but there was that smell. Additionally, the AC took so long to cool the room and, throughout the night, it felt like it was just in fan mode. It took me a while to fall asleep partly because of that.

Centrally located to many sights. Clean comfortable rooms. Staff was very accommodating and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

All the hotel Staff was kind and paid special attention to all our needs. Free breakfast buffet was also remarcable and delicious.

great place for a great vacation .

Very friendly and easy check in. Room was large and would be good for multiple nights (we were just there for one). The beds were not the most comfortable, but after a long day I did not even notice.

Such a lovely staff and they’re all very helpful.

This property could be so good. Great location. The staff are their best asset. The restaurant is good, the breakfast so so. What we didn't like was that everywhere you looked you could see items that needed to be repaired, painted, or renovated. For some reason they had insufficient key cards, they are pennies per card. There were issues with our lock and the keycards, four times we needed assistance.

Historic. Nice. Will be back

The stay was ok, nice old palace. The beds were very hard and uncomfortable, and the evening front desk man was rude. I went down to him the evening before checkout when I received an email that our flight to Iguazú was delayed the next day and before I even got the question out he literally screamed at me that no late checkout was available. He didn’t have to scream it at me, and he could have at least humored me and let me finish my question.

Thought front desk staff were especially helpful always going the extra mile.

The staff was fantastic....front desk, breakfast staff and housekeeping. Quick question......why no closet, no liquid soap, no tissues?
