Very clean & staff was very friendly. Room was huge. Breakfast was delicious & filling. The pool was huge & a blast to swim in. Took us about 15 minutes to get to downtown New Haven. Would definitely stay here again.

Had a handicapped room Quite sizeable amd very clean Homewood needs to change their breakfast scrambled eggs Stayed in 3 different locations and in all of them, the eggs were swimming in pools of water!!!! Really Watery eggs??? Inedible amd stomach churning to look at

Ellie at front desk was wonderful and handled challenging and rude customers professionally. We appreciated the size of the rooms and the kitchen. We were unhappy to know there was a large dog in the room beside us who barked continuously for about 45 minutes in the morning. As I was about to call the front desk, the owners must have returned. Loved the unique breakfast option of breakfast tacos/burritos - definitely a different option than most hotel breakfasts.

Room was very clean. Pillows good if you like flat pillow, otherwise bring your own. Plug in tub would not stay up so fills up while showering. Overall no major complaints. Breakfast very basic, get ya out the door. Coffee bland. Main thing for me is a clean room and that it was. I would highly recommend.

Hotel had a very dirty pool dirt and algea on walls like it hasnt been cleaned. Hot tub was colder that the pool and was turned off also had dirty bubbles or foam floating from it. The firpit they offer for smores was "down for maintenance" wasnt informed about that until AFTER we purchased items from their lobby store to make smores. I would add photos if this website allowed. After complaining to staff all they did was apologize did not offer any kind of compensation. After checking out I called hotel to speak with general manager they informed me he was not available and i left a voicemail. No call back to me. I called again. Still no call back. Emailed twice still no response. Finally called corporate they offered me a free night in a standard room which is several steps down from the room i originally booked. Wouldnt reccomend this hotel to anyone. Nor would i reccomend the north haven homewood suites as it is run by the same regional general manager. They clearly dont care about any complaints as they dont even acknowledge them just as he did not acknowlege the disgusting pool.

It as fine I was disappointed with the basketball court being out of order and the pool looked nasty and the laundering experience wasnt good. I waited 2 hours before I was able to put my clothes in the dryer. Other than that the staff was pleasant and helpful.

We stayed here for almost two weeks. It is a well maintained good property to stay for a longer duration. We had a suite with a small kitchen. So it was great to heat the leftover food from a restaurant to eat the next day. Overall it was good. However, the pool wasn’t functional for almost 8 days of our stay. Secondly, the cleaners were not regular and when they came they came they did very basic cleaning even though we stayed for a longer time.
