We have stayed here many times over the years and works great for us. Clean, friendly, centrally located and dog-friendly, all we need. We appreciate the full kitchen rooms. Great stay at an even better price in the off-season.

This is the second time we have chosen to stay at this motel, and our experience has been positive once again. The gentleman at the front desk is exceptionally approachable and friendly, making the check-in process smooth and pleasant. I appreciated that when I inquired about the possibility of checking in a bit earlier than the standard time, he was accommodating and granted my request without any hesitation. While I wouldn’t describe this motel as perfect—it certainly has its quirks—it is a great option for those looking for a budget-friendly place to stay. The rooms are consistently clean and well-maintained, which is a huge plus. Overall, given its affordability and the level of service we received, I definitely recommend it for anyone seeking a reliable and economical lodging option.

It was a good stay. Staff took care of anything I needed. It was very close to the beach and it was clean. The price was very affordable. Not the top notch hotel but a very nice, clean, quiet Hotel. Id definitely stay there again.

Needed a quick place to stay on our trip. Decided on this budget friendly hotel and was pleasantly surprised! This is a wonderful little gem. Staff were friendly. Check in and out was easy. The room was clean with a nice size fridge and microwave. AC worked great. The beds were a little too firm for my liking and blankets were thin. I always bring extra blankets.

Two things I didn't like if your riding a motorcycle make sure to park at the end because people will park way to close for comfort or even double park and still be to close .. The animal friendly is a awesome thing but when someone has a puppy and leaves it alone of course it won't stop barking so that sucked really early in the am

The A/C did not work properly. When I notified the front desk, I was told that maintenance was out and there was not anything they could do. Beds were very uncomfortable. I do not recommend staying here for the cost.

Breakfast options were good. Bed is firm and pillows we super soft. Sheets and bedspread is very thin, but good if you are a hot sleeper. For the price, very worth it if you are just going for the beach and Port A fun and not for the room. Pool was ok, small and can get crowded. Overall, will stay

Our room looked nothing like the pictures online! Our experience was nothing like that of the excellent reviews I read online when I booked our stay. There was mold in the shower and no lid on the toilet. We were there 4 nights, yet our room was never serviced. It would have been nice to have housekeeping come back o room to clean up the sand we were tracking back from the beach. We had to ask for more towels and toilet pepper. We also had to just pile up all our trash for days since no one was coming to collect it. I’m guessing those leaving excellent reviews have little experience with hotels that have earned more than two starts and therefore do not know to have higher expectations? I was pleasantly surprised by the breakfast, it was basic, but there many options.

Always a great affordable choice. Like the room with a kitchen. The rooms are spacious, hotel is next to the only grocery store in town. Parking lot is well lit and feels safe. The price is always good.

Office manager is phenomenal! She just makes it happen. The maintenance guy David is very accommodating and helpful. Bottom line you can't beat the location and amenities for the price. I've stayed in high end places and paid for it. At the end of the day this property offers the necessities needed at an affordable price. I will return. It's all you need. Ready to book again.
