Our stay at the Djorff palace was simply amazing. The owner/ hostess, Morina, was a treat. She made sure that our stay in Luxor was a delight. The rooms are spacious and luxurious. They have limited rooms but that is by design. They have a beautiful pool and a great breakfast is provided. We also ate dinner as well at the palace. They provided a traditional Egytian menu each night. We wish we could have stayed longer. They provide a boat, for free, to carry you over to the east side of the Nile. Staying on the west side was peaceful as you are surrounded by small villages. If we stayed in Luxor again, there is little doubt that the palace is number one. We will never forget our memorable stay at the palace.

From check-in to check-out the service was fantastic. A unique hotel in a perfect location led to a really enjoyable vacation. The boat across to the east side of the Nile was great and our driver (Kalid) was nothing short of brilliant to look after us on our trips. The staff were attentive and efficient and breakfast was both delicious and great fun. If you are travelling to Luxor, this is a must-stay location to make the trip both relaxing and enjoyable. 5 stars for sure.

Fantastic stay at the Djorff Palace. The setting is magical located on the quite and beautiful West Bank, the Palace allows a peaceful stay along the Nile’s shores. The building itself is unbelievable, built with taste and lot attention to the details, wooden balconies and windows, the place in itself a journey back to the past. Thank you so much for the creativity, hospitality and friendliness.

Wonderful place. It had the vibe we were looking for, the reception and the rooms all had a great atmosphere with a great selection of furniture and art; the place will make you feel like you have stepped into history. The gardens and the pool were lovely, secluded from the hustle of the town but in close proximity by a quick boat ride ( complimentary for guests at the hotel)
The owner was very nice and involved with all clients, making sure everyone was having a great time.
The only feedback I would give is the linen in the bedrooms should be better. It felt old and worn. And the beds were not the comfiest.

This hotel is a gem. We were immediately greeted by the owner of this majestically built modern palace. Overlooking the grand river Nile, and the city of Luxor, we were treated to an amazing venue with great rooms, including a balcony and large vaulted ceilings, you are truly treated like royalty. Includes a great breakfast, if i lived closer i would make this detination a yearly getaway.

Djorff Palace is gorgeous. The rooms are lovely, the owners are warm and friendly, and the staff courteous. The hotel is a hidden gem surrounded by beautiful, lush fields, the Nile river, and is close to many of the temples. I wish I had stayed in Luxor for many more days, and cannot wait to return.

It is truly difficult to adequately express the unique and extraordinary nature of the Djorff Palace. From Mohamed's remarkable imagination, creativity, and knowledge that allowed him to create such a magnificent structure, to Dr. Marina's captivating storytelling about her life experiences and journey to Luxor, the two owners have gone above and beyond to craft an exceptionally welcoming and intimate experience for their guests.
Their extensive network of local contacts ensures that visitors receive the most authentic and enriching experiences that Luxor has to offer, whether it be through excursions or personalized advice.
The exemplary service extends beyond the palace itself, as each and every staff member demonstrates an unwavering commitment to ensuring that guests are constantly delighted and satisfied.
We wholeheartedly recommend this exceptional establishment and eagerly anticipate our next visit.
Our deepest gratitude to Mohamed, Marina, and the entire staff for making our stay truly unforgettable.

Newly built hotel exquisitely designed and traditionally furnished by the owners. Room was spotless and well appointed with a great shower and water pressure. Minibar in the room was refreshed daily and kept drinks nice and cold. Owners were very friendly and took the time to chat and advise/organise sightseeing trips and activities at very reasonable costs. The hotel provided a riverboat to take guests across the Nile and back whenever required free of
charge or would take you down the river to the temple for 100LE (£1.40). Food was excellent and freshly prepared by the chef and the menu changed daily. Finally all the staff appeared happy at work and were always smiling and pleased to say hello. The rooms, food and drinks were all reasonably priced. Would definitely stay again.

A personal touch in all services. The owner Marina has a VIP treatment not only for the customer but for each and every employee. It was such a pleasure to stay and interact with all of these special people at the hotel. The hotel is the gem of the Nile and Luxor in general. Hope to be back real soon to Luxor and will look no further than this property for my stay!! Kudos to Marina and her vision for this property!

The owner, Marina, is a gem! Our flight arrived after the restaurant closed. Marina put 2 salads & 2 desserts in our room in case we were hungry - so thoughtful and much appreciated. The tour guides & drivers she arranged for us were wonderful (a breath of fresh air after having a bad experience in Cairo). The property is on the West bank but the hotel’s water taxi gets you to the town side in 10 min. Overall, beautiful grounds, spectacular views of the Nile and unique rooms.

The owner greeted us upon entering and made us quite comfortable. Loved that the dinner menu changed daily. The staff was very accommodating. The owner gave us a private tour of the new extension of the hotel. Definitely will be back after the new wing is completed.

Djorff Palace is a diamond of a place on the West Bank of Luxor: peaceful ambience; tasteful, eclectic decor and architectural design; excellent dining and amenities; and an attentive yet relaxed staff (a relief in Luxor). We wished we had booked more nights with them.

The view over the Nile was gorgeous, but I was concerned about the Animals and their care. I know they are not all yours, but please ensure they are cared for the best possible.

Because of this hotel I’m now planning another trip to Egypt with not just myself.
I travel all over the world with my job and for pleasure and this hotel is definitely in my top 3.
The rooms are amazing, I think I even took a picture of the walk in shower.
You are right next to the Nile with a hotel boat to take to the East bank if you’re going to see Karnak and the Temples (you can see Karnak in the distance from hotel)
The owner Marina was very welcoming and a great source of knowledge and I hope to stay in touch. The staff are amazing, friendly and welcoming and I enjoyed my daily chats with them.
The breakfast are fantastic and sets you up for the day.
This was so good I stayed 6 days instead of 3
This will add to your Egypt experience- don’t hesitate, you’ve found your hotel

We had such a great time at Djorff Palace. The staff is awesome and we got spoiled from beginning to the end.
Getting to the city of Luxor is fast.
Djorff Palace got their own Nile River boat shuttle. Just text the reception on WhatsApp 10 min before you need a pickup.
The architecture of the hotel is beautiful. The owner couple have a superb taste and sense of quality.
Spacious and clean room. Two wonderful restaurant with friendly service.
And not to forget the fantastic drivers they got - Terik was a genius!
My mother and I comes back one day

If you want to spend a moment of peace and serenity, you absolutely must come to the DJORFF PALACE, on the banks of the Nile, calm is required, when in the restaurant, it is simply delicious, and all this in excellent value for money

Very dramatic and unique boutique hotel in Luxor. Situated on the western bank of the river it is surrounded by pastoral farms and overlooks the downtown Luxor skyline, a pleasant mix of timeless and contemporary. Our, Ruby, was large with a 28ft ceiling and massive bathroom. The second floor views of the Nile boats floating by were amazing.
Furniture in the room was traditional inlaid dark wood and comfortable.
The staff are all friendly and enthusiastic. Any requests were met with an immediate response. The only suggestions would be water kettles in the room to make one’s own tea, and an enclosed dining area. The pool bar is the only dining option but is open air. I’m sure in the summer it’s fine, but in the winter with a breeze it’s coat weather. Roll down plastic barriers would solve the problem.
The food is abundant, good variety, and very tasty at all meals. There is no alcohol so bring your own beer or wine.
Being on the western bank of Nile takes you away from the ‘action’ of downtown Luxor but the Djorff has it’s own shuttle boat so you can get across quickly.
All in all we had a terrific stay and look forward to visiting again if possible.

It's on the quiet side of the river

This property is beautiful itself, you get the Egyptian style housing experience. In room amenities be like 2-3 star hotel.
You choose this one pretty much for this beautiful architecture building.
It has pool and it’s own restaurant bar.
Also boat crossing Nile river west and east bank is included.

The decoration of the hotel is super unique and lovely! A different stay. Service is great overall and the owners wonderful people that would solve any issue you might have.
My only comment is about the alcohol permission, since the hotel is on the west side they can't sell alcohol in the property as in the other hotels in the east. Besides that, Id highly recommend to stay here.

Awesome hotel in Luxor. Very unique. Staff were outstanding and very helpful.
4.0 / 5.0
The stuff where friendly and helpful. The room and the facilities were clean. I love the building and the views from the cafe and the swimming pool. The location was the best part for me. We had food a couple of times and there was good choice and the food was delicious. The only thing that I would have liked to make it perfect would be more choir at breakfast or a more traditional Egyptian breakfast.

One of a kind. A Bijoux far the hustle and bustle of Luxor city center. Lovely stay

We stayed at the Djorff Palace for 2 nights. The staff were excellent. Very friendly and accommodating. Marina (owner) reached out to us via email before we arrived to see if we would like to arrange guides and drivers during our stay in Luxor. She gave us some great suggestions. Once we arrived at the Djorff she was there to greet us. It was lovely. The room was very clean and interesting. The Geckos did come to say hello but they did not stay long :)
The hotel offers breakfast and lunch. The food was good, fresh and well presented. The lunch menu is available until 9:00 p.m. Alcohol is not available at the hotel but you can purchase it from some of the restaurants in Luxor. The water taxi is a quick and easy way to get back and forth from the East Bank. It is free from the hotel. It was very peaceful and serene which made a lovely change from the hustle and bustle of the East Bank and the temples. There is a pool on site as well. I would suggest that you bring your own blow dryer and iron if these items are important to you. I would highly recommend this hotel.

This is a great hotel to stay at while visiting the west bank. The rooms are comfortable and well decorated. The management and staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant served delicious food. The desserts were wonderful. After a day of sight-seeing, this was a quiet and restful place to return to.
