Ratings and reviews

Worst accommodation experience on this 8 month Latin America trip so far. There is no way that their rating is legitimate. Upon arrival I was treated like a dog in a zoo. It was baking hot and I was told to stand in the corner with no seat or water offered and my passport was demanded. I was so furious I tried to cancel via the booking websites support chat but the business refused to let me cancel and wanted the full 3 nights which I had pre-paid, though at this point I hadn't even checked in. These people are beyond slime and pretended that they had no choice to reject the refund as it was the booking websites issue (whom I had on live chat at that moment). All they were concerned about the entire time was that I was not allowed to use the rooms air conditioning - the only thing they offered or said the entire time. A guest here is like a criminal in a prison and I decided to stay so as not to allow them the pleasure of stealing three nights worth of payment without consequence. I promised them I'd give them this review and here we are (see pictures for validation). The place is sketchy and is clearly used for ulterior motives hence the insane security - as they have you duel padlocked inside the building and you have so get somebody to manually unlock the doors to leave. The room was a dump too and the shower is a pipe hanging out the wall. No toilet paper of course and no towel provided. There are way more negatives, but the word count is almost reached...

Booked and prepaid for 4 nights. The first night I was not able to sleep at all. I could hear everything from the next door who had a little kid who ran around till mid-night. And then there was a party in the courtyard which went on till 3:00am. By then I was so irritated and uptight I could not fall asleep. The noise level was incredibly loud because they were drinking and screaming. The room had dirt in corners and the bedsheet had long hair everywhere. The shower had no head, just an exposed PVC pipe. When I complained to the office the next morning the guy said he was not the manager and had no authority to control the party animals. I sent an email explaining about my experience and asking for refund but haven’t heard from them. I will NOT recommend this place.
