The rooms were nice and comfortable. And also clean. But the service was SO bad. You could buy breakfast next to the small pool, but you cannot buy anything else during the day. Not even water. The area was not very nice. We were very dissapointed.

I really liked the property. It needs a little refreshing. The staff is amazing. Enrique, Carlos Adrian were fantastic and made our stay truly extra special. We rented bicycles and went to the beach that way every day. 20 minute bike ride. Hotel breakfast reasonable. The chef accommodated special requests. Breakfast only. The rooms are very nice.

Beautiful stay! The hotel has 11 rooms and they were amazing. I love how they were decorated, water pressure in the shower was perfect and the pool area is so nice. We stayed 3 nights and it was very reasonably priced compared to other hotels in Tulum.

I absolutely loved my stay!! The staff was so accommodating and they approached me by name everyday. Breakfast was great about $13 a day. The ambiance was unmatched! Everything was beautiful and peaceful. If I did want to ride bikes I’d would’ve been an extra charge. I walked around the area to find a restaurant I felt extremely safe. I also had the doctor come to the hotel for the COVID testing 24 hours before my flight. (35-45$) US dollars $800 pesos

Truth to be told, I tried very hard to cancel this booking after reading some bad reviews. And I am so happy I didn’t. Zenses Wellness and Yoga Resort is an absolute gem and I had the most fantastic stay there. One of my concerns was the noise as some people had mentioned some construction work taking place next door. Quite frankly, I barely heard a thing. Yes there was a bit of hammering at some point, but it didn’t last long and it didn’t distract me from my book. My other concern was the location as I read some reviews about the hotel being in a dangerous area. I even stocked up on snacks at the airport in case I was too scared to go out! I wouldn’t say it’s dodgy or dangerous, yes it’s under developed but there are cars driving through the road and people walking by (both local and tourists) and I never felt once uneasy or at risk. Would I walk out there alone in the dark? Probably not, but I would say the same about many places in London where I live! Finally, I couldn’t be more grateful for the hospitality I received from the team. I was greeted by my name every time, and Juan Carlos came to introduce himself and gave me some great recommendations for local restaurants (Burrito Amor is amazing!). I didn’t witness any of the rude behaviour some people have talked about in their reviews. So maybe I was lucky, or maybe this hotel is just a fantastic place after all!

Recently had the pleasure of staying at zenses. Rooms are great, the pool is awesome; a little jungle oasis in tulum. Highly recommend but the best part of my stay was hands down the service. Estella and Juan made our trip so special; they went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and super accommodating. Ps-don’t forget to book a massage (hot stones)!!!

Beautiful, place. Room was tastefully decorated and spacious. High attention to detail. The concierge was kind and professional and always available to help. No food on site, but strategically located and close to many restaurants.

The hotel is amazing HOWEVER it’s in the most dangerous zone in Tulum. Taxis will even tell you they avoid those areas. Just a day after we arrived two tourist died due to cartel battling for territory.. this was two blocks from this hotel. Would it recommend going out at night walking and be prepared to pay $500 pesos to go to the beach where the hotel zone is located its 20-30min depending on traffic. Tulum is for someone who wants to spend $600-3000- night at the hotel zone. It’s somewhat safe there but very expensive not a lot of dining options below $100 a night. Avoid downtown. Also we checked out early due to it being dangerous Expedia tried working with reservations at the hotel we have yet to be refunded they kept hanging up on on Expedia and saying they couldn’t hear them. Very sketchy. Go to Cancun and get all inclusive better!

SHORT STORY SKIP IT. A solid modern day motel. The rooms are simple and clean. Simple and just straight to the point. There aren't any draws for your clothes or irons, microwaves or coffee makers in the room. The mini bar consists of Chips, nature bars, Oreos, water, coconut water and Herseys cookies and cream. Upon arrival it wasn't the warmest reception. I felt like I was walking into a room of gossiping women. It was odd but they weren't rude. They give you a number to text on whats app should you need something. Yoga though advertised on the website as twice a day (morning and evening) was only in the am. Yes they steal and are very dishonest. I should have listened to the other review saying that but we always think we are exempt from drama. Tried to rob me and at check out and When I caught it treated me terribly shouted and snatched things from me. She was mad I caught her trying to steal from me

I loved the layout of the hotel specially the rooms are beautiful and very spacious and the breakfast is definitely worth it in my opinion. I personally didn’t do yoga because I slept in and most of the days we had daily activities (we went with a group of friends). I’d also say that this hotel is more like for couples rather than a group of friends specially that they do not have a bar but at least they allow you bring your own alcohol if you chose to. Also, the mosquitos are inevitable!!! The mosquito repellent was not enough to keep them off me lol but I would definitely go back!

It is a beautiful hotel with a very zen quiet and peaceful vibe. You feel isolated. Small hotel with beautiful decor, however the beds were not comfortable. The hotel felt clean and staff was really nice, but i did not like the location of the hotel. It felt pretty sketchy and we did not feel comfortable walking to tulum centro and therefore, had to cab each time.

Great stay, unfortunately due to the Corona virus pandemic they where forced to close. The staff is super friendly and a great place to stay as soon as the travel restrictions are reduced. Wish the staff all the best in these difficult times
